People have been worried about that happening for ages. So long as Tywin feels like he's got a chance with his own mages we'll be fine, he's too proud to rely solely on others, and allying with Devils would lead to him losing his best mages for sure.

Tywin's just the wrong thread to pull. Too predictable, and also requires too much pandering to. Tywin relies for his deals with mortals on the idea that he can just murder anyone who betrays him, and by now he certainly knows he can't do that to something as big as an Archduke of Hell. So he'll just mistrust any offers and in general require way too much winning over.
I'd expect Asmodeus to arrange for the Efreeti to pay us closer attention and keep us distracted while he gets to work on subverting our minions and people directly.
I'm with @Crake on the Summoning issue for now, @egoo. Nothing says we can't keep collecting the names of Asmodeus' Devil's, but we should definitely hold off on using them until we are well and truly at war with him. We are far from that point, though.

I'm also thinking of assigning 2-4 Vinespawn as VIP retrievers, whether that be enemies or allies, this works because their engulf ability is non-lethal damage with the option not to inflict it at all.
The Vinespawn are unnaturally fast and can cover any terrain they are likely to face much faster than even the swiftest of non-teleport options available making them very very good at this role.
@DragonParadox By the way... so I expect with a GIANT display of rainbow technicolor in the sky is causing a bit of religious hysteria across Westeros, right?
The question is, do people take it as a sign of divine favor for Viserys since it came from the East?

There is going to be some kind of reaction in that vein certainly. One thing to note is that it is not immediately obvious it came from the east. The whole sky just suddenly became one giant rainbow. It's only by comparing how long it lasted on an east-west axis that the picture becomes clear. That said rumors about Zathir will be making landfall with the next ships across the Narrow sea so who knows what the effect will be.
Anyway vote closed.

When Zathir became Zathir, he said he'd take the name as long as serving as Yss' herald. IIRC. Will he claim his true name, now that he's again a true god? Would also be a declaration.

His old name also encompassed memories and aspects of his being that he had to sacrifice. He will likely remain Zathir though his clerics will know who he once was.

As you all take a seat upon the flat pieces of limestone set up as crude benches around the largest hearth in the camp you are greeted by faces both familiar and strange. There is Ser Benjicot, weathered but unbowed as he was that day three months ago in the Golden Hearth, and Tom of Sevenstreams, missing his lyre perhaps though not the sharp wit in his eye. The sorcerer Gaemon by contrast seems fascinated by one sight in particular, Rina's face, and from the blush that steals over his expression when she catches him at it you doubt it had anything to do with magic.
Nor is he the only mage present, the young woman besides him makes for odd contrast between the kind shy smile and the fact that she is the only one visibly wearing shaitan forged plate hardy enough to withstand a giant's blows. This then must be Masie, the one whose healing had kept so many of the Lads whole and hale, you guess even before she introduces herself.
Young Derrick Rivers passes around clay mugs filled with a fair red wine and plates of fresh cooked venison. The stag, Tom tells you, they had hunted with Lord Darry's blessing, and the wine they had bought at the Crossing, Walder Frey being more than happy to exchange the fruits of raids for the small comforts one cannot find camping out in the woods. "The Old Weasel's get was almost halfhearted in trying to cheat us out of the bargain, he must be in a right good mood," the singer finishes, earning a brief exasperated look from Ser Benjicot while the rest of the Lads present struggle to contain smiles with Derrick failing the most of all.
"Well then, you will be glad to hear I come bearing gifts, not bargains," you proclaim, allowing your cloak to ripple behind you for a moment before disgorging several chests of supplies, mostly standard Scholarum equipment for the mages, but also some of the supplies the Lads requested be sent by ship this month, and last but certainly not least a chest filled with healing salve for the times when neither Masie nor any other healer is near at hand.
Lost 6,500 IM (Adventurer's Kit and Supplies)
Lost 400 Doses of Healing Salve
The news that you will also be replacing the fallen leshy four times over and adding fifty more lesser incarnate spirits to their ranks is greeted with cheers, though the vine-wrought snatchers are cause for a touch more wariness until you explain that they could just as easily rescue allies as kidnap foes.
After the conversation on flesh-forging the introduction of Alenia and Larmor, two Scholarum graduates who volunteered to reinforce the Lads, seems almost commonplace, which the pair take as a challenge to demonstrate their magic. Thankfully you are able to curb the enthusiasm before either of them tries flinging fire in a forest.
One level 5 Mystic and one level 5 Sorcerer, both newly graduated from the Scholarum
Lost 9,600 IM (Flesh Forge costs)

OOC: I know this is short, but it's getting close to midnight for me so I felt it better to finish up now rather than risk not being able to put up the update until tomorrow.
