A Hellfish flys again! ( a Simpsons X DVV CK2 Quest)

Er, not to be negative on the C Hearts N interlude, but what are Camilla, Luz, Vee and the rest of the Owl House gang (minus Hunter) doing in Springfield? Why did they leave Gravesfield?

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they're alive, but I thought it would take something like a couple of actions or finding a side character, instead, we find them on our turf pretty conveniently through a personal action. And considering that Camilla and Ned are likely going to continue dating, it won't be long until we find out about their situation with The Boiling Isles and Belos. It just feels too easy imo.

Wouldn't be surprised Gravesfield and Springfield were fairly close as cities.

Like probably 1 or 2 hour car ride time.

IIRC the owl house timeline, since we are after the end of season 2 and before the start of season 3, they did spent quite a bit doing slice of life stuff before trying to get back to the boiling isles.

TBH this quest also started before the Owl House fiinished, so it wasn't incorporated yet to the DVV settings at full, so I am fine with the QM take on this so far.

You would be right that would be to easy...thankfully that's not the case.

You're not going to get involved in the owl house plot though flander personals for one Camilla and Luz aren't going to tell him about what going on for his own safety even if he and Camilla start dating (basically Flander would become jake longs dad, they love him but thier going to do thier hardest to keep him in the dark)

You're actually going to have to work for it and prove yourselfs to them first and will only get the option to interact with them as Abe and properly start things up though a other action entirely and will then have to earn their trust for them to tell Abe about what's happening.

As for why the crew is here?

They're on a roadtrip trying to find magical knowledge on how to get the Boiling Isles kids home and have stopped off in Springfield a bit to rest and work to refill thier funds and unless you take that other action I mentioned before and work to earn thier trust their eventually pack up and leave to continue thier roadtrip.

Well at least it's just them on a road trip, at least the Boiling Isles kids will learn more of earth.

Speaking of narration, Springfield is possible close attached to the Wasteland since in this verse the city was almost destroyed because of the polution emmited by it, heck we even have a quest about it.

I imagine the more we explore the Wastelans the more things start to get... strangensince the mystery is close attached to it's nature. Fink probably will be the firat to realize something wrong is going on since the technology on there don't match woth what it's currebtly avaliable.

EVERYONE! WE HAVE TO WINGMAN FOR NED AS HARD AS WE CAN!

The Owl House kids include Willow. Willow makes plants grow with magic. We grab her, we can learn plant magic. We learn plant magic, we can end the famine and fix the Wasteland!

Hmm, I say we get involved within the owl house plot.

Apart from Flanders getting happy of course

Belos is too dangerous to be left alone unchecked and hope canon goes it's way.

Then we also have the Collector which is pretty much just a kid who wants attention, practically Bart if he had awesome cosmic powers, would probably let us know of future occult enemies like certain golden dorito if we can go his canon route of making friends.

You also have everything else in this kitchen sink, titan blood after all is rare and powerful.

Any mage worth their salt will want it, that of course would include Magica De Spell.

That is without counting other threats, New York is a bad area right now, cause we have the fucking huntsclan there, we got mention of them during turn 1 iirc and trust me they would get buddy buddy with Belos philosophy.

And they are not above killing kids as long as they fall into the magical creature category.

Doesn't Bart have psychic powers as well or is that more of a non-canon thing?
Kinda non-canon.

The main one iirc was from a threehouse of horror story and then you have the shining parody.

There is that one joke of Bart obligating Milhouse into writting pick up bart on the walls in reverse.

But well that is a joke.

If he has them it is probably so minuscule that he will need a lot of training to awaken it.

Homer can also see other people's thought bubbles and project his so others can see them. It may be genetic.

I agree with wingmaning for Ned with Camilla. Luz and Amity should be good Occult Units and Dethroning Belos would be good practice for overthrowing other Kings we don't approve of.

Well, if the topic is about potential kings to overthrow, one would suggest Doom and Bellwether, whenever it becomes possible and feasible. It would be no small thing, earning the gratitude of toons and the predators of Zootopia.

On a more personal level, there is Glomgold. Restoring Scrooge would earn gratitude from Webby, and tutelage from Scrooge would be invaluable, the richest duck in the world and all, making his fortune square the entire way.
