Mostly because constricting mean that after the ship is dragged underoil, it wont sink, which mean the loot wont be lost.
Ahh loot preservation...carry on.

It's a secondary objective of course, but I would prefer for those Whalers loot, not to end up lost to the bottomless sea of flame.
So do I have support for my plan to make pod guardian teams consisting of, 1 Anaconda, 5 burning bloodsharks, and 1 of Goldfish's Dolphins?
We still need to finalize the Anaconda of course, but I would like to know if people even like my plans for what creatures to use, before I keep on refining it.
Edit. Actually we should probably replace at least some of the Bloodsharks with further Dolphins, I just noted that Dolphins are social creatures, I doubt they will like being the only Dolphin around.
Nice to know I have support.I like it. We get a passive source of income from them and any ships that we might be able to just take. I am in support of it.
Anacondas are not great combatants, IMO. Your defense strategy shouldn't revolve around constricting or capsizing an enemy ship. That just leaves you ill-prepared when whalers in flying ships show up. If you can wait until after I get home, I'll try to come up with something more useful for you.So do I have support for my plan to make pod guardian teams consisting of, 1 Anaconda, 5 burning bloodsharks, and 1 of Goldfish's Dolphins?

Oh Bloodsharks are undead, I'm not sure what to think about that, on one hand it mean I can redo my calculations all over again, as with how much cheaper undeads are to make, it would be robbery to charge full price for them(we can make 5 Bloodsharks, for the cost of 1 living CR10 creature) on the other hand I'm not sure if the Fire Whales are okay with undead.
If you can come up with something better then certainly, it's not like we need to have this today anyway so no rush, and if you say the Snapdragon Leshys are better, then I will believe you.Anacondas are not great combatants, IMO. @Azel suggested a better alternative to the Dolphins, too, which I agree with. Sorcerer Creature Half-Dragon Snapdragon Leshys with some extra HD added are really good CR 10 options.
They're basically armor-plated tanks. They don't really resemble your typical undead.Oh Bloodsharks are undead, I'm not sure what to think about that, on one hand it mean I can redo my calculations all over again, as with how much cheaper undeads are to make, it would be robbery to charge full price for them(we can make 5 Bloodsharks, for the cost of 1 living CR10 creature) on the other hand I'm not sure if the Fire Whales are okay with undead.
Yeah still we need to sound the Fire Whales out, they're rich enough that they can afford being picky, so if they don't want undead we can get them something else, it will just cost more. They're basically armor-plated tanks. They don't really resemble your typical undead.
IMO a regular necromancer's work is basically like desecrating the grave of someone without permission and sticking a leaky nuclear reactor onto it to top it all off and then insisting that everyone everywhere should also run on nuclear reactors because nuclear power is AWESOME.Yeah still we need to sound the Fire Whales out, they're rich enough that they can afford being picky, so if they don't want undead we can get them something else, it will just cost more.
Yeah and we should certainly propose the Bloodsharks to the Fire Whales, and tell them how safe they are compared to normal undeads, but the customer is always right(when it come to choosing what to buy at least) so if they don't want undead guardians, they will just have to pay for living guardians.IMO a regular necromancer's work is basically like desecrating the grave of someone without permission and sticking a leaky nuclear reactor onto it to top it all off and then insisting that everyone everywhere should also run on nuclear reactors because nuclear power is AWESOME.
Our Necrocrafts/Soulforged Undead are basically production models not thrown together by an deranged idiot, and though there's a nuclear reactor inside it isn't leaking all that delicious radiation everywhere, and we also don't insist nuclear power is better (it's just cheap in large amounts).
I'm sure some people *cough* might disagree with that assessment but since when did we care for their opinions?![]()
They're low INT creatures yes, but they're high WIS creatures, so they might very well be philosophical, although being Plane of Fire Native nomads, they might have no hangups about undead, simply because they have never encountered undeads.@tarrangar, the Burning Bloodsharks would cost 1,035 IM a piece to create.
Also, aren't Firewhales INT 7 or so? I don't see them having huge philosophical hangups about undead.
Sound good, though we might as well add a few low CR looters to things, there's no sense in just letting perfectly good loot sink.@tarrangar, how about this;
Cetacean, Orca (Killer Whale) – d20PFSRD

Orca's are CR 5, 9 HD.
Add +12 Racial HD to push it to 9 CR, then apply the Advanced, Half-Dragon, and Sorcerer Creature templates to round it off at CR 15.
That'll put them at 15th caster level with 7th level spell casting. They wouldn't need the Snapdragon, just a school of Burning Bloodsharks.
I intend to have us order some Druid Creature versions for our aquatic forces.
Rhaegar was right, but that doesn't mean he wasn't crazy.
Imagine that.
