I'm not actually against learning music, tbh? I just think that waiting until we learn music will kinda have this poetry action be dead in the water for a year or more, which seems like kinda a waste?
Well that depends mainly on the Royal Progress and how it goes, but according to QM conflict is a while away (If it happens at all in the unlikely event we manage to make everything alright), so even if we don't train it for a while, we'll more than likely find time at some point.

Plus it might end up becoming a method of stress relief, who knows?

Music will be another thing to add to the pile, along with training, riding Syrax, studying both law and diplomacy, and probably a myriad of other things we'll come across in the Progress.

Only so many AP a turn, and piling on another skill we'd need to cultivate over multiple turns could spread us too thin.

[X] Yes, serenade her with poems of your love and affection.

Be authentic, its easy to get stuck in your head, put it the page and so what if there is a selfishness to it? Its true, and we can still improve in time.

Just gotta spit it out sometimes. The fumbling sincerity would probably come off as endearing. Let Alicent know that hunky beefcake Rhaenyra is also internally spilling spaghetti when she's near her crush.

We really don't have the action economy to spend on poetry and music.

Pick a lane, I say.

I had (unfortunately, after the vote) thought of some reason why music might have been better than poetry, but it escapes me now. Might have had to do with the whole "song of ice and fire" thing? Or maybe that being able to sing for younger sibling or dragons might be useful.

Agree on action economy concerns, although I think if we put any more actions into it being okay at music and poetry would probably be better than being great at poetry.

Also, interesting and unfortunate that Johanna clocked Rhea as well. Jeyne was free because it's an open secret to everyone except Septon Eustace, but Rhea is just kind of tomboyish.

Honestly kind of weird she hasn't assumed the same about us - the stuff we do is more masculine than Rhea, and we were the one who was just putting together the lesbian heiresses alliance.

I hope we do get a younger sister first. Even if we're unlikely to get lucky enough to get all sisters (although wouldn't that be nice), it definitely seems like it's be easier to bond with and get over ourselves with a younger sister.

Roses are red, Violets are blue
My eyes are too
But not as pretty as you?
Wait, no my eyes are purple Godsdamnit

You are as pretty as a Spring day,
And fill my heart with feelings most gay.
How oft I feel driven to say,
With me wouldst thou lay?

Thank the Gods no one will read this.

This Is a very gentlemen/lady-like way to show Alicent how much Rhaenyra Is a Gay disaster around her

Rough, all too open, fumbles with her own Thoughts and feelings.

But Honest

She thinks lesbians are inherently of poor moral character. Rhea got her marriage dissolved (Which is a big no-no to Johanna), Rhaenyra was clearly good enough for her father to think she's worthy of ruling the Seven Kingdoms.

Make TeenSpirit write bad poetry.

I'm jamming the awkward teen button so hard. Come one Rhaenyra, I believe you can channel 10% of the confidence of that guy handing out mix tapes on the street corner!
