Also, I know we spent the second of her Seals to save ourselves and Ayaka, can you remind me what Mordred's first Seal was used for?
Genuinely looks like I miscounted at some point, odd, for some reason I had thought he had used one. I've updated the post accordingly. Sorry ya'll. Looks like I misread an earlier post.
Ya the thing is Sakura hated magic and was never trained by Zouken. On top of the worms causing pain. So when would she have time to learn?
I imagine she picked up things here and there, canonically she goes on to be a decent magus just like Rin does. I have her as good as Shirou is at the moment, with almost entirely a focus on the practicals and a very weak Gandr.

Thank you OP :)

GET OVER HERE BABE, ITS TIME FOR ROUND TWO :D

Wait, so we have a seperate set of seals for each of Shirou's servants? I know we spent one seal to summon Medea once. If that's the case, then:

[X] [Summon Mordred]

[X] [Try and find Rin]

We don't stand a chance in a fight with Sabers A rank magic resistance.
Mordred may be able to manage it but their destined to kill each other so best case we lose Moe worst we don't even take out Saber.
I do feel bad about leaving Illya with Saber around but she has much better chances than we do.
Archer can't beat Saber alone and I'm not sure he can manage it with Medea, it's a maybe because she seems to lack infinite mana.
Going for Rin seems best because we need information.

Also

"Gandr!" Sakura screams.

A beam of black light crashes into the side of the knight, and to your horror she doesn't even stumble.
....was that an actual Gandr? I mean I guess she could have learned it from archer dream cycle, of emulate via Imaginary numbers or somthing?

I mean Archer theoretically could have learned how to use Gandr from Rin even if he can't cast it. So he may have chosen to teach Sakure because of how fucked this war is.

It was an actual Gandr.

I mean, if nothing else, everyone seems to forget that Circe has been hanging around for a couple days, we haven't had eyes on her 24/7, and she's definitely been planning some shenanigans, she could have helped Sakura out too!

That possibility aside Gandr has since Fate's release become basically the stereotypical basic of the basic defensive spells, it's not the more powerful Finn Shot version that Rin uses, even Shirou, SHIROU recognized it when Rin was using it. It's basic bitch training magic.

Well crap, guess I picked the wrong choice. Honestly I should have expected saber to overwhelm them so quickly that they couldn't get to the castle in time, having seen Heavens Feel, but at the same time I kind of thought that the witches could fly faster. Or at least above the trees.

At this point, I can't see any other viable option. Direct combat at this point with what we have is just flat out suicide, with salter being practicality impervious to magic and being strong enough to overpower Herakles. She can close distance too quickly to retreat, blast away all cover, and even immobilize us through sheer presence alone. And no matter how much we might want to reach Rin, to talk or beg or kill her, we still run into the same problem where Salter will kill us in the next 30 seconds, probably long before we can even locate Rin. Hell, it's not even guaranteed that she's nearby. It's not like Kirei was tailing Lancer in canon whenever he sent him to scout, he was probably miles away.

Mordred is a new element we can bring in to change the odds, someone who is built for close combat, especially for Artoria specifically. And it probably won't be to hard to point her in Salter's direction.

This is the only path I can see that won't guarantee Shirou getting murdered by Salter. Fighting her is suicide, don't even know if Rin is around and most likely won't work since she unleashed Salter upon us (the why and how willingly besides)

If it's fate for Mordred and Salter to kill each other then she will go like a GOAT against a version of her father none of us can hope to defeat.

To be fair, wasn't there a version of Shirou that won against Saber alter?
It should be mentioned that in Heaven's Feel, Salter was hit directly by a fully charged Pegasus, which even overwhelmed Excalibur Morgan, before Shirou came in and sneak-killed her while she was down. There is magic, and then there is being run-over by a phantasmal beast.
