I mean, no argument there. But... no reason to not keep it rolling. So why not?

Changing my vote:
(Under the condition it's more playing DAoT hoomin than reveal as AI, or as mysterious backer.) Might have to come up with a last name.
[ ] Plan: Self and Inventory have been Checked, let's get to Adventuring! + Research edition!
-[] Basics of Psytech (Lets knock this one off)
The problem is that for us to get those research points, we have to spend one of the four actions available to us. So if you want to do research, you have to take at least one action away from somewhere else.
[ ] Plan: Self and Inventory have been Checked, let's get to Adventuring!
I like this plan, and I will vote for it probably when the voting opens. However, might I suggest an addition for a free "poking around database"? Because if we want to convince someone from the Mechanicus, it would help to understand them better. And the Explorators are a faction that would resonate at least somewhat with Vita. Could even be a good cover later on. Something like this, maybe?

[] [Free] Poke around some more in the databases, looking for anything in particular.
-[] While going through the files you stole from those tech-cultists in hopes of finding way to subvert at least some of them, you came across a term that seemed interesting. "Explorator".

Then you should edit the plan description to not say "cards on the table" or actually say "except for being an AI", or you're going to be clarifying that all vote and losing votes from people who don't even bother to ask.
I made some slight edits to Alectai's plan, one being what you suggested: "--and lay almost all of your cards on the table (with the exception about your nature as an AI)." Because even if our QM has already clarified to Alectai that they will take intent into account in this post:
"Lay your cards on the table" usually means reveal everything. But here it seems like you're still pretending to be human, just ancient human with good tech who doesn't want to be jumped by the goverment. Accurate?
Broadly, yeah, it's a lot more believable than AI that doesn't want to kill them all after all. Ideally, we don't even need to outright lie!
Well, you made a good point. Perfectly illustrated with zack omega24 asking about why we are revealing that we are an AI in post right above yours. So I made the V.2.0 below.

I also added what I suggested earlier for the free option of going through the database. Though I have to ask, @Neablis, is the way I put it okay? Because it is somewhat OOC for me to just introduce a term I know, but it is not some hidden knowledge and I think the term would draw in Vita's attention based on her own interests.

--[ ] It's pretty clear that the Mechanicus are making a mess of things, holding a gun to the people's heads, but it's also pretty darned clear that not everyone likes this. You've done a deep dive into the government datanets and have a pretty good idea on who's who now, find a collaborator--someone with respectable character who you think could keep a secret--and lay almost all of your cards on the table (with the exception about your nature as an AI). You're a Surveyor from ancient times who's been stuck in stasis until recently, and you'd like very much to get back to the stars, and if you can give a leg up to some folks who have been going through some rough times, all the better. Some political cover to operate more openly will accelerate your timetable dramatically, and based on how limited the Mechanicus' reach seems to be, you'll have some time for your other ploys to start panning out. (Summary: Find a government collaborator, establish a working relationship)
--[ ] You refuse to believe a mystery cult will leave a mystery alone, and while their official policy may be fixed to maximum regression and maintaining their powerbase, you doubt that carries forward to their entire population. Use your access to their systems and your discreet transmission to seed a few interesting breadcrumbs here and there, for the genuinely inquisitive sorts who haven't yet been turned to close-minded conservatives. It'll help you sift out who you can work with, since their current system has got to go in the long run if this place is going to survive--because seriously, space bugs? That's a problem. (Summary: Seed a few interesting breadcrumbs for the genuine adventurers who might be suppressed in the Mechanicus Enclaves, to see if we can identify some potential allies among them.)

This would just take one action - you have the database accesses, you can easily fabricate yourself an identity and print yourself identification cards and stuff.

Then going into the city to register a business and make connections can be combined with the "Figure out what you can sell"in a single action. Which can also be a database query action. They've got market data on the datanet. A potentially more comprehensive action would just be "Start a business, selling to {large companies/governments/individuals} in the {local/global} area."

You can also sell some stuff over the datanet, but it's more "big goverment and industrial contracts" instead of "you can become amazon."

Gonna have to modify my plan again. Thanks for the clarification!

Looks good. What research do you want to pair it with? I think bot disguise and more work on shields is a good idea for the reasons I mentioned previously, but I am open to other ideas,

Jeez, I literally clarified that, the QM confirmed it, I further iterated on it, and nobody cares.

T_T Makes me *frumple* it does.

Well, Meianmaru's post is basically what I would edit it to, it's just a burr in the back of my neck more than something I'm actually upset about.

If it makes you feel any better I'm planning to steal it in turn and add research *twirls mustache* Mwahaha :V

I've long time ago come to the conclusion that nobody reads anything anywhere. And if they by some miracle do read it, they will misunderstand it. And I'm not exempt from this, even when I try. Better to just assume you should make everything as clear cut as feasible, so that when the confusion happens anyway, it will be at least just the minimum amount.

EDIT: Aaand I forgot about the Avatar. Copied Alectai's description:

[X] Avatar: A woman of indeterminate age, a little on the smaller side, but with a warm smile and expressive features to the point you'd never expect her to be a synthetic intelligence more ancient than the Imperium. She has her hair in a long bob, a pair of glasses, and when circumstances don't require her to dress to the occasion, she favors a well pressed uniform of a nation long since forgotten in history, because she's still never had her commission as a Naval Surveyor relinquished and as far as she's concerned, that's how you dress on the job (And she's very often on the job)

-[X] Research 200/200
-[X] Combat bot Humanization (100/100 RP) Your combat robots are obviously artificial, with metal skeletons and obvious sensors. But with a bit of tweaking you could make them look like humans in full-body armor. That would include the ability to speak and be mistaken for a human. They wouldn't be able to remove their helmets, and any investigation of wrecks would expose them as machines, but... it still might be useful. (No obvious follow-on tech).
-[X] Psychic shielding: (150/300 RP) How does your shielding even work? What does it do? You've got the manuals, but it's going to require some brain-sweat to understand the darn thing. (Gives you a stability metric and a readout on your shielding. The first step towards building more/better psychic shielding. Half of unlocking research for better warp understanding).

We really don't need to do research every turn, lets focus on more important things like getting out, over research that we don't need to do right now. Psychic shielding is for improving your shield and at least for now it is fine.

I don't know if the four actions thing is real, didn't see anything to indicate it. If so:

Forgot about the Avatar initially, edited my post to have the description that Alectai made. If you want to vote for both, you have to vote both of these votes below in the same post. Just voting my plan (which is really just slightly adjusted Alectai's plan) will not count towards voting for the Avatar. Just like Questwolf just did as I was writing this.

Anyway, an example with the X removed:
