A Hellfish flys again! ( a Simpsons X DVV CK2 Quest)

Bit of a nitpick but I'm fairly certain Ned's a protestant of some description, probably evangelical, not a Catholic? I'm fairly certain he goes to the same church as the Simpsons and like, their priest's married.
In at least one Episode, he was explicitly Protestant, yes. In fact, IIRC, the whole main 'conflict' of that Episode was Bart becoming a Catholic and Flanders and others trying to convert him back.

Western Branch of American Reform Presbylutheranism

The Western Branch of American Reform Presbylutheranism is a Protestant denomination adhered to by most of Springfield's inhabitants. The First Church of Springfield is the primary church in town which holds services of this form of Christianity. The Church was apparently founded by Martin...

In short:
The Springfield Church is a minor Protestant splinter that split off over wanting some consessions, which have since been rescinded again.
"Much ado for nothing", as the saying goes

I don't think people opposed to the Fat Tony pick are going to want to compare him to Janna.

Unless, of course, the argument is that the thread will inevitably not want to do the things that are part of Fat Tony's "upgrade path," while absolutely wanting to do the things in Janna's path.
See, becoming a Crime Boss is good since it prevents anyone else from taking over Organised Crime in Springfield

Tony is a nice all rounder this will help us greatly when dealing with rebuilding plus the black market bonus is always useful.

I wonder if we could recreate tomacco while limiting its lethality stuff sold like hotcakes.

You must certainly gonna have to unlock/recruit Homer first for that to happen. Oh and get lucky on his personals.

Side note, but you guys will either love or hate with all your soul Homer's sheet, there's no in-between with the traits we gave him.
Well that's an idea on the back burner for now oh well plenty of other things to make use of Springfield has plenty of things to exploit utilize.

Just wanted to say love this fic/quest. The Simpsons in VV is brilliant angle can't wait to see how this plays out and hope we'll see more omakes as time goes on.

I'm curious to see when Disney characters will start making their way into Springfield whether as allies or enemies.

Something that came up on the Discord channel for this quest:

Since Entertainment is a definite Sector present in Springfield and since this is a Shadowrun-esque world...

*what if we moved into ADULT ENTERTAINMENT like the burlesque shows found at La Maison Derriere*?

After all, its owner had a silent cameo during the movie´s mob scene iirc, so she should still be around.

Heck, once we grow big enough to prop up her establishment as a nation-wide franchise, theoretically we could try looking for Betty Boop as our official spokesperson for stuff like that (she *was* a sex icon back in the day and would probably at least *consider* such an offer from someone who might have been a fan like old Abe Simpson since times are *lean* for Toons seeking employment other wise)

Sure, SV with its rather draconian rules about lewdness will probably make going into detail pretty hard, but I say we should at least *consider* seizing the opportunity Springfield-born entertainment offers.

...heck, even if going into actual adult entertainment is too much, we still got that *aphrodisiac* Abe cooked up in one episode

let´s be honest, *it can´t be much worse than tomaccos, Flaming Moes/Homers or most of the menu at Krusty Burger*

We will *Eventually need a way for Springfield to make some dough don't wanna put all our eggs in one nuclear powered basket unless we plan to hyperfocus on power production.

As I said on the Discord, I´d prefer bringing the plant up to code and/or move to *fusion* energy before even thinking about expanding our nuclear business past Springfield
But aside from that, with stuff like Krustys "empire", tomaccos, Flaming Homers, Grandpas aphrodisiac and others, I kinda see us gaining roots in the Sectors of Food/Medicine/"Pharmaceuticals"/Restaurants/Retail/(Adult) Entertainment long-term.
So after a bit of growing and stuff, I can definitely see us having our fingers in a *lot* of pies from Springfield stuff alone.

Ah Springfield a basket full of slightly mutated eggs that needs some times to hatch but when we do we shall soar!

It's been a hot minute since I've seen an episode of Simpsons, but if we want to, as they say, diversify our portfolio, Fat Tony or Frink are probably our best bets, though grabbing Apu and making our own line of 24-hour stores could work. Or we could go into farming, recreating the Tomacco would be funny as hell.

All avenues that were and are being considered, pal^^

In order to make the Tomacco we need Homer and he needs to get a high roll on a personal action then we should probably try to reduce its lethality before we start exporting it.
