Pretty sure the white screwy text is Kyoko, so we could potentially 'attempt' to talk to the soul gems. Just not sure what kind of help we could ask of them though.
I personally refuse to trade 36 gems for 1 soul gem, and it seems like the soul gems are being broken in a way that they do not have time for us to make an alternative shell for NT.

First, Nothing There WANTs to do something, and she's nervous about it. It's not just being human. Whatever she plans goes further than that.
Communicate with her. Once again. We don't know anything. So speak up. And ask. Don't be like Ayin. Though even he got better by now.
Second thing, Nothing There is strangely possessive of her soul gems. That is weird.

Third, she is a yandere. A very desperate Yandere. Taking her deal might encourage her to "replace our girls" in the future. That is BAD.
Fourth, she is useless. She literally cannot help us without putting the soul gems in harm's way.
Fifth, she is very close to a human state. No, in fact, she might as well be a human right now. Whatever the reason she has for denying our assistance. That's worth looking into.

Best way around this short of combat is to make sure NT has no need to use their Magic, and to reassure the MGs that X is going to try to do something to help them ASAP

My choice is Make her let kyoko Sakuras soul gem go and then we find for other ways to help other girls in her.

X may disagree, but honestly I'm not counting most magical girls outside of the Holy Quintet as our agents. Also we are absolutely not prepared for a fight, so I'm willing to let it go for now if we can compromise on Kyoko somehow.

Wait, is this implying that Nothing There fucking contracted with Kyubey? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I understood Nothing There's desire to be human as intrinsic to the abnormality, not a fleeting wish. Crack theory time: if this power was the result of a contract, the scenario I'm imagining is that Nothing There took on a normal girl's fragile skin, but heard and parroted a dying girl's wish to Kyubey. Combine vague wording relating to being alive with Nothing There's genuine desire and you get the cutest magical girl there ever was.

It's more clever then we thought, but that doesn't mean it can't be fooled. It fell for Saya playing dead, and it seems trust X utterly. Just get her to turn around, let her gaurd down. Put up a bit more of a fight to get at least some of those Soul Gems back, then when it thinks things ate settled, hit it with Lobotomy. At the least we can cut off It's access to the Magical Girls magic. At best, we put it to sleep, and maybe even turn it into a Sapling.
