That's already happening with the Devils, and we have no reason to expect it not to happen with other powers capable of traveling between Planes. The knowledge is not going to stay hidden for much longer. We might as well try to gain something from it while simultaneously releasing it ourselves, so as to get ahead of the interference is going to cause.
Yeah, but they won't give us anything worthwhile. Why would they, it's so easy to get the information.

The Devils at least we can just kill every time, we're already at war. This assholes will cause messes we have to clean and feel insulted when we do.

Just claim that we are keeping it secret until we can meet with influential Genies about it, then delay the reveal until we've consolidated our holdings. Then we have more bargaining power. And if they decide not to negotiate, we'll have armies and riches to fight back with against any bouts of colonialism.

She's influential though. She could literally offer to arrange us a meeting on the spot and then we'd have to say we need to delay. And then she might mention it to someone who actually has a single, miserable rank in Knowledge (Planes) and the gig will be up.

I don't agree. At the very least, we can insure cordial relations between us and them.

Any agreements we reach are likely to be honored as well; the Shaitan because they are deeply Lawful and will strive to meet the boundaries of any agreement we reach, and the Djinn because they are Chaotic Good.

We still seem to have a day or two of blocked in Shaitan escort time, and the turn schedule has a couple more days wiggle room for everyone before we start eating into other scheduled tasks. Think we can arrange a meeting between the higher ranking Djinn and Shaitan in that time?

You'll forgive me if I doubt the leaders of an all CG society are able to control their citizens, since they'll feel there's no need to ever do so. The Shaitan might do fine, but the Air Djinn will cause endless problems in the name of Good. And the Fire Djinn will retroactively know their enemies are doing something, investigate, and hit our home harder and faster than they otherwise would.

The Efreet already know.

If the Djinn nobles learn of it, too, they aren't necessarily going to immediately announce it to their entire populace.

It's basically a lost cause to try to keep the Efreet from coming to Prime Material. At the very least we can be comforted by the fact that our presence dissuades them. If any were dumb enough to cause trouble and get caught doing it, they'd go right to the sacrifice pile with little ceremony.

It's one thing to say the Efreet will go after us with assassins, and another that they'll start hitting everywhere across the plane to compete with what they see as their real enemies. Assassins we can deal with, they come to us. Colonizers we have to hunt down one by one.

Colonization would definitely warrant us hunting them down, but I'm confident that whatever divination scheme Azel comes up with would be able to detect anything like that.

Its only time until everyone finds out that Prime Material got its magic back.

Still, I would prefer we actually speak about the coordinates with someone with authority rather than with this airhead :V

The Shaitan appear to me as the best to negotiate the location with, Djinni if we meet the princess' parent, the Marid and Efreet can go explode.

To be honest I'm more worried about what the Air Djinn will get up to. If one of them decides to 'free the oppressed masses' pretty much anywhere in Westeros it becomes a problem we can't ignore and can't kill without a major incident.

Imagine what this girl would likely get up to if dumped on Westeros, and consider young Djinn nobles in general would probably consider leading a revolt against the cruel Lords who forbid their subjects magic to be both morally correct and immensely fun.

Not entirely happy with this, but I like it more than @Azel's plan (which I plagiarized somewhat).

[X] Speak to Embra yourself
-[X] Explain that you have been keeping the location of your home Plane a closely guarded secret. We had not planned to share this knowledge with others quite so soon, but the events of the past several days have presented us with an opportunity to do so in a manner that should insure the least harm to our Plane and the peoples who live there.
-[X] She has heard how much strife reigns there and how pigheaded morons sometimes react to any kind of magic. There already are some forces from other planes trying to invade and you are greatly worried of what someone like the Sultan of Brass would do, if he learned about a plane full of easily harvested souls to turn into Living Brass.
-[X] We would be most appreciative if she could arrange a meeting between us and her father. We ourselves hope to arrange a similar meeting with the Sultana, or more likely one of her representatives. It would be in all of our best interests to have a formal meeting to facilitate this exchange.

Sigh... they're going to give us the shaft. And then we're gonna have to fight all comers. And it is going to claim thousands. And then we are going to be angered by that, and kill them where they live.

I just want trade partners, why do we have to kill them inevitably? :(

For the people salty about the traders who divined the path, it isn't that they divined Viserys. They divined "would the path be open?" and they got some riddle involving dragon language that said basically yes.

@Duesal
a couple questions, which you might or might not have the answer to, i will probably ask DP in the morning for anything you can't answer.
-Do we have Darksister and the devil's whip with us? i want to take them to the curse breaker and see if he can properly identify them.
- do we know how the unsullied work? do our ghiscari trainers know? i want to know how they know who to obey, if its something like the whip they gave to dany in the show, we should have maelor and glyra identify the magister who use unsullied, and where they keep the whips.

We're making the best of the situation. Goldfish's vote is the best way at least we'll be able to profit off of it.

Maybe we'll be able to negotiate to keep them off the plan until we fully have it under our control.

I do not want them to have unfettered access to it until we at least control the Three Daughters and Westeros. At that point, even if they try to invade other Free Cities, we can intervene with allies of convenience in the local area. If they come at us and our lands we kill them all.

If we let them come NOW, when we don't even have a single Free City to our name, nevermind the entire continent that is our birthright? We are fucked.

Fucked.

Vote Goldfish? When in front of the Djinn--something that we can deliberately delay--we can negotiate for them to not interfere with our home plane for at least a period of time.

We don't have Darksister, I believe that's safely stored in Sorcerer's Deep with other unidentified items, but now that the Devil's Spiked Chain has been identified it should have been stashed in our Bag of Holding.

As for the Unsullied, IC we have no idea. Hell, OOC we have no idea. The Ghiscari trainers could be asked, but I don't think they'd know. They have this secret goddess called the Lady of the Spears that only the Unsullied worship, a goddess that they supposedly offer up their manhoods to. We really have no idea, though, and haven't exactly explored since we're against slavery.

Hell, I don't think we've even fought against Unsullied. Have we?

These are immortal Outsiders we are dealing with, high ranking ones at that. It wouldn't be out of bounds to assume any pre-arranged meeting might be scheduled for six months from now.

[X] Let the matter lie for now

It was entirely to be expected that she'd ask about our place, and it would be kinda neat if "summon feasts" came to our party.
On another note, planetos is already a full on buffet for all the assholes of the universe, she is an inroad to the kind of broad powerlevel we need to deal with e.g. the Illithids, while conveniently also being intrinsically pretty benign.

Honestly the best defense against adventurous Djinns might be, in a twist of irony, to spread exactly the kinds of rumors that cause us so much trouble in the Material. Namely, that troublemakers get sacrificed to the Gods and have True Death inflicted upon them.

Oooh. @Goldfish, when we see a Shaitan curse-breaker we can show them the Lawful Evil gem we've got.

So that's:

Cornugon's Spiked Chain
Dark Sun Dagger
Lawful Evil Soulgem
Dark Genie's Staff

With any luck there'll be a way to make these completely safe for us to use, or at the very least open up a pass for us to do the heavy-lifting ourselves so long as they can fully identify the curse-effects for us.

And Lawful divine spells we need we can now get from Malarys, no need to spend money there, but were there any scrolls you wanted to buy?
