Keep our allies informed, insist on facing our mutual foes, and preparing for a fixable problem is better than ignoring it or treating it like kryptonite.

I'm feeling like Naru being like a liaison between us and Blue might be a decent outcome of a future action, though I also get the feeling that Blue might crash and burn in the meeting if it comes out how many girls he has already lost... Also we really should do something about the girl in the mirror that we have now that, that plot line is coming up. The wonders of AP hell.

Anyways, always go full disclosure about the enemy's tactical information, and MCAT listened the the operation we lead so feels best to reciprocate. All three of the attitudes feel about even in their pros and cons, I don't think there is a high chance the trap is going to work, but at the same time playing into the enemy's hand is a bad idea.

I'm up for this!

And Naru is really starting to stack, huh? First a Mage, then Secret Agent, then Goddess, now Precure?

...Hmm...Maybe Naru's the protagonist, what with all her blatant class-changing and questline-hopping.

Good allies share intel, how MCAT responds to a known trap for one of their allies will massively differ from how they'd conduct an ordinary base defense. You can't respond appropriately to a situation if you don't know what situation it actually is

I would love to trust them with this, but it's entirely possible there may be an Empty Face sent with and their kind of postcognitive memory wiping and SEP fields would be an absolute nightmare to deal with in a combat situation and the only one I can remember being able to work around those is Rei

All or nothing as far as I'm concerned, ignoring is too big a risk, meanwhile springing the trap early means that Onogoro won't be able to set up a perfect shot with it, and avoiding it entirely, while somewhat limiting keeps the Senshi free to help MCAT

Love and Justice are built on a foundation of Trust, so we should tell MCAT about the trap, and our plans of purposefully springing it to mitigate its possible effectiveness. As @Silverking said, better to bait and switch than to underestimate or overanalyze.

The way I see it, right now we're at our most prepared and Onogoro is at its least. This is probably the safest time to find out whether or not their thing works, short of someone who knows how to do it defecting to MCAT.

...that's what I was thinking, but if it doesn't work then we want Onogoro to keep trying to make it work for as long as possible, and if it does we don't want to get hit by it. So let's assume it works, and if it fails to work when Onogoro manages to hit us with it later, that can be a pleasant surprise for us and an unpleasant one for them.

Yeah. If it works, we want to dodge, and if it doesn't work, we want them to keep wasting time trying instead of finding something more effective.

I just can't decide between the Partycrashing options, but I know what I want for the Trap and Attitude options:

I'll be honest, I really want to see Usagi become a Pretty Cure just to see if the transformations can be stacked on top of each other.

I'm torn on spring versus evade. Evade ensures that Onogoro doesn't get to see if the trap works or not. Spring however allows us to jump as many of their forces as possible reducing the chance of them ever managing to pull something like this again.

The only way You want a trap sprung on You is if You have a secret Trump card ready to get the jump on your enemies.

Pride is an Insidious killer after all.

Either way we really gonna have to deal with Blue sooner rather than later once the option is available, mostly cause if he continúes spreading libel againts us, the situation may turn nasty.

Especially if people under him way over their head decide.

Hey we have been warned various times these guys may be from the DK, so why don't we get the drop on them?.

Not setting things straight with Blue early just seems too much of a headache than it is worth.

As for him being able to create so many cures, well I have 2 theories.

Either he found a good enough power source that it is able to power up various of his transformation tools.

Or he is actually not putting the full juice into them and going into a quantity over quality approach due to the various threats that need to be battled.

Seeing as he is not asking other precures other than the ones he uses it seems that it may be a case of the later, mostly due to them having to deal with their own problems, probably he was gonna ask people like moonlight for help, but after the later defeat he is probably a lot on the fence to not put more weight than necessary on other teams he may be aware of.

Not sure what combination of options would be to not spring the trap, but be prepared and ready to if needed.

Also anyway we could set up a fake senshi to trick them?

We do have that. It's not just pride, it's that a lot of words have been spent establishing that Onogoro gets the upper hand against the big monsters by knowing what they are and creating specialized counters for those things. Whatever they're bringing to this fight is specialized to fight a thing that the Sailor Senshi are not.
Also anyway we could set up a fake senshi to trick them?
Unfortunately the Senshi identity protection magic also protects their identity from imitators.

Also the most likely fake Senshi via using the Disguise Pen is Naru, who is a spectacularly bad idea to throw at this trap given she counts as a goddess.

I refuse to be concealing information from an ally so that they can't object to us taking risks for them. It is a very silly thing to do.

[][Partycrashing] Trust Your Allies

Trust, but try to be clever about it.
Just a note that it looks like "Trust Your Allies" in context means "if MCAT tells you to stay away, you stay away." Which makes 'being clever about it' kind of moot.

EDIT: Maybe we have some stuff we can give them to help? Or we could do other stuff elsewhere so that they can free up more resources for the battle?
Remember, in-game it's Thursday afternoon after school and the battle is Thursday night. Usagi only regained consciousness around noon on Wednesday and spent a sizeable chunk of her evening visiting the planet Mercury and getting caught up on homework. I don't think there's any complicated juggling we could do that would impact what assets MCAT has available at their own headquarters on Thursday night for an attack they've probably known was coming for 24-48 hours.

At any rate, I'll try making a plan for once.

@Lunaryon , what's your position on plan votes for this?

...

Again, just an in-game reminder that the mechanical effect of "Trust Your Allies" is "if MCAT reacts to knowing that Onogoro has a plan to trap the Senshi by telling the Senshi to stay away, obey them."

The results of that are... difficult to predict.

I'm not sure where Disney's Aladdin is in the production process in this timeline, but historically it hit the theaters on November 11, 1992.

In our reality Aladdin was the baby of Howard Ashman who wanted the animated musical made as early on as 1988. Unfortunately he never got the opportunity to work on it as he wanted, passing away in 1991 of AIDS at the age of 40, putting the finishing touches on Beauty and the Beast.

So much of a driving force was Ashman behind the Disney Renaissance that the company moved the production of Beauty and the Beast near to his home in New York so that he could work on the animated feature. Sadly, he died eight months prior to its release but he did manage to watch an unfinished cut of the movie.

An apocryphal tales tells that following a successful test screening held prior to Ashman's death, another of the staff working on Beauty and the Beast commented on the film's stellar performance "who'd have thought it?" to which Ashman is said to have replied, "I would."
