Actually, everyone has been linked via Telepathic Bond for several updates now. :p
Yes, but we didn't even talk to them telepathically. We just... Did things. Perfectly.

You guys should ask the controler, that has to do with a contingency you guys did not engage with.
@Duesal, I expect the controller will ask for payment if we start demanding the ancestral treasures loot of his people.

Most of the ancestral loot of their people can stay with the Serpent Folk. Some of it, however, such as the rest of the pieces to the Greater Rod of Quickening, and all of the loose special materials lying around that serve no other purpose here...that shit is ours.

Of course, if Riz'Neth wishes to sell any of it to us, we wouldn't likely say no.

That's why:
1. We're asking about the contingencies so we're not caught unaware.
2. We're bargaining for everything with Riz'Neth, the acknowledged heir to the city. Riz'Neth's payment for the second half of the Greater Rod of Quickening (something that he has already acknowledged is ours, mind you) is that there's a city for him to inherit at all.

I'm hoping there are thousands of intact eggs. It also wouldn't hurt if there were at least a few dozen stasis'd caretakers, too.

  • [X] Ask questions about the facility
-[X] Before anything else, make sure nothing time-sensitive is being missed (for example, the eggs needing to be secured immediately or something). If we're fine, proceed as follows.
-[X] Ask about every contingency there is, which ones have been triggered, which ones are still dormant, and which ones are no longer valid.
-[X] Get as close to a full map as you can, with what the facility used to look like vs what it is now (with the earthquakes having messed it up)
-[X] Ask where the control tokens for the War Machines are
-[X] Ask what enchantments the three relics in the Armory held (I'm assuming these are the sky-metal relics)
-[X] Ask what sort of lore the library held, and how much of it is still preserved
-[X] Ask how many eggs are in the hatchery, what kinds of eggs there are, and how best to transport and hatch them.
-[X] Ask what Guardians remain, and give Lya leave to question the AI overseer of the Necropolis as insight for perhaps making our own.
--[X] Especially ask about how the AI was made.
-[X] Ask where the second half of the Greater Rod of Quickening is.
-[X] Get the necessary information for what would be needed to restore the city to its full glory when time and resources permit it
-[X] Proceed to loot the armory and library, and negotiate with Riz'Neth how the spoils will be split
--[X] For the armory if we find something interesting we want the option to either buy a relic off of him or trade it for something of equal value. Same with the constructs.
---[X] We would like the second half of the Greater Rod of Quickening as part of our spoils for successfully capturing the Oblivion (Riz'Neth has already acknowledged that it's ours after we defeated Tor). That said, be careful about how this is approached just in case.
--[X] For the library we want to copy it and add it to our own Imperial Library, and in exchange we can make sure Riz'Neth gets a restored copy of every book inside. Same deal we had with the Night's Watch.
-[X] Once looting is done, get to the Hatchery and secure the eggs.

Something for later, but not much later; The Oblivion explicitly eats and pervert divine magic. More, it seemed smarter than the stated 7 Int. We imprisoned such.. With divine magic.

Have no doubt the binding will hold for a while, but would not care to test the 'permanent' duration, or even scant months.

Decide what do with such soon-ish and do it. Sacrifice? Study?

Sacrifice. This thing is going straight to Yss.

It appears that our sentient species conservation efforts are being noted.

Gaining the North a commune of Giants is next up on the list. I'm thinking we could safely settles them in Umberlands, alongside several helpful donations to keep them from starving or freezing. My second thought was to devote a set of Titan's Tools to creating Giant's Lance 2.0. A small Minas Tirith-like tiered city big enough to house ten thousand giants should also ensure they have plenty of room to grow into.

We'll need to carefully consider finding some cattle that can survive in low temperatures... would give them something to trade with the northmen.
