I thought we should include the Velaryons more.

I have said he can here it's just a miserable experience
Welp, Rhaenyra would be more miserable not having the strongest house in Westeros locked down. Or having to hide her love for Alicent.

For real though, getting a man from a powerful house that is just super cool with Rhaenyra being in a lesbian affair, is just as difficult an ask as getting heirs from Laenor.

With it confirmed that he can have kids, with significant difficulty, I really can't see an argument being made for other, much weaker houses.

The desire for a harem route where a husband is into Rhaenyra and her relationship with her Handmaiden seems much more far-fetched when she is trying to be classy and chivalrous with Alicent.

I still think that we don't actually need to be that close to king's landing in order to visit the birth. We're bringing our dragon, so even up north we should only be a couple days away from King's Landing when it's time to return. And we can ask Viserys to when the baby is near send a raven to a keep where we expect to be so that we can get back on time

I think that's a bit overoptimistic as to the state of telecommonucations in the 7 kingdoms.

Make it to King's landing within a week of the birth, probably feasible.
Make it to King's landing for the actual birth...

Also, this'd probably annoy whatever lord gets stuck hosting the Procession while it's waiting for Rhaenyra to return.

@Teen Spirit, what happens if the voting is tied?

Also, does anyone know why Blackhaven is the Stormlander Marcher house we are visiting?

Edit: @Teen Spirit, is Ser Criston Cole hanging around Blackhaven, because his father is the steward there?

Also is Ser Criston Cole still pissed about his failure to join the Kingsguard?

Honestly I didn't even know that. I chose Blackhaven in mine since I was just picking the main noble houses in the Stormslands and it was conveniently in our path, I was between them and Caron/Nightsong. Actually, probably Nightsong is best since they and Swann claim to be the oldest of Marcher Lords.

Purposely avoided Swann since iirc the Lord right now is the stingy mf who refused to ransom back his niece and let her be sold as pillow house slave in Lys. Dunno if you want to touch that.

That is a very good point about Swann plus Nightsong aren't going to our biggest fans either because Ser Desmond Caron stormed off during that Kingsguard trial we set. Although we may have to careful not to insult House Caron as Elenda Caron wed Borros Baratheon in Canon.

When it comes to returning for the birth of our sibling, it might not be that important. I've seen the idea put forward that we need to be there to put an egg in our sibling's cradle so that they'll bond to a hatchling and be unable to claim a large older dragon. But cradle eggs hatching is always a crapshoot, entirely possible an egg we give them just doesn't hatch.

Also entirely possible Viserys or Johanna do that themselves. While a cradle egg hatching would prevent her child from claiming a larger dragon, it'd also give them some legitimacy from the get go. If we mention it to Johanna as a Targ tradition she might be all for it.

I'm in favor of going back if we can make it, in hopes that it'll put us on the path to getting over our issues and treating them as a younger sibling, but it's not do or die.

[X] Plan Tourneys, Judgements and Friendships

So you have decided to vote for the plan that is confused about Westerosi geography and basic Weather patterns.

As this plan you picked means we visit the North (a place known for summer snows) in the late autumn/early winter which will likely means at least some of our party hypothermia, additionally @Azel still wouldn't tell how messing around in the Northern Vale gets us to Seaguard (which is in the Western Riverlands). Plus it also means we are much more likely enter a tourney earlier in our progress (because the North doesn't hold tourneys meaning we are much more likely to lose said tourney and not get knighted.

So for sake of our goals (and not freezing any of our retinue to death) change your votes to Plan Introducing the Princess-Knight the more logical option.

Temes1066 please don't ping and harass people just here to vote, neither of them made any comment, judgement or otherwise engaged in their posts.

Yeah don't do this it's rather rude and needlessly aggressive.
