Just being pedantic here, perhaps it would be better to differentiate assets from our inventory as I assume we don't carry all the finance paperwork for the Uchiha Clan around with us at any and every time.Inventory

The forest of death is a regulated training area. Setting up a bolthole there isn't going to fly. Water wouldn't do shit to Gaara's sand. He can use it while it's soaked in blood, water isn't even going to slow him down.Anyway, what occurs to me is that we haven't been taking all that much advantage of our metaknowledge. Yes, sure, we have been training, our strength is improving, we use metaknowledge as motivation and we use some of it to choose what to do and what skills might be relevant later or lead to more powerful abilities.
But we haven't been taking advantage of it in "make things that will make things later easier" kind of way. Like, I don't know, setting up a position in a forest of death that can be defended, or investing in wave economics, or looking for Uzumaki shrine in Konoha, or accumulating water-filled storage seals to deal with Gaara's sand in at least some way.
Basically, we have been preparing in a general way, using metaknowledge as motivation. We haven't been preparing anything for specific events in the future using said knowledge to our advantage.
Or because he was running up against a deadline and took advantage of the first gullible patsies he could reach. The thing is, I don't think he's going to be doing anything today. He did in canon because Naruto provided him with a unique opportunity that he took advantage of. Without that being the case, he's more likely to just be busy with the exams.
Just like I said back at the hopsital, we are going to be training to have you develop an ultimate ninjutsu to call your own, a jutsu superior to even rasengan
To do that you'll need to have command of two chakra control techniques "physical and spatial recomposition
Naruto: Physical and spatial... recomposition?
Kakashi: Exactly. Take Chidori. You "physically" recompose your chakra to resemble electricity, then you "spatially" recompose it to discharge, thus determining the strength and scope of the attack
next page:
Kakashi: In that sense you could say that, unlike Chidori, Rasengan is a jutsu relying only on extremely advanced "spatial recombination" since the jutsu compresses chakra by spinning it at violently high speeds it doesn't have any need for "physical recomposition"
??? Basically everyone we see knows how to Kai by the time of the Invasion except for like, Ino, Chouji and Naruto (and also Lee but Lee's problem is something else). Tenten even tried to use Kai when she was in the IT.At least we know how to kai unlike everyone else in the setting.

Tenten's anime Infinite Tsukuyomi dream was completely different than the Manga, and also involved her figuring out it was a massive genjutsu (but still failing to escape). Oh yeah, and the only person who does it stealthy like was Shikamaru (because he wanted to pretend to be asleep). It's a a joke. Since the only on screen use of Kai I remember from the manga is Sakura doing it while everyone else did it stealthy like. Also I'm probably not remembering, but I don't think Tenten went to IT in this story.
-edit-
And I don't remember that being in the manga.

It was never fully explained why she managed to keep all her memories when everyone else didn't (which is how she knew it was a Genjutsu). Though her being the owner of the Sage Weapons is as good an explanation as any.Ah, that was because of the sage weapons she yoinked, wasn't it?

Of course. Gai and Lee's background Genjutsu kept obscuring her vision and letting canny enemy ninjas sneak up on them, so she had to learn to ignore them.Or it's because she was the sane one on her team for soo damn long she developed an immunity to things like this.
She eventually fell victim to the IT anyway, but it is interesting to note that she is the only character without Magic Eyes to demonstrate any resistance to it at all. (She also managed to move a bit instead of being paralyzed when the Eye of the Moon Plan first went off, which I don't think anyone else manages either.)Or it's because she was the sane one on her team for soo damn long she developed an immunity to things like this.
[][Receptors] - Don't use them. The few extra points and a cool factor aren't worth it.
[][Credit] - Show the examiner your Shadow Clone
[][Mizuki] - Don't get involved. You're sure whatever he tries to pull the village will stop. Probably.
Our character doesn't seem like she has the ability to spy on an experienced Chunnin anyway, much less the vast canon differences that makes it unlikely to occur..
Er our QM has explicitly noted that our protagonist is fallible, and mortal, so expecting Hisana to watch him like a hawk without being noticed by the career spy is a tad unrealistic imo. Seriously if he is incompetent enough to be spied upon by someone without any training in the relevant field he is almost certainly a known spy they keep around for obvious reasons. We can keep an eye on Mizuki without being overly suspicious. We will be around him for most of the day since he's our teacher.
If he isn't up to anything, great.
If he is up to something, and we could have given some early warning but didn't because we just left it to chance? That's on us.
He has known that we have the Sharingan since the day he demonstrated the bunshin in class. So Mizuki craves power, and acknowledgment, right? So would he actually go through the risk of trying to retrieve the scroll when such an action can easily bring suspicion upon himself, or will he simply exploit an opportunity to create a distraction in the village, and claim a reward from Orochimaru by passing along the fact that one of the surviving Uchiha has the Sharingan?
