[X] You will grant him a place in the Scholarum of Mantarys with a new name that is not Lannister.
-[X] Cogently point out that Tywin has already made that name into a byword for many unpleasant things, but 'folly' foremost among them. You don't particularly care what name he chooses, it can be as grandiose as he wishes, but he should try not to remind everyone he was a Lannister. He is unlikely to turn back the clock on that even if he worked at it for a thousand years (mostly because it is obvious that Viserys is deadset on ensuring no one makes any progress on it). At the very least, in Mantarys no one knows Tyrion, or really cares for his background. Most of them will care more for his skill with magic or the quickness of his mind.
--[X] To engender a bit more good will, offer the work of your Fleshcrafters. Bodily deformities do get around in Mantarys, but it would wipe away the last physical reminder of his past for him to no longer be a dwarf.
-[X] Like all former Lannisters with the power, finances or connections to become a problem, the Inquisition will monitor him and take necessary steps to ensure the stability of the realm if necessary.

I'm kind of reluctant to let him acquire additional magical, financial, or political power given his beef with us and letting him go free would be worse.

I don't think he's done enough to warrant immediate execution (beyond being an enemy of the state anyway) so mandatory rustication in a carefully monitored manor is as far as I think we should go.

I get that he has some useful skills, but we have other options so I don't see why we should even bother with the risk when we can instead raise up plenty of wizards directly that don't have an built in reason to hate us.

[X] A quiet retirement to a small manor house staffed with and monitored by inquisition agents.
-[X] Have a jailer's and prisoner's ring pair made as per a Dungeon Ring set, to be used to monitor Tyrion by his handlers.
I don't want to invest that much manpower into continually monitoring Tyrion.

If we're going to monitor him closely, we can grow him a new body with a Lesser Mark of Greed etched onto the inner surface of his skull after preserving a good-sized blood sample for future ritual purposes, should it prove necessary.

A bit heavy-handed, but it might be prudent to be specific about watching him.

[X] A place in the Scholarium of Mantarys as Tyrion Hill.

I don't particularly care about how we treat the rest of the Lannisters, since we are executing all the problematic ones or have already killed them, but Tyrion is the last one who probably has the destiny for greatness around him.

Might be better to simply encourage him to remake himself from the ground up (and help that along).

Added this.

[X] Crake

Fair enough. Though I'm suspecting he won't like the offer to get his dwarfism fixed. Might be better to just offer him a health check up, which gives him an excuse to ask for himself.

We're killing a lot of his family and friends, the organization he worked for, the society he's familiar with, and then dragging the survivors' names through the mud. I don't know if he'll have the guts to go after us, but I don't expect him to ever really be on our side.

Bribing him then letting him go off to continue his magical education on the theory that his grudge won't come up again or be exploited by external powers seems like wishful thinking to me.

---[X] make Tyrion the guardian of the remaining Lanister family members and have them moved with him to Mantarys including the incest spawn this will act as another chain around Tyrions neck as he would be responsible for his family's welfare discouraging him from taking risks like adventuring or rebellion while masking it as a kindness while also conveniently removing the Lanister Royal bastards from play since they will be in a city ruled by angles in the opposite end of the empire as far from Westeros and those who could use them as we can put them while being within our power (plan make Joffrey paladin of lawful good is a go)

I feel like, if we do that, he's going to end up either struggling to care for them, or struggling in the Scholarum. Although it does sound like a good plan.

Didn't he also have a girl he loved that died on him?

Might want to keep an eye on that, if he's anything like his dad someone might use that fact as a lever.

We intend to spread the remaining Lannisters out, not give someone more leverage by concentrating them.

It already started by letting the Warlocks of Qarth have Myrcella.

@Crake, might be a good moment to sort ot Joffrey and Tommen. I'm in favor of Brune and Braavos respectively. Royce already got gifted a dragonrider for a vassal.

[X] Arrange to have Tommen fostered in Braavos at the Sealord's Palace, learning useful skills that will serve him later in life.

[X] Arrange to have Joffrey fostered with Yohn Royce in Runestone, learning how to be a Knight with such wild notions as... protecting the weak and helpless... holding to ones vows... not betraying their liege lord. After witnessing the Kingsguard, you'd rather bet on a proven model.

He has so many other levers this one is probably the least likely of them to get pulled. Why bother attempting to bribe him when you could instead convince him to flip based on spite?
I mean we're fixing that by giving him a comfortable life outside of politics. If he had any love for the family name it certainly wasn't for his dear old dad, and his still living niece and nephews are guaranteed safety.

Hell for that last bit we're making damn sure of it cause I'd bet money Cersei's gonna come back to haunt us like last night's Taco Bell dinner.

Oh yeah, she's getting the Tor treatment from her Goddess.

Because Gods aren't very creative.

It should be noted you guys already decided to send his niece to Quarth on the word of a mage of elder days dark and fel, not that he is likely to have had much contact with her until now. She is rather young and Cersei was not the sort to let her children near dear old uncle Tyrion.

We still hurt him and people he cared about deeply, not going as far as we could have on the survivors is unlike to win us any points. Letting him into the Scholarum means he's either learning, teaching, researching, or regulating the use of magic. Depending on what exactly he does and has access to an external agent exploiting his hatred of us to abuse his access could be a problem.

Perhaps not a large one, but I wouldn't be completely surprised if a clever devil used him to corrupt a class of freshmen or goad some researchers into summoning up things they can't put down.

Being sent to the Scholarium doesn't mean he will get any leadership position. We are pretty much exiling him to Mantarys.
