I mean, I wonder if he'll be genuinely impressed at what we did with it, or if he'll wardec us on principle for daring to imitate their work.

[X] A Wealth of Labor

Please remember if you're doing a draft plan to spend an action activating the Symphony.

Just... imagine this poor necron, going to pick up his stuff.

And just before he does, we drop multiple centuries of dedicated and outright manic labor of an entire polity on those poor ships of his. The unspeakable things we'd do to those ships will be enough to scar his nightmares for rest of his life, and make him spend next few centuries cleaning the stains.

I think we've broadly been extremely careful with them to make sure we don't damage them? Most of it is observations and surface level analysis and using that to direct our study into such techniques.

Oh yeah! When you get up @HeroCooky , I've got a question--are our Necron derived stuff going to be locked as being black with green energy, or will we at least be able to play around with the color of things a bit? Blue or Golden lightning arcs could be neat!

Okay, but that was... about 10 actions, spread over multiple centuries?
These here actions will be done in a turn. Centuries of work, compressed to mere 10 years.
Just the sheer traffic around those ships will be intense. And the deeper the mysteries get, the more temptation there may be for digging deeper into ships themselves...

... Though honestly I was (and am still) just making a joke. I hope we don't void the ships' warranty, or our fleets will be voided.

Just some notes on Autonomous Automata--

Basic RL-Game AI. Basic.
This is what the "Autonomous" Automata will get us

The answer for if we'll ever remove or ameliorate the !!Warning!! for autonomous automata
No, that's what you currently have. The next one is the start on the path to getting AI once more.
And clarification on what the research will get us.

Although things might change thanks to Grand Design, I firmly think we'll want to get Autonomous Automata, because I frankly think that getting basic Video Game AI is fairly necessary to use our automata as line military forces, especially if we want to use them in our Crusade Fleet. It's not going to actually make AI guys, even the next stage is just the start on the path.

No, the Yeeni vastly outnumbered the Cultists, it was the Thules who are furries that outnumbered them too.
Ohhh that's what you meant, and considering the Thules that make up a percent of the population... yah they are tiny.

Add the damn Song. 🔫🦊
..... well I have a lot of things to do and its low priority.... plus no one asked it.

Yeah, you have a trio of their Monitor variants as SDF by now.

And now, I am giving you Gloriana-expies because you are a bit above the tech-level of Great Crusade-Era Imp
Oh sweet, that must hell for most powers that every single settled planet and system has three Heavy Cruiser Monitors for each planet, needing to factor that and the Defense Station in for how large a force to take a single of our worlds will be.

"If stealing isn't owning, then shoving daemons into machines is science." - Local Iron Warrior forcing a daemonette into a power-claw that will never get used.
That... well, hmmmm. checks out, and the Imperium loses track of things as is so keeping up supply of ships wouldn't be too hard.

You have not created the Newly Improved stuff, so no. Until then, at least.
Ah, fair enough and should be fine after next turn since I think most plans include researching them.

"Why is that system named 'DO NOT'?"
...FUCK they are RIGHT on our doorstep. if they are in Childen's Rift. damn either we lost all of the stuff next turn or only have one turn to do it.

Damn this is why I wanted to do the Necron research way earlier to get it out of the way, granted it would have only shown there was a second phase and other Necron stuff but still.

I mean, it's probably worth considering, although I don't know the math on the progress involved.

That being said uhhhh if he's in DO NOT ENTER I think the implication is that he got led into something that would stall him AGAIN

Because, you know, Do Not Enter

If I was assuming Cooky would be joking with us, the joke would be that Necron Lord has common sense, and thus when seeing something called DO NOT ENTER he well, doesn't enter, turns around, and goes around the long way
Yah.... yah, I'm hoping they go in that system and just get bogged down for another turn before they show up so we can at least grab the other stuff of the necrons. we got the armor and the weapons but I'm hoping to grab the void shields, armor and engine upgrades above all else. sadly anything else after this turn will be a pipe dream in terms of getting.

[X] A Wealth of Labor

1. QM are we gonna have Fed Nun in a lab coat going crazy mad scientists on 172 hours of uninterrupted consciousness and several drugs as the reason why so much research got done in a turn and everyone in the sector looking on at her in concern and fear?

Every accredited scientist, pseudo-scientist, mad scientist, shaman from the 555th mountain of Droma, med school student, college grad, and engineering intern is going to be put on the purest of meth, ketamine, Vyvanse, Adderal, Cocaine, Coffee, Amphetamine and whatever experiemental drug we are going to cook up in real time in order to pull off what we are about to do. Prepare yourself for the most unhinged decade. By the end of this only the StarChild will know of the horrors we commit

And even they are giving the Glimmering Federation the side eye, lol.

[X] A Wealth of Labor

Let the singularity be breached.

However, I would ask one thing: Can we spare an action or a few to augment the Thules to their maximum transhumanist potential before the Imperium/Tyranids/Necrons/Chaos+ come to strangle the Star Child?

Gentlebeings, we can rebuild them.

We have the technology.

To the first gene-forged soldier worthy of the Astartes in the Federation.

The Thules will be those women (and men).

Already the best, and now better than they were before. Better. Stronger. Faster. Tougher. Smarter.
Hornier.

(Unfortunately "The Bionic Woman" doesn't have the iconic "Six Million Dollar Man" intro lines, so have both for the full experience).

We have the ordained means, the pious tools, the heroic volunteers and the blessed knowledge.

We need only the spirit and will to see this vision through!

[] The Wonders Of Economy Of Scale II
"Look, the deal is simple. You buy a certain amount, I add a bit ontop, and we both make more money when the Fleet starts knocking on our doors on the Regular."
(Gain: Automated Production of Destroyers and Frigates at a 5:1 Ratio. 20% of total Action-given capacity. Must be directed. This Trait can be evolved via Research.)

I know it is not going to win now but i like to point out it got even better then the first time we could take it as i now states that This Trait can be evolved via Research and the one i think that improves this is:
-[] Shipyard Automatization III (1/2)
(Gain: 1 Frigate every Turn.)

@HeroCooky if it's not too much trouble could you show us what Grand Design would do for the research as the plan is to activate it? it would help a lot in determining what the effects are rather than activating and then just going down the list as it were. Maybe just like two temporary spoiler tabs as it were?

Honestly, I'd like to have an idea of how much AP beyond what's listed for the Necron Tech stuff there is. I think we're through the biggest bottleneck at this level, but who knows.

ALRIGHT CHUMS, LET'S DO IT.

Well, unless we just Bad Ended for not taking the Faith Trait boost, god damnit my anxiety wants to run out of control but I still believe in the cause.
