"Roland would speak to you Your Grace, but he has neither the power to command the Chosen nor refuse his questions so cannot guarantee that he would hold to keep the peace of any parley Roland might be a part of."

Bwah? I know everyone else has focused on the "Lucan will totes mcgoats break a parley," but the bolded struck me more. It sure sounds like Lucan's felt the need to geas his own fucking summoned angels. I guess maybe The Father sent them. Over pre-geassed? Like holy shit, that's uh something. Man for all the blood sacrifice, at least Viserys let's people disagree with him and they follow him cause his good at making them see how interests intersect....

I fear it not falls to me to counsel caution,
not -> now
Lucan's power turns and so you will break it.
turns, and so you will break it.

son of a bitch's head, now did I?

Viserys does so much dice-y stuff that he pretty much essentially has to let free will reign. People have to essentially be complicit in aiding and abetting his activities, or he won't have any loyal followers.

That's the political angle, obviously, the emotional and rational angle is that people should be able to choose to do good or bad, not just let blind faith in an authority let them auto-pilot through decisions.

So, seems like we can loot more angles to our cause. Well seems like we are going to completely destroy the faith in one fell swoop.

I did, it looks solid. I could even work in that holy idea idea you had as leadership being thematically 'cooler' than battle and having that reflect in Yrael's elemental nature.
I feel a lot more confident thank you :)

However when even TNE says something is too much it's time to step back and re think my decision.

I'll hash out the math for javelin throwing and the spear barrage, and then...

Probably give him what was suggested.

Guys, the way Roland told us about Lucan makes me really really worried he's under geas or some other spell compulsion thing. If that's the case, what if he's been "programmed" to try and nuke Viserys or any of the companions on sight regardless of collateral damage or anything else? Obviously also with a condition that prevents him from telling or knowing about the previous.

If that ends up happening we can default to capturing him and trying to deprogram him.

He's just a mid-level Deva. Unless he keeps a pocket nuke on him at all times, he doesn't have the juice to go against Viserys, Richard and Dany.
