While I like zombie shark guards with lasers on their heads as much as the next poster, wouldn't some of our Advanced Plant-Imbued Giant Hippocampi and maybe some Advanced Druid Creature Seaweed Leshies be an easier sell and effective enough against the opposition they will face here?

Also this way we can keep the undead in reserve so that the first time the deep ones see them it will be a big surprise that we can make the most of, rather than a throw away force that are not serving a critical function.

I think it's wishful thinking at best for them not to have noticed the undead. They'd have definitely been keeping an eye on the Forges.

Okay, here's what we have available to assign, not counting Mind Dragons which have other places to be and servitors assigned to places like Heart Trees, the Scholarium, etc.
Heavy Duty Servitors:
Special Forces Servitors:
Fungal Constructs:
Aquatic Forces:
I think something like this, in addition to some simple equipment for Hewett's men, is a good taskforce. Most of these are either fully aquatic, or can easily hide in plain sight, like the Shadow Cats and Verdant Ravens/Kingfishers. Great for defending against attacks from the sea while being more than adequate on land, and the Cats and Birds can would be several sets of eyes and ears for Hewett.

@Azel, did you want to add some Undead stuff?

1 Grand Dragon Turtle (CR 15)
1 Seawyrm (CR 15)
2 Shadebreacher Sperm Whale (CR 12)
2 Advanced Plant-Imbued Druid Creature Orca (CR 10, 9 HD)
2 Kelp Golems (Reskinned Aquatic Pumpkin Golem) (CR 8, 8 HD)
5 Advanced Plant-Imbued Orca (CR 8)
10 Advanced Plant-Imbued Giant Hippocampus (CR 6, 2 HD)
2 Plant-Imbued Shadow Creature Cat (w/+4 Racial HD) (CR 6, 6 HD)
2 Verdant Raven [Advanced Plant-Imbued Giant Raven (w/+4 Racial HD)] (CR 6, 6 HD)
20 Verdant Kingfisher (CR 2, 2 HD)

How do we do it though that the Illithids won't consider it as breaking truce?

I say hired mercenaries from the Opaline Vault/Armun Kelisk/the Emirate we are allied with would be a good solution.
Honestly at this point the Truce isn't worth either side wiping their asses with.

It's been poked, prodded, circumvented, rule's lawyered, and all but openly broken.

It's purpose was to give us time to build our armies, both sides knew that from the start. It's why the squids are actively trying to steal a god to turn into an attack dog and why the first discussion we had right after signing the treaty was creating a bomb crafted from the still living brains of Illithid-lifeforms to literally psychically poison their entire species with the magical equivalent of psionic anthrax.

Us saying "Fuck it, Shark." will probably be countered by them saying "Fuck it, Fishmen." and both sides going "What crimes against nature? Those have always been there, nothing to do with us, we have a treaty remember."

...ugh, I'm just not waiting for the moment I'll have to compile the "who's assigned where" list of the forces.
That shit will be annoying as fuuuuuuuuuuuck.

I've largely gazed over the stuff in the latest chapters on the behest of Danelle and the residual salt.
Do we actually plan to do anything proactively against the Squids anywhere soon? @everyone?
I.e., should I pen in something else in the preliminary turnplan?

I'm keeping track of where we assign Forge servitors on the Forge Mechanics page.

Last time this was actually a rebellion amidst the deep ones.

We sort of did them a favor by crimping down on it.

And that's appreciated as is, but we have a fuckload of people we only occasionally remember about.

Rhango's tribe. Tritons. Inquisitorial assets (glass golems mostly, but after the GC there are much fewer of them, iirc. What were the losses..?), turned fiends (most with Rhango, but few Yaenits are at Yss' place), turned celestial (some from Hellven, some from Mantarys) some plants ordered awhile ago got forgotten, as I dug up recently.
Riz'Neth's place is all but forgotten.

Who's guarding what forge is not immediately clear, because we had like 4 separate votes for assigning guards to them.

Etc etc etc.
And that's before we remember that we have Minions (I.e. PCs who are below Companion-grade), who are just... all over the place in the main page and are too hard to remember about otherwise.

The next month's (preliminary) forge-order of several millions IM is already fairly well-structured around "who's guarding what" so it will be easier for me to compile everything together staring with it.

We lost five Glass Golems against the Golden Company. Those are tracked on the Armory page in the Construct section.

Don't forget to vote, ya'll.

Hopefully @Azel will get me a list of Undead servitors to add to the plan.

[X] Goldfish
All of these reinforcements should give a good idea to neutral lords how well we protect our allies, if we are doing this for a small Provence.

- 3x Necro-Kraken with Blood Clot Molds
- 3x Aquatic, Lead-Clad Black Brute with Greater Blood Clot Mold as the Krakens riders
- as many Bloodsharks and Lead-Clad Greater Bloodsharks with Blood Clot Molds as we have corpses for (@DragonParadox?)
- 20 units with each
-- 20 spitter swarms
-- 1 Lead-Clad Black Knight with Necrotic Mold

Aquatic forces are for maximum murder, while the spitter / Black Knight units will guard the shore. Generous lead cladding to fuck with divination.

"..."

This is a horrifying sentence I never thought I would ever hear.

Will the Mold... talk? Whilst using the Kraken as a vessel? How would it feel to be inside that hulking mass of muscles and vitrol.
It should be able to squeeze air in and out of the Krakens maw to make vague talking noises if it wants. Would probably be very stilted and sound horrible, but the Kraken is not exactly made to be a diplomat.

Necrotic Mold Kraken: "I am afraid I am not authorized to move any further from the terms currently offered. That belongs to a Higher Authority."

Mind Flayer Mage: "This must be some kind of jest! You waxed poetic for thirty turnings of the moon about how you would stack our skulls so high that the Ghiscari would tremble."

NM!Kraken: "What did you expect? I'm a betantacled death machine."

MF!Mage: "Oh... right."

NM!Kraken: "You really backed yourselves into a corner, there."
