[X] I set out to stop the murder of children and the helpless, and I have done so. While I would like to see the spirit brought to justice for the crimes it has already committed, these are not my lands, and the spirit is not truly here, merely speaking through that man's mouth. Killing it's pawns will not bring back the lost, nor bring justice to it.
-[X] The others aim to use the free folk. To cut them down like wheat, gather their grim harvest, and raise their frozen corpses up as a vast tireless army. They are the enemy of every living thing not born of ice and darkness, and they are coming. I have promised to defy this fate by taking the free folk from here, but I have made no such promise of rescue to these bear warriors. Take what solace you can from that.

Hmm should we shout "I made no such oath"? And conjoure some firey burst between her and us? Or would that not work on her?

Definitely think you should elaborate a bit on the fact that there is a significant possibility that everyone. Everyone, is fucked, and if she wants to survive, her best bet is to drop that vengance kick she's ruining on.

But not actually angry for the fiery burst. I mean, we all knew that this would piss them off, it's just pretending to be angry.

You are all taking this Long NIght apocalypse pretty seriously.
Sure it's a bigger deal than all the ones we've stopped or that could happen any time?

I'm actually rather optimistic that we'll get a chance to fight the leaders and end this without endless zombie-hordes playing any big roll in it.
Not like those could do anything to stop us from finding and killing the true Others.

This being the ASOIAF apocalypse, I think it will be a much bigger deal then the generic Illithid / Demon / Devil / Stuff shenanigans.

And I won't consider this won until the "Land of always Winter" is renamed the "Land of always On-Fire".

[X] "And did I not? No more will they prey on men, a threat they are no more. Perhaps even an ally."
-[X] "Tell me, you two, what do you know about the Long Night? If anything, the tales you heard fell short. And soon, very soon, it will be upon us again. I count myself lucky if we have a decade to prepare. The Wall is mighty, but the enemies' host is nigh endless. How many Free Folk have died in the course of eight thousand years? Not to mention ancient creatures and weapons from the last age of magic, held in store for this fight. A host such that the creatures we've slain are but chaff."
-[X] "It's easier for you to see, Harwood. Climb the wall, and the enemy's host will be all you can see. Elle, take your steed, climb into the air until the air becomes thin and your vision starts to darken. And the enemy's host will be all you can see."
-[X] "There will be but two sides on that war. The living, and the dead. If you loathe this side so much, just give up. Get yourselves drunk if the finest booze you can find and go to sleep in the snow, it will be peaceful. But I have no intention of letting frozen fucking corpses overrun the world. So either you help, or you get out of the way."

Eh, sleeping in the snow gives another body to the others.

How about adding making sure she does it in such a way that her clan can makr sure to burn her and scatter the ashes after? Not giving more corspes to the Others is the point.

Edit: You saw nothing

I'd be fine with "Land of Vulcanic Ash".

But even if it is a bigger deal, we know there'll be leaders and necromancers to kill and we know from Viserys' memories that even the deathless creatures outside of reality can be beaten by greater dragons, so I'm still not seeing why a few thousand zombies would matter that much.

It's the apocalypse already worked into the canon source. It makes sense the threat would amplified in this setting, far more than the other apocalypses.

It generally implies a few thousand dead people, so yes, it matters. Those could be our future subjects!

You miss the point. That bit is suppose to prick her pride.

The give up bit for pride pricking is good, just the methology that results in another corpse for the others seems like poor advice :).

Maybe add in a sarcastic "just make sure to have your clan find you very soon after so they can burn and scatter your corpse before it gets back up to find them"

@Artemis1992 remember the eldritch horrors Viserys saw when we revivified the Other cleric?

Pretty sure the White Walkers arent a fae court of winter. Atleast not a normal one...

I continue to contest that pragmatic lawful good, and pragmatic lawful evil are nearly indistinguishable when viewed solely by their outcomes.

Don't worry about hidden Good in there. I'm merely of the strong conviction that the little gears spin much smoother when motivated with something else then a whip.

Which is proof that you are more likely LN, and not Evil. Evil causes suffering for its own sake. You just have a tendency to use too much Baatzul vocabulary.

Relath is LN because Brine Dragons want to rule.

But you see, "getting drunk and sleeping in the snow" is essentially how cowards or broken people chose to go. It's there precisely because it's relatable.

Why slit your wrists when you can just not go home after you've drowned your sorrows? Just not get up after you've stumbled on the road? You'd be warmed by the alcohol, the snow is soft and your lies heavy. Just close your eyes, and the pain goes away.

Not really, Evil = Suffering is a brand of evil. Not the.

A LE King might be the best ruler in the world if his ambition is "I want to rule over the greatest kingdom and be remembered as such".
