Well, except that she is easily the most dangerous of the fiancees and thus there was always the risk she might decide "obstacles are for killing" and just murder Akane or Ukyo.
Not a threat to Ranma at all, and while she uses underhanded tricks she doesn't have an underhanded mentality so she just uses underhanded tricks to beeline Ranma again.

And then nothing of consequence results beyond terrain damage since all the fiancees are at least strong enough to not die accidentally, and Shampoo knows that a death would mean she loses

Ah Fudo as always the scheming piece of shit.

Hope we can leave him on a body casket and crippled for life once his true colors are shown.

Wouldn't be surprised the Senshi and more than one of the associated magical girls will want a piece of him to maim, especially when Tsubasa real relationship to that fuck is revealed.

Without counting whoever else he decides to use and double cross in his senile actitude.

Like without Shem-ha (probably) I wouldn't be surprised this is idiot decides to awaken whatever ancient god is sleeping out there thinking ''yeah I can control this for my plans''.

[X] The Sword

So, just to be amusing... maybe the sword is technically part of a certain power armor set we need to collect to find a certain being that survived the Fall and used to wear that armor.

[X] The Sword

Please, tell me more of this Akane/Ukyo chemistry. ;)

I know, totally removed from its context to create different context, but I couldn't help myself. Side note, I kinda miss when the Penultimate Ranma Fanfic Index was a thing.

I feel my age in this post

The wok seems like it might have a secondary use as a pan for Naru.

EDIT: forgot to add my vote

We have that giant magical girl meeting coming up and that means A LOT of food is going to need to prepared.

Pantyhose has a particular hate on for the man who gave him his name, and has been searching for revenge since he first realized that he was named after underwear.

Part of that hate on is that by his village law, Happosai is the only person in the world who can change his name.

Also Pantyhose Taro is one name, Like Momotaro. So he can't just go by Taro.

I mean like all of the Chinese characters are named after beauty products, musk fragrances or lingerie or whatever though right? Pantyhose, Cologne, Shampoo, Moussse... He fits right in.
But does this mean if we can legally get his name changed he stops being an antagonist?

And later, after the first time that he gets his ass bounced by Ranma, he returns to Jusenkyo and jumps into the pool of drowned octopus, adding tentacles to his transformed form

The weirdest part is this means all the pool curses stack.

Oh no he's still just an asshole anyway. Part of the Ranma formula is that everyone getting shit on deserves it in some way, which makes it funny instead of just abuse.

Happosai refuses to rename him even if beaten to a pulp anyway.

Everyone except Konatsu, who has never done anything wrong in her life.
The Bottle.
Between this last chapter and the Office Drama sidestories, I'm getting a picture of Fudo Kazanari who is ruthless in his dealings, has accumulated a fair bit of clout with the Diet, and is no great slouch in martial prowess either... but is hamstrung by the culture clashes of the new paradigms he finds himself facing. To a layman's understanding, Pantyhose Taro's monstrous form would seem like a slam-dunk, both for intimidation and for getting dirty work done. But in the context of Nerima, sending him after an old monster master like Cologne is simply insulting, not even worth a proper fight scene.

He still has plenty of resources at his disposal, and he's certainly capable of learning, but there's no getting around the fact that he's operating on unfamiliar ground for the time being.
Fudo: "Naturally, my superior genes allow me to be this powerful in my old age."
Fudo, meeting any other martial artist his age: "Oh."

Also, I can't help but wonder what leverage Fudo thinks he has on Taro to get him to work for him. Taro isn't really concerned with honor in the same ways most other Ranma characters are, and he's arrogant enough to think his cursed form makes him invincible at times. After the first time the NWC beat him, his "solution" to getting stronger was to stack more curses on his chimera form rather than train.

Point is, I smell a double cross brewing in that arrangement.

Fail to heed Rule One at your own peril.
(Even if he probably could at least fight the Wrecking Crew proper given Genjuro comparisons.)
Now, now, he hasn't actually done anything bad yet-
*glances at canon*
...Er, he hasn't threatened national security for his own selfish gain yet-
*another glance at canon*
...He hasn't been CAUGHT threatening national security for his own selfish gain yet. There, that works.
At least he's probably not leading an army of zombies. Or the God of Evil's son. Or running an evil team out of a submarine.:V

"I can expedite your name change" is an easy promise to make when you don't understand the nature of the obstacle to having his name changed.

Pantyhose Taro also doesn't seem the type to be a very good singer. Unless you like listening to mooing.....oh dear he's going to try jumping in the Pool of Drowned Whale isn't he?

I think it sounds cool, and while I am intrigued by the sword it's not like we're hurting for fancy weapons, but random utility things are always nice.
