Unfortunately we are going to have to leave things at two updates for today guys. It's past midnight and the next update is going to be pretty complicated to write more so than I feel up to this late.
This is the first time we've ever asked Zathir to aid us like this. I wouldn't want to make a habit of it, but this is a good opportunity. Not only can he be really helpful, but it gets him a lot of good PR among our forces and our Undead allies.[X] Goldfish
Using divine mojo all the time cheapens it. I'd prefer if we didn't use that now.
Honestly at this point we need him more powerful, not more in our debt. This is the first time we've ever asked Zathir to aid us like this. I wonder if basically restoring an entire civilization by converting eligible Sarnori Undead into Warforged, an unprecedented endeavor as far as we know, would be the kind of innovation and good deed that would earn more Favor from Zathir?
I don't see it as bringing him more into our debt, but rather contributing to the growth of his power so that he can do more with less effort.Honestly at this point we need him more powerful, not more in our debt.
I see your Stormbringer song and raise you a song about Stormbringer.
This will certainly make him more well known. Respected as well.I don't see it as bringing him more into our debt, but rather contributing to the growth of his power so that he can do more with less effort.
So that @Goldfish can figure out what to craft for her, can we get statistics/levels for the Drow lady, @DragonParadox?
Now she must re-dedicate to a concept! She is currently that most dreaded of PC classes ex-Cleric 8. No spells, no class abilities, but she does get to keep her skills.
I think we might want to encourage her to sign her up for remedial Scholarium classes while she god shops, or works on going Ur-Priest.She is currently that most dreaded of PC classes ex-Cleric 8. No spells, no class abilities, but she does get to keep her skills.
I would not have guessed that by meeting her.She is currently that most dreaded of PC classes ex-Cleric 8. No spells, no class abilities, but she does get to keep her skills.
She could be the first Cleric to gain spells from Viserys! He might have his 4th Mythic tier by the time she regains the ability to cast 4th level spells.
She was a Drow Cleric of Lolth. If nothing else, she's still got the attitude.I would not have guessed that by meeting her.
She still walks and talks like a certified badass. So shes got strong nerves.

Too bad Viserys' Threnodic Metamagic Rod maxes out at 6th level spells. If it was a Greater Rod, he could Wild Arcana a Threnodic Lost Locale spell on the entire city of Gornath. That would really confuse them.So how do you guys feel about applying a healthy number of threnodic Lost Passage spells and just going around them?
Let's commission the Greater version when we have the chance?Too bad Viserys' Threnodic Metamagic Rod maxes out at 6th level spells. If it was a Greater Rod, he could Wild Arcana a Threnodic Lost Locale spell on the entire city of Gornath. That would really confuse them.
I'm as big a fan of SotD as anyone, but it isn't really the right tool to use in this situation. Although it has a large AoE, it's still pretty small when compared to a magical cloud which is large enough to blanket a city and be easily seen from 60 km away. While we could try to find an important spot to target with SotD, it would be guesswork at best and would require that we get much closer than I would prefer.[X] Goldfish
Do so we care about leaving anything in that storm cloud in one piece? If not, couldn't we just use a mythic SotD to say hello to our new traveling companions? We don't know what sort of protections the storm offers, if any, but the current plan spends an awful lot of resources removing it.
It'd work, but if we can disrupt the storm by sticking most of the opposing force into the Valyrian answer to the easy bake oven we could get more out of the same resources.
