You can send two people as reinforcements (even that is streaching it with all the the actions interupted once already to fight the Golden Company). No Moonchaser or wyverns though, it would take too long for them to get into position since there are no landmarks to aim the wheel of far travel on. There is a reason why ships that are capable of plansshift actually sail the sea of fire rather than skipping though some foreign plane for cheap teleport.
Oops, just saw this. Editing my plan now.

Any two Companions available would be prudent to send up here. I'm pretty suspicious of the "unknown heroes" thing.

Well I mean, technically speaking if the fight takes multiple hours, A) The Moonchaser can launch itself within 500 miles of any fixed point in the area. And B) It can travel that distance within an hour.

True, you guys could call for it and wait, though the closest fixed landmark is itself about 150 miles away, before factoring in the error margin.

Indeed. Also as the Moonchaser is currently on the plane of water the translation event itself might be noted by some of the locals.
Well, making a relay jump over the PoB wouldn't be out of question. Given the temperature and pressure difference, it pretty much needs to be done to avoid doing unpleasant things to the hull.

Though PoF -> PoW would be a lot worse.

True. I had not thought about that. The translation should not be too loud then, going at supersonic speed though is not subtle.

Extreme case of Vitrification?
No, the hull isn't melting thanks to some enchantments, but it's definitely heating up to some degree.

Hot metal dumped into water gets you flash boiling and the metal warping from temperature shock. Add to that the pressure of the PoW and you might see leaks or even hull breaches.

Better to only jump into and from the PoW by using the oceans of Planetos. That ensures a better transition.

My plan calls for sending Rina and Vee because they're both extremely good at ruining Efreeti days. Rina can use her Blizzard spell to great effect, plus her Bloodsnow and Fell Drain Boreal Winds spells are devastating in almost any circumstances, but against Efreeti and other denizens of the Plane of Fire they are absolute murder. Vee can put dozens of Orglash Air or Storm Elementals into play, which can use their Cone of Cold SLAs to sweep the decks of Efreeti ships while also serving as expendable targets for enemy weapon and spell fire.

also XP!!

Assuming they do not sink into the literally endless depths you guys can loot them yes.
We need to assign a few Gigantean Constrictor, to lurking a mile or so below the oil for such battles in the future, that way they can catch any sinking ships, swallow them, and regurgitate them later.

Or maybe Gigantean squids, with all those arms, they would be good at grabbing anything that sink, and we could have smaller squids with them, who grab smaller things such as dropped weapons, or corpses that fell overboard.

Ships are massively larger then Colossal. This plan wasn't workable the last time you proposed it and it isn't now either.

Then we just need multiple creatures to grab the ships, they might not be able to swallow them, but they can keep them from sinking.

Or we can try to make small creatures, that specialize in surviving deep down in the Fire Sea, that latch on to the sunken ships, and then act as teleport beacons, so we can find the ships no matter how deep they sink.

Sending down tracking beacons sounds more useful, but the PoF sea has no bottom. The ship will just keep sinking until it drops out of the sky.
