I'm wary of scouting this phenomenon ourselves, but what if we did the following:

Cast Ancestral Awakening (to learn Sudden Widen) > Moment of Greatness + Dany Dreamcasting an Encouraging Harmonic Chorus spell on Viserys (+2 caster level) > Maximized Time Stop > Greater Teleport (to Gornath) > Blood Wish a Spell Enhancer spell > Wild Arcana a Sudden Widened Control Weather (set to calm weather) as a Standard Action while canceling Moment of Greatness (4 mile radius, 30th caster level or 34th to resist Dispelling) > Greater Teleport (back to our forces)

A Control Weather spell cast at 30th level by a Mythic Dragon Sorcerer should have some effect.

@Goldfish, add having Zathir on-call in case we fail or fuck up beyond recognition, and this should de golden.

Here's what I've got so far. Suggestions?

[X] Plan Stormbreaker
-[X] Viserys will cast Moment of Greatness, then Ancestral Awakening in order to learn the Sudden Widen feat.
--[X] Dany will use her Encouraging Metamagic Rod in conjunction with casting a Harmonic Chorus spell on Viserys to raise his caster level by +3.
---[X] Viserys will then uses his Maximize Metamagic Rod to cast a Maximized Time Stop, freezing time for 5 rounds.
----[X] While Time Stop is in effect, he will:
-----[X] Cast Greater Teleport to travel close to Gornath [not necessarily above the city proper or to the epicenter of the strange cloud formation, but close enough for the Control Weather effect to overlap with room to spare] (round 1)
-----[X] Blood Wish a Spell Enhancer spell on himself to increase his caster level by +2 for his next spell (round 2)
-----[X] Use Wild Arcana to cast a Widened Control Weather [set to calm weather to its natural state] spell with a 4-mile radius as a Standard Action while canceling his Moment of Greatness spell [doubling the effect of Harmonic Chorus and raising Control Weather to 30th caster level, or 34th to resist Dispelling] (round 3)
-----[X] Greater Teleport back to the Legion's location (round 4)
-----[X] Upon arrival, use Miracle to cast a Wandering Weather spell [set to calm weather to its natural state].
-[X] SPECIAL: If Zathir is willing, ask that he accompany us and simultaneously cast a Control Weather spell in unison with our own in hopes of the combined power being more effective in dispersing the cloud formation and the magic linked to it. If he agrees, we will cast a Mythic Time Stop spell, allowing us to bring him along with us.

OK, here's the army sheet. Not quite complete, I still need to work out the elephant units, the giant guards and the queen, but it's getting really late again so I figured it's best to post what I have tonight an finish off in the morning

I'm not adverse to asking for a Divine boost for my plan, but I'm not sure how to go about accomplishing that or what effect we would expect it to have.

@DragonParadox? Is it possible? What would be required and what could Zathir do to assist?

Boosting Viserys' CL is not something Zathir can do, you are not his priest, that said he can bast the same spell at the same time in the hope of harmonizing effects.

Would he have to be present alongside us, or could he do it from the Legion's location? And how much favor would that cost us?

Zathir works off of favor that renews on a monthly basis. We've mostly been using it to boost our research and our social projects, but we should have a good stockpile to ask for aid in battle.

We haven't used his FAvor for 2 months now, iirc.
So we should have a bit of a stockpile.
