I don't think we need to tempt our budding mages, outside of a carefully structured lesson. Playing mindgames with your employees is not conducive to long term loyalty.

I doubt the small fox can do much damage. Certainly not to the Limited Wish gem.
Damage the bag.
Discount-Abraxxas?
Only a 5th of the HD, but easily half the sexappeal?
silently slinking away before Azema becomes aware of the 'half' ...

On the one hand, true, on the other - we are training them to bend reality into a brezel of their choosing; that includes the ability to make pacts on their own.
The old Valyrians weren't nice, but the intention of their Abraxxas test wasn't bad.

[X] Put them into the bag of holding, they should be guarded from any attempts to break the curse there, as long as they do not run out of air.
-[X] Have Tyene curse this one with -6 strength
-[X] The next ones are turned into turtles, they are easier to handle.

There, plan paranoid, you have it now.

[X] Fashion a cloak to serve as a makeshift sack and use it to store the polymorphed creatures. We can keep it slung over our shoulder for now, but pass it to Tyene if we need to use our LHD form in order to fight or fly. Transform the remaining Maenads into tortoises.
-[X] Tyene uses Bestow Curse to inflict a -6 penalty to the fox's Strength attribute.

@DragonParadox, is there any way for the polymorphed Maenads to use the Limited Wish gem while in animal form? Do they have to speak their wish aloud (in which case they're screwed) or are they allowed to just think it?

Weird, I though magic items had improved hardness, but I can only find it for weapons/armor.
Strange idea that powerful items should be so easily destructable.
From d20srd:
This appears to be a common cloth sack about 2 feet by 4 feet in size. The bag of holding opens into a nondimensional space: Its inside is larger than its outside dimensions. Regardless of what is put into the bag, it weighs a fixed amount .If the bag is overloaded, or if sharp objects pierce it (from inside or outside), the bag ruptures and is ruined. All contents are lost forever.

That doesn't sound like it's very durable (better put it into a normal backpack).

To use it the animal would have to understand what is a limited wish gem, I guess. Also, 13 minutes, more than enough time.

@Tomcost, it's not an animal just yet. It needs 24 hours and a failed will save before it loses its memories and the ability to understand language.
If the subject remains in the new form for 24 consecutive hours, it must attempt a Will save. If this save fails, it loses its ability to understand language, as well as all other memories of its previous form, and its Hit Dice and hit points change to match an average creature of its new form. These abilities and statistics return to normal if the effect is later ended.

Also, all the half-alu(?) babies resulting from the failed tests. :ogles: Means more supernatural minions!

Damn, how inconvenient... :(

@Duesal I bet they dead by now, I wonder if we can scry them somehow.
Eh. Azema would probably be eager to experiment if she managed to seduce someone interesting. Hopefully not Yrael, though. I'd rather he not Fall.

Also, they might be dead but I don't know. To find out all we have to do is hand Azema the Wayfinder for a few minutes and have her try to find them. If it works they're alive. If not, that's too bad. :(
