Actually. Changing my vote for a bit.
[X] Accept the offer FOR NOW. You lack too much information. NT seems to trust you a lot. Use that trust and gather more information, then you can make a more informed decision. You cannot beat NT in a physical fight but there's nothing stopping you from taking a page out of Hod's book.

Perhaps we could point out that although the Shell regenerates, the MGs are being harmed in the process despite NT's best efforts - the Soul within will eventually die and break things anyway

Okay, this is my final vote. I'm not gonna change it anymore.

Let's use lobotomy as much as we can. I'm not against it at all right now, these girls need some help, god damn.

It's not a good idea but If NT does get violent I honestly don't see how were suppressing her without it and I'm not sure we would survive without going all in you know? NT is an absolute combat monster and I think going in without throwing everything we have at her is a death sentence.

As for the girls hopefully by keeping our shell up a bit but not all the way would help us throw NT from the building, probably through the wall, before They can get hurt in the cross fire.

I think Nothing There is so convincingly human currently by burning through Kazumi's wish magic.
So that may not be a very sustainable state of Affairs currently.

Also this neatly explains how we found "Kyoko" in Kazamino when we later had figured out that Nothing There went through there.
Kinda strange that not one of us found that odd IIRC.

But yeah. Lepi is a good OP. So let us not think that this is unsalvageable.
Maybe we should treat this as a puzzle.
What do we have.
What do we want.
What can we offer.

For example we still have that emptied Grief Seed.
Maybe we could trade that for Kyoko?
Worst case we could make custom Seeds for Nothing There with Lobotomy from Witches in return for Gems.
Not the most morally white option.
But we are in front of Nothing There.
How did some describe X earlier? "Angelic ends through Devilish means"? or something similar?
In the end we can only hope to do the best we can.

So let us keep an open mind and try to be creative about this.

-[X] if you can not reach a good agreement, reluctantly accept and wait until you are strong enough to suppress them
-[X] Set the various souls to some sort of hibernation if possible and ask nothing there to be careful not to hurt or break further
-[X] find substitutes for the soul gems if at all possible, even get kyubeys help
-[X] backpedal on the 'i could help make you human' comment and apologize for it. Claim it was insensitive and based on preconceived notions of what Nothing There was like in the facility.

A human, even if she doesn't have the shape of one, or a full understanding of morals and societal expectations. So now... Her next step should be to solidify herself. Learn what she wants to do and be now that she's 'won' her main battle. Help her with it where possible, Treat her as a child, as human, and teach her. Especially human biology, psychology, morality and developing her own identity as a person. First Step a Name, not just an Epithet but an actual name, and what pronouns they wish to use

We should definitely mention that her cracking our shell will just rot her's instantly. Likely along with every part of her "collection".
Really drive home that popping us is the antithesis of what Nothing There wants.

Since there has clearly been some failure to properly communicate this on my part, I'll state it clearly here.

Combat with Nothing There is not an instant loss. It is currently significantly weakened in order to maintain its current level of humanity, and will not give that up unless it has absolutely no choice. Nothing There and X are equals physically right now, with the differing factors being X's EGO Gear and support from others against NT's stolen Magic.

Fighting is a viable option as long as you're smart about it.
 
Yeah. But there's nothing there about what will happen AFTER we defeat her current form.

She is a Frieza villain. You gotta prepare yourself for her strongest. Not her current.
