So, the question is:

First, if we can resilient sphere hard enough to save the suvivors

And second, if the old Gods would be willing to accept the sacrifices to cast mass raise dead or something.

[X] See to your friends, harden your heart against the suffering of smallfolk. Is it not their lot to endure? (Alignment shifts 10 points to Evil)

Meh, who cares about some peasants!

Lya is squishy enough that a little wave could take her out. Waymar and Richard are in plate armor. Tyene might not even be able to swim (being from Dorne).

To hell with the villagers.

I wonder if Tyene's Walls of Salt would be tough enough to break the wave?

If there are any gods listening now would be a great time.

Pray I guess?

we have resilient spheres and wings of cover, we probably could cover the whole town... just not all at once.

Is there something we could offer to bahamut? Something for the old gods?

[X] Try to save as many as possible, but priority is to saving your companions. If anyone survives this, he will spread the tale and it is important what it says about you.
-[X] Make it a big show. You want the story of heroic deeds in the face of overwhelming power spread.
-[X] Saving small children is always a crowd pleaser.

I don't give a rats ass about the peasants, but I want to make sure that the right story is spawned by this.

@DragonParadox - the Resilient Sphere spell says it is cast onto one creature; it however does not say if other creatures can also stand in the sphere. And at level 10 and with squeezing rules you could get some people into the available place.

Ha! I knew it could explode!

What was the mechanical effect if you were standing near it?

If it exploded, it wasn't anything like a typical gas-based detonation. Magic would have to be the culprit, since even tons of high powered explosives won't create a tsunami like that.

WOW, that is callous god damn.

No reason not to tell you, I guess. Underwater Leviathan explosion.
Just in theory, would a Dispel Water removing 1600 cubic feet of water break the wave?
There has to be some way to cheat here.

It would still be our fault. I'd prefer no stories at all if we can't win here.

That's barely any water at all. Itty bitty waves that kids play in at the beach contain far more water than that.

@DragonParadox - How many spheres are left?
@Azel - would you incorporate that?
And Air Walk is touch, Vee might have a flight spell or flying creature left, so, our companions should be able to care for themselves.
