Both Mind Blank and Psionic Mind Blank are pierced by Metafaculty, the Third Eye provides a unique defensive capability, if we have to get it made separate to the crown that's fine too.

Metafaculty can defeat spells, powers, and special abilities such as screen or mind blank (or even a wish spell) that normally obscure clairsentience powers.

(however, metafaculty can pierce the protective quality of psionic mind blank)

Edit:
Conceal: While worn, a third eye
conceal hides the wearer from all powers that attempt to view, locate, or otherwise detect the wearer, except for the Clairsentience power metafaculty. But even metafaculty reveals
only the name of the location—not an image,
nor any other information regarding the wearer.
Manifester Level: 12th; Prerequisites: Craft Universal Item, sequester, Market Price: 90,000 gp; Weight: —.
I agree, I really want this on our crown one day.

Where are you getting that description from? It doesn't match the version I'm familiar with, the SRD version, the MiC version, or even the PFSRD version.

Well considering @DragonParadox doesn't think anything should be absolute, I would argue Metafaculty should fall under that too and something should at least blunt it.
I definitely agree with that. I've never liked that Metafaculty could just so easily no-sell what it supposed to be the ultimate defense against Divination, though it's not like you can really spam Metafaculty on a daily basis to track anyone.

Then again, this could spark the worst sort of witch hunt.

Examiner: "This eunuch has testicles!"

Official: "He's a traitor!"

Ha! That's assuming some enterprising lady or two hasn't already snuck in an uncut boy toy or two as an "eunuch" already. (it totally happened quite a few times)

In general the aesthetics of YiTi feel legit to me. Some scholar keeping track of who the Emperor bangs and when, that "casual clothing" is still some heavily embroidered silk shinding, and the general pompous, high flaluting titles all read very Imperial Court to me. There needs to be more descriptions of gold, carved everything everywhere though :p. See the Forbidden City.

Metafaculty is a 9th level discipline power, so only Seers have access to it, which is incredibly limited in numbers anyway, also the "doesn't have absolutes" could count for Mind Blank too so that's not really a good argument.

I think only Elder Brains have the capacity to use those regularly, and even then there's only so many power points you can have per day so burning everything on only one person sounds too much, considering Elder Brains are full of enemies too.

[X] Goldfish

Been very busy memeing with TI9. Who else here watches Esports? The Tournament with the highest overal prize pool has the Grand Finals today. $15M+ for the winners.

@One Autumn Leaf, I don't know why I keep updating you when you have no interest with it, but the live action King's Avatar is awesome for me. They're way past the anime now, gave Ye Xiu closure with his family, made a bunch drama arcs, which can be cringey but resonates well enough with esports fans.

Besides, the opening song is lit.

The Glory we've missed, our pride in the future
Intertwined in the fingers
Ignite the great song of the battlefield
The only light during the long night
Is we who overcame the ordinary
Above the clouds, above the dust

We are the brightest fireflies!

I can't bear to watch ESports, or to follow along with them. Not from lack of interest, but raging jealousy. I was born 15 years too soon.

I used to be the effin' God of Counterstrike 18 years ago, and all that did was get me a really high kill count and accusations of hacking. Nowadays, I could be making millions of dollars...

It sucks to not have the mental energy, time, or reflexes to play those kinds of games anymore, at least not to do it at a competitive level.

Some guy from my country made it to the fifth place in the Fortnite tournament and got 900,000 dollars as a price. Of course, all the media here talked about how he is going to pay 35% in taxes between the US and us. It talks alot about how we think.

I do follow somewhat loosely the Starcraft II ESport scenario.

@Goldfish, with DP's separation of magic and psinics into two distinct, barely-aligned categories, there is a point to be made about having a Psionic Mindblank item on top of our usual one.

The very least that will net us, is a safety net in case of bullshit on par with Bloodstone Emperor's.

Ideally, it would mostly block even that bullshit Psionic spell that passes a Mindblank - or require a far bigger expenditure of power for that anyway.

@Goldfish
Why no Psychoactive Skins?
Most of our crew would profit from them.

JUst a skin of the Defender would give +4 NA to everyone who doesn't have his NA boosted already, so everyone but Viserys.
4 armor for Richard or Lya looks good with no downsides?

