I've added a Dimensional Anchor on the Abishai. Not sure if it will work, though, with the binding in place.
Maybe a Wild Arcana'd Antimagic Ray instead, @TotallyNotEvil?
No, what was decided was to spare and reform cultists when posibile. Nothing so silly as placing their lives above those of ordinary civilians much less companions and friends.

Why not use AMF?
No save, no SR, we and ser richard can definitely take it in melee and Vee and Malarys can probably handle the crowd lone enough for us to mindwipe them.

Proximity is the biggest issue. We would need to get within 10 feet of the Abishai for that to work.
@DragonParadox Is that possible as part of a normal service in the Sept? Does the Septon approach the audience, or vice versa?

Ah damn, AMR has the problem of him being able to deflect it.
However, I got an idea that I think will finally work: Imbue an Invisible Varys with AMF before trigering the Symbol, and have her get close to it.

Use Wild Arcana instead of Blood Wish for the Symbol.
What about using Chain Spell and a Wild Arcana'd Deep Slumber spell?
Any damage inflicted on it outside the AMF will just be spread to the cultists.
Malarys can use Greater Command or Chained Hold Monster on the cultists.
EDIT: Also, Vee and Malarys should use their Beads of Karma.

No can do, too long of a casting time.
Chaining what? You can't chain a Deep Slumber.
Symbol is fantastic, it targets everything with less than 11 HD in 60 ft, they can't be woken up by nonmagical means and lasts forever.

If the Abishai has wards, dispel those, if not, Chain Hold Monster everyone who resists the Symbol?

Hold personing the people who make their saving throw (if there are any) would be good yes. I'm just more concerned about the abishai.
Or both of them at the same time at least.
