I'll be honest, only reason I don't have 'change the scene the fight will take place in' somewhere in here is because I can't think of a way to do it without tipping our hand.

Current iteration of my plan for reference

[X] Plan: Stack the deck
-[X] If Nothing There is still in its shell, you might have a chance. Fight.
--[x] Stall for more time
--[x] While stalling for time have QB make a network between X, Mami, Sakaya, and Kyoko
--[x] Have Mami get Madoka and Yuma out of here and away from where-ever we're fighting.
--[x] Sakaya assists by buffing X and generally just trying to stay out of the way of the fight otherwise. If asked why, explain that purely physical attacks do not work on this thing.
--[x] 1 on 1 network with Homura, explain that NT stole a bunch of soul gems and ask if she can attempt to use time stop to swipe them while she's distracted with fighting us.
--[x] Basically the game plan is a fight with Sakaya providing buffs and Homura using time stop to assist in whatever way she thinks will help.
--[x] Tell Homura about 'Goodbye' and ask her to drag you into time stop to commit massed fire and get out of the way of the attack.

...Theoretically, I suppose we could, yes. But should we?? Should we really? It doesn't feel right to me. Sure, we gain another sapling and all the soul gems, but in exchange we lose the possibility of seeing an Abnormality become 'complete' in a sense. Seeing an Abno's ambitions fulfilled with no chance of backsliding... It's unprecedented. Abnormalities as a whole are built on a foundation of tragedy. Walpurgis is an entity that thrives on it. No, even if we could Suppress NT, we shouldn't, because we'd be shooting ourselves in the foot. Feeding into the cycle of grief and tragedy Facility X-394 was built on.

Nothing There has grown more intelligent with each shell she took. At this point, she's reached a level where she could absolutely be a person if she had all the context. All we have to do is help her realize that and show her that the soul gems are a crutch. Teach her social norms, some biology, effectively raise a child for a bit and we'll be a step closer to Victory Forever. She won't need to take other peoples' shells because she can just make her own.

She'll have everything she ever wanted and more, and we'll have on our side the full, unrestricted might of the greatest Red-Damage Abnormality in existence, without needing to sacrifice any more lives. Hell, we might still be able to extract EGO from her like that.

Ah, shit, that's what the marks close to sakura church where, Kyouko's last moments, NT managed to somehow use part of her magic to make clones that are the things Kyubey is chasing, or something close to it.

Ok, I see a problem in mindset (not the one I feared, thankfully), will read the rest later, giving plan now:

WE HAVE JUST BEGUN NEGOTIATING, why is everyone already discussing our last terms?

Guys, we have some time, we can discuss terms with NT and see what they think, ask some questions, we don't need to give our answer right now.

Ok, the goal here is to begin negotiations, and not propose any solutions that will agitate NT too fast right now, yes, we have a limited time, but the best way to prolong this time is to have NT stays calm.

We use this update to learn more, no need to hurry, we will use this knowledge to refine our approach.

I am aware the vote is long, this is a goddamn negotiation, not the time for small votes.

Changing my vote. Much more detailed and well thought out. I'm a bit afraid Meme's right in that we stepped on a mine with the 'help make you human' bit but you are the local expert in a sense so... Honestly I'm just hoping my thoughts have been helpful so far because I really want that ideal ending goddamnit.

Personally worried about this part right here causing Mami to instantly witch out, honestly.

-[] if you can not reach a good agreement, reluctantly accept and wait until you are strong enough to suppress them
-[] Set the various souls to some sort of hibernation if possible and ask nothing there to be careful not to hurt or break further
-[] find substitutes for the soul gems if at all possible, even get kyubeys help
-[] backpedal on the 'i could help make you human' comment and apologize for it. Claim it was insensitive and based on preconceived notions of what Nothing There was like in the facility.
-[] Nothing There is for all intents and purposes, a child. A very powerful child trying to understand the world and how to fit in with those around her. She is absolutely a person. A human, even if she doesn't have the shape of one, or a full understanding of morals and societal expectations. So now... Her next step should be to solidify herself. Learn what she wants to do and be now that she's 'won' her main battle. Help her with it where possible, Treat her as a child, as human, and teach her. Especially human biology, psychology, morality and developing her own identity as a person. First Step a Name, not just an Epithet but an actual name, and what pronouns they wish to use

There's a reason I am advocating for lobotomy, we get intimate access to the subjects mind and psychology, nothing remains secret to us and ultimately we can use that to our advantage

All is well, Kali. I'm honestly just struggling to come up with ideas of how to Diplomacy our way to success. So much to consider and I feel so lost and just... I know fighting isn't the best answer. But how to diplomacy her so everyone can be happy? Nyarky's pretty insightful but I'm afraid of stepping on the awaiting landmines, but honestly I don't trust myself to come up with the best plan and it's all a mess and I really wanna make this work and I feel so indecisive...
 
I kinda feel like for something this big and talky it's easier for us to vote Talk/Fight, and instead kinda use the thread discussion for the discussion with NT instead?

I feel like part of X's issues here currently is the MG's suffering and X's own hangups with being an Abnormality and what it means, which is why even through she's seen important things like this,

as NT's consuming desire is to become human, this right here is a big sign of change. The Manager is struggling to remain collected.

I feel we get this as a default vote partly due to how much the suffering of others bothers X, but also because while X has admitted that NT has changed and needs to be observed like a new Abnormality, she doesn't want to believe or see that NT can be human (or that X can truly be human/safe) even as her experience and practice, and the Seed of Light push her to see otherwise. X is constantly fighting to not get her hopes up (or down) about what this might mean for herself.

Here, slight change to the plan too, so, @kaillll, @SeQuester? Can you vote for the plan name? It's basically the same vote, just changed the first part to say attachment work instead of insight.

Edit:

Improbable note: this isn't itended to be the end of the conversation, we will need more than one update to do this, trying for an instant solution is not the best idea, unless you want to write a several thousands words long vote full of every if/then you can think of, but then, I can guarantee you nobody would vote for it.