@Goldfish, can't we order some items with
THOUGHT SHIELD III
School abjuration; Level psychic 4
This functions as thought shield I, but the circumstance bonus on Will saves to resist mind-affecting effects increases to +8. In addition, any creature that tries to read your thoughts while this spell lasts must succeed at a Will save or be stunned for 1 round. This spell can be undercast.
at will?
The Circumstance bonuses stack with all others and one-another, so this would be of use when we'll move in to hunt Illithids for sure.
Also, more Willsaves to gods of Willsaves.
Fuck you Bloodstone Emps.

The Thought SHield of the source you provided is wildly different in effects, of course
Telepathy [Mind-Affecting]
Level: Psion/wilder 2, psychic warrior 2
Display: Auditory
Manifesting Time: 1 immediate action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 1 round
Power Points: 3

You fortify your mind against intrusions, gaining power resistance 13 against all mind-affecting powers.
You can manifest this power instantly, quickly enough to gain its benefi ts in an emergency. Manifesting the power is an immediate action, like manifesting a quickened power, and it counts toward the normal limit of one quickened power per round. You can use this power even when it's not your turn.
Augment: For every additional power point you spend, this power's duration increases by 1 round, and the power resistance it provides increases by 1 point.

@everyone Great new feat found:

The template is very powerfull, if the spell used is high enough and summoning for 1 Minute per level, rather than round is great anyway.
I really recommend this for Vee's next feat, the granted SLAs in combination with the increased HD and abilities are making this worth it.

The following RA's have been added to the List of Research Actions, under a separate tab "Psionic Research":
[] A Method to Madness: the body the Mind-Eaters crafted for Jeyne with infiltration in mind is an incredible piece of magic wholly unlike anything you've ever seen. Copying it won't be easy, but succeedin promises an ability to flesh-craft similar vessels as needed, granting you an in into mysteries of Psionic powers.
-[] Research into Psionic templates
(Progress: 40, Cost: 200.000 IM)

[] The Heavy Thoughts: The Mindspeak that some creatues wield in this day and age has proven it's utility time and time again - and finding a way to grant ability to use it holds great promise for various fields.
-[] Find a way to evoke ability for Telepathy in those without inante talent for it.
(Progress: 8, Cost: 7500 IM)

[] Mind's shackles, by blood cast off: By following along the secrets of Drow Flesh-crafters, attempt to create something the degenerate blood-drinkers only speculated about in their notes - a creature capable of twisting the reality in same and ways so different to magic Aberrations do - yet not bound to Outer realms.
-[] Adds Vampire, Psychic (CR+2) template, as possible creation in Fleshforge. Requires a functioning Flesh-forge. (Progress: 24, Cost: 26.000 IM)

@Goldfish given Time Hop, are those tattoos essentially scrolls? Otherwise, who is supposed to get them?
No, they're more like potions. Anyone can use them.

Given DP has ruled they would interfere with spellcasting, we should give them to non-casters. Sandor, Bronn, Sharra, Criston, etc.

DP told us they have limited crafting capacity and that the more we ordered the longer it would take to finish. All of the good Psychoactive Skins are expensive.

The Skin of the Defender is 32,000 gp, or 8,000 IM after conversion and markup (6,400 IM before markup, more than a Herald). Again, it's not that we can't afford it, but the time involved.

Also, Lya and Richard, along with just about all of our other people, regularly go into battle with a Barskin or Ironskin spell, which nowadays raises their Natural Armor by +5 or more, so it would be largely superfluous.

I selected a bunch of cheap and useful, but low level stuff which they should be able to craft at a reasonable speed. Maybe if we prove good customers they'll be willing to dedicate more crafting capacity to us in the future?

All that said, I still could have added something to the plan if you had mentioned them before I went to sleep and DP closed the vote.

Pretty sure I linked the version of Thought Shield from the Pathfinder PFSRD, not the crappy 3.5 version, but we're using 3.5 psionics here, which are much, much different than Pathfinder's Psychic Magic. That means the version available to the Githzerai isn't worth our time. Even if it was, it would be extremely expensive (14,112 IM after markup).

Holy crap, that is really neat. Yeah, I'm with you for that to be Vee's next feat. Quite thematically appropriate for her, too.

I wish I was aware of it during her last level up. Might have pushed for that instead of Superior Summoning (though that is a tough choice).

It's on the pfsrd since yesterday, so no chance.

I'm lately just checking out the new pages to look for gems like this and Unquiet Grave.
Ah, I see.

At the bottom of the Guardian Spirit template page I saw that it was from a 2015 book, so I assumed it was just something we had previously overlooked.
