Will Homura have enough composure to help, or will she give the game away if we drop the bomb to her?
With negotiations? Honestly not sure, probably 70/30 with unhelpful vs helpful? but at the moment we're in a private lobotomy session with 'Kyoko' as far as the others are aware, so Homura joining us without the others would seem extremely odd to them.

As far as combat is concerned, there is the Enchantment hypothesis and the "can Homura's Shield store our pre-summoned weapons" things we haven't tested yet; not that I will be voting for it until it's clear things are unsalvageable.

How long can we /are we willing to spend on NT, though?

E: Not to join us now, that's for sure, but with an eye towards the future. Perhaps to start readying the larger weapons?

Aight. Cause I was wondering if we may eventually vote to give up and start the thunderdome if there's no apparent progress at the beginning (not unlikely at all)

Yes, QM's confirmed it's possible to do without casualties, I just don't want to until we're absolutely certain we can't negotiate. Ideally we thread the needle, but if it's absolutely between getting NT's Help and keeping the soul gems alive with no chance of cleverness, I'm voting to save the magical girls. Either option feels unpleasant to me, but saving the soul gems feels a little less so.

If you mean this post:
Since there has clearly been some failure to properly communicate this on my part, I'll state it clearly here.

Combat with Nothing There is not an instant loss. It is currently significantly weakened in order to maintain its current level of humanity, and will not give that up unless it has absolutely no choice. Nothing There and X are equals physically right now, with the differing factors being X's EGO Gear and support from others against NT's stolen Magic.

Fighting is a viable option as long as you're smart about it.
Then it says it's not a lose condition, not necessarily without casualties, or is it another post?

This is a disaster waiting to happen. Honestly speaking. We might as well drop the Witch Bomb instead of this and it will probably be less of a disaster.
That's fair... But wouldn't it be unsalvageable in the future? With all the feeling of betrayal and stuff.

I already show my support on trying to reveal it to the girls AFTER NT leaves, didn't I?

Damage control is FAR more viable then. No Aleph-tier monster in the room, and no 37 hostages. Just us, the girls, and a substantially horrific truth.

...let's see, what MG-derived abilities has it shown yet? In particular, can it detect Telepathic communication?

Enhanced senses, beams of energy, combat viable shapeshifting, Kyouko's abilities (illusions that we can see through but not the others, and good barriers) , some currently unknown method of stealth to X's senses and some method of imperfectly cleaning up battlefields

37 magical girls.

We don't know. But it's safer to assume that it can.

In fact. X should be the one to convince Nothing There herself that she should leave and let X handle it. That way, we leave the LEAST amount of possibility of the bomb exploding without us knowing about it.

Plus, it will also prevent NT from interfering and worrying about it too. This is one of those Giga-Chesed moments. Those who are Faithful and Trustworthy. We should rely on the trust the girls have for us, and the trust NT has for us.

...can we attempt to talk NT into becoming a Sapling? Might not get the Soul Gems back that way, but at least it's an Aleph down (?)
Wait that won't work until NT finishes whatever else she wanted to do

Pretty sure it's been demonstrated that you can have networks that don't automatically include all other magical girls in the area. Heck, I can't imagine the sheer headache that'd occur if every magical girl in the world was constantly connected all the time forever. Not to mention the different languages since AFAICT it's a global thing, just the show takes place in the one locale.

Still we should avoid it just in case NT has a mind reading magic.

That's not gonna work. For reasons you already said.

To be very fair things would probably have blown up already if NT had a passive one I'm more concerned about NT turning on a similar version or info gathering ability on the girls later out of paranoia or fear (that is , snooping on Telepathy based conversations)

E: could we point out that we may need NT's full strength for Wally to come, perhaps??

Magic requires activation. NT also knows what X can do too though.

Given what she knows, she probably judged that X would react badly to an attempt at mind reading given that X is massively resistant to white damage.

Stop editing because I will miss them.

As for pointing that out...leave that for later. The situations where we can play that card aren't present right now.

Off of a tangent, I've always wondered why MG combat isn't more of a last resort than is already is: If you fight enough, you are bound to eventually hit your hard counter in Wish Magic after all, unless you are an Outside Context Problem already

E: I keep editing because of the double posting rule ;(

"I wish I could understand what others are thinking"/"I want to know what's going on around me" could do it if stretched, and the thing is these aren't 37 random MGs, their most likely 37 powerful MGs, or they wouldn't have managed to migrate over here and get attacked by NT

I highly doubt any of them was like "I wish I could read minds."
They could easily with "I wish no one would ever lie to me anymore."

As for why it would prompt NT to read our minds. Well. For one thing. Fear.

NT is a nervous wreck. And given that X has already shown signs of rejecting her, there's essentially nothing stopping NT from justifying itself. "Maybe not X, but let's read the girl's mind to see if any of them noticed. Just a check."
