@Azel Seeing as how I am feeling very much like the Treasury Department when eyeing up that Turtle ship for the chopping block (each one is worth over 4.5 million IM as scrap), how much admantine will Yrten need to deck out his ship? Can we just use hardened adamantine-steel alloy? It's what the Efreeti do. And the Golden Wind IIRC seems like a large sailing ship, like around the size of the Queen Rhaella, if that helps?
It's more a case of how much we are willing to give them. I'm pretty sure we could reinforce the whole hull a few inches thick if we wanted, but it would hardly be economic to do so.

I'd suggest to use... 1 metric ton of adamantine and otherwise reinforce the hull with the usual hardened lead-steel composite we use for our airforce.
The Sword and Shield Ships can fly, but the Turtle Ships are naval vessels which float on the oil of the Burning Sea.

I'm not sure if the Golden Wind is worth sheathing in that much Adamantine, or if it would even be worth it from a performance standpoint. If the ship wasn't built for it, that much additional weight could play havoc with its speed and maneuverability. I was thinking of adding discrete Adamantine armor paneling within the ship, along with structural reinforcements, to increase its resilience without impacting flight performance or making it appear uparmored. Not being an obvious warship probably helps Yrten in a lot of extraplanar ports of call.
Note that the Golden Wind can't fly. It's a ship-ship, not a flying ship.
This confusion is why I keep naming our assets "AG-Vessels" instead of "ship".
Sword and shield ships cannot fly normally, I can say that much even at this hour, you can make versions that harness elementals to do so like what you guys faced over Valyria but it's not standard.
Alright. Then I'd say assigning the Sword Ships to Yrten would make the most sense.

I thought they could all fly on the Plane of Fire, but not always on other Planes?
I think you are confusing this with the battle we had with them on the Plane of Air, where everything flies by definition.

So for the salamander noble, would using a Dungeon Ring set come off as too hostile? It works by linking a cheap prisoner's ring to a more expensive jailer's ring. The person wearing jailer's ring knows the condition of everyone wearing an attuned prisoner's ring as if they had a constant Status spell on them. The prisoner's ring requires either the person with the jailer's ring to take it off of the target, or for remove curse/a wish variant to be cast on them.

It's meant for prisons, but it works great for bodyguards as well. It's not particularly exotic either, so we might be able to just buy some instead of crafting them.

I've got to agree here. For a ship like the Golden Wind, much like many other pirate vessels, its greatest asset is maneuverability. Plating it with adamantine would make it quite a bit slower.

Also I really just want that money. So much money.
Alright. Then I'd say assigning the Sword Ships to Yrten would make the most sense.
If they can't fly then we may as well give them to him, yeah. Sword Ships aren't even particularly valuable as salvage.

I was wrong about the other ships, but the Golden Wind can definitely fly. We've seen several instances of it on the Plane of Fire. We've confirmed it cannot do it on the Material Plane, though.

[X] Offer to foster her son in Sorcerers Deep
-[X] Meet personally as a sign of respect to hash out the terms, namely what we should teach her heir and if there are any things we need to look out for. This meeting will also be used to ensure that there are no diplomatic misunderstandings due to our different cultures.
--[X] If Viserys thinks it's possible she might accept, offer her a trip to SD to show her around, including a visit to Everfire Ironworks and the construction berth of the Dauntless to show off what your realm can achieve.
-[X] Also offer her the sale of minor, non-soulforged undead, who can be used to beef up her defenses, especially against infiltrators. We would also offer other assets, but these are the only ones for which her own people can guarantee that they come with no hidden agendas or other surprises.
-[X] Security detail wise, assign a Black Champion guarding him 24/7, and at least one Erinyes and a Vigilant Hunter guarding his home and accompanying him when he is out and about. Also, light Inquisition spying and regular House of Mirrors check-ups.

[X] Also offer Yrten to bring the Golden Wind to Sorcerers Deep for cheaper repairs and a refit.
-[X] Unless the damage to the ship is so extensive that it requires a Memory of Form treatment for 2,000 IM, the dry-dock of SD should be able to fully repair it with not additional cost beyond replacement materials.
-[X] Also offer him the following refits:
--[X] Improving the armor of the hull with the hardened lead-steel composite used in AG-Vessel hulls.
--[X] Armoring critical parts of the ship with 1 ton of Adamantine that you will get from the scrapped Shield Ship.
--[X] Adding one Brilliant Barrier system and a Entropic Shield figurehead to the ship.
-[X] Lastly, you will give him command of the 5 Sword Ships that the Shaitan have refitted for you, and the 2 new Sword Ships too once their refits are done.

Yrten's fleet grows! With growing unrest in the Plane of Fire, more and more pirates and privateers will flock to his banner.

We've got a way with pirates and criminals of all stripes, I love it.

Random brain-fart for a non-canon Omake:
A group of Ironborn raiders who had heard about Damphair has recently established himself in Torturers Deep and wish to join him. On their voyage though, they pissed off a powerful Nereid, who gave their ships a little detour through a storm that temporarily displaced them. They arrive in the current Sorcerers Deep, and being not the brightest bunch, decide that this rich looking city without walls they stumbled upon looks ready to be plundered.

Those poor, poor Ironborn.

That's a contender with that random shadow monster that spawned in the Shadow Tower as the unluckiest people ever.

That sounds like it would make for great MirrorVision.

Who would be the most humiliating SD resident for them to lose to? Alinor?

It would be a major miracle if they manage to reach the shoreline, let alone anywhere near something or someone important.
Watch the Tritons in the Undersea District somehow get wind of hostile Drowned God worshipers approaching and swarm them before they even reach the docks.
