[X] Call Nanoha, Ask if there's anything Raising Heart can do to track down the godbinders with one of her number at her disposal.
-[X] If yes, bring him to her.
-[X] If not, call Rei to inform her and Samui about a captured enemy combatant with information on the godbinders. Ask if it's alright and safe to bring him to Mars for interrogation on the godbinders and anything else they may know, and if not, ask where to drop him, before doing as instructed.

This is basically a bigger version of the above reply's plan, but I like that plan.

This whole idea of asking Mars to interrogate a prisoner seems I'll conceived IMO, and we've already seen Sir Fred extract seemingly useful information within the timeframe of this battle.

I like the plan, but should we take the magical signal flare we accidentally sent out in account as well or?

oh, yeah, that's a good point, just not sure how much Usagi is aware of that being a thing.

Ok, so she'd know she lit off a Burst there at the very least, so it is a useful thing to include, I'll add it

[X] Ask Samui if Sailor Moon can teleport into MCAT HQ and give the prisoner to Sailor Mars so that she can use Honest Flame on him. Mars and Moon can then interrogate him for the locations of the other ritual sites.

Let's do something a bit more comprehensive guys. We'll talk to MCAT anyway if this doesn't work.

[X] Bring him to Mars and ask her to use her Honest Flame to interrogate him for the locations of the ritual sites. If he clams up bring in Sir Fred to un-clam him. Once locations are obtained give the targeting data to Nanoha for Orbital Bombardment.

Might be too wordy or too much for the Action, but this is what I want.

Distracting Nanoha from helicopter escort duties incurs too great a risk to the Cobras in my opinion. Besides the obvious loss of life and much needed firepower that would come from an attack helicopter being shot down at this juncture, it'd hurt the credibility of the Senshi, magical girls, and MCAT. Given how much the latter organization is reliant on the cooperation of the JSDF for support, I don't believe it's a risk worth taking.

[X] Teleport beyond the range of the godbinders and attempt a quick interrogation before performing「Celestial Maiden Elevates Offending Pervert.」

Is it okay to change my vote?

[X] Have Mars ask MCAT command where to bring the ritualist for interrogation, then bring him there.

I'd like to change it to this. Not comfortable with Moon interrogating him because she needs to heal allies and areas, and places like West Gate desperately need it with Onogoro's roll there this turn. I'd rather not distract her.

Aren't those things loud? Like very loud? Catboy better have some form of protection for those exposed ears of his!
Hoshi Aburaki (Catboy in question): Ah, right right. Unenhanced these things are pretty loud aren't they? Thankfully between our own mages, Doctor Sakurai, and a bit of help from Jadeite, any weapons above a certain decibel level are... not silenced, but quieted. I still have the ear protection that our clans developed back in the forties in as well. Grandma said that she wouldn't let me join in on the fun unless I took better care of my body than she did hers during the last Hunt.

Well, bazookat does demonstrate that MCAT has already hit on the immediate idea that even the relatively weaker Yokai are generally strong enough to carry what would normally be heavy/special weapons like rocket launchers and machine guns without any trouble, and swing them around a lot faster and more dextrously than an unenhanced human.

The USA is going to be so upset. They were looking forward to selling their Project Ranger powered armor to everybody but then the other nations simply included personnel that are that strong/durable naturally.

There's still a lot of Mk 1. Humans they can sell their tech to. It can't all be Yokai/Cryptids doing everything all the time, and as the JGSDF are finding out by observing the disproportionately large number of heavy weapons MCAT is deploying and their comparative effectiveness, such armament is going to be a key component for at least the short term of this new paradigm of conflict that is being displayed here going forward.

I don't know how many catboys with bazookas there are in Genjuro's "flying squad," but there's a decent chance that this might be the same guy who blew up the first Onogoro samurai through the west gate back in Chapter 8.

It depends on where the Ranger armor maxes out.

Lots of yokai have the strength of two, three, or even five normal men.

Some have the strength of twenty or fifty men, but that's rarer.

Another aspect for other countries buying the BeamCyst/Project Ranger stuff is how maintainable the stuff is. For example will they have the capability to recharge/refuel/repair the equipment themselves or will they need to constantly order fresh batteries and parts from the US?

Frankly, the massed heavy weapons thing is probably kind of a stopgap, and it's got drawbacks- a lot of collateral damage that's only remotely acceptable because in a situation like this there's extensive efforts to pre-clear firing lanes and ensure that the buildings actually in danger of getting chewed up are evacuated.

Having actually magic-proficient soldiers and some kind of way to systematize their equipment would probably be a good thing, and there are likely to be voices within MCAT that are tempted to just say 'fuckit' and go with a melee-oriented all-yokai force if they can figure out a way because that tends to cause less collateral damage.

But human beings can't melee with a lot of the stuff MCAT expects to fight... well, not without something that confers the physical strength and durability of at least a low-end magical girl transformation, or highly magical melee weapons and armor of a type Onogoro has a lot of and MCAT has very few of.

I wonder if mass producing Symphogears would be MCATs equivalent to the Ranger Project. All they need is to steal borrow as many cultural relics as they can find and then start making weapons from them. The power of music and numbers would go a long way to help even the odds.
