This is a lot like Batman putting Joker in Arkam, only for him to escape and keep murdering people.
We just killed Joker in a way most people would consider impossible. This is a lot like Batman putting Joker in Arkam, only for him to escape and keep murdering people.
I have issues with letting them go, besides not punishing them, as they are literally going to go kill people after this. No ifs and buts about that.
Who are all just as insane as he was and are going to go on and form the Joker gang with similar body count. We just killed Joker in a way most people would consider impossible.
We are letting his minions go.
We could let them go as they are, since they're mostlySurely, there's a middle ground between destroying them and letting them go after giving them free medical care.
I'm thinking, I'm thinking. The best ideas I can come up are:Honestly, @uju32 @Yog I don't suppose you guys can propose something that does not involve just letting them go?
I'm thinking, I'm thinking. The best ideas I can come up are:
1) hand them over to Murphy / Library of Congress. I am fairly sure that the Library at least should have holding facilities for their level of supernaturals.
2) Hand them over to the Church. The church hides denarian coins, they have to have safe vaults / monasteries.
In both cases, we use intimidation to prevent them from acting out. @DragonParadox would any of those ideas be viable suggestions?
Ok, that works, actually. It should even placate Murphy. Library is the closest to a legal authority we have to hold them, and the best chance to a fair trial under anything approaching U.S.A. law they have. Would Gard and her guys be up to guarding them until the capture team arrives? Would that be within the boundaries of our deal with them? I am guessing it's less than one day.The Church is at the moment just father Forthil who does not have a goal to keep them in. By contrast the Library does, but yo or your allies u would have to guard them until a capture team arrived. Harry could whip up binding circles tuned to them and stick them inside for instance.
Weakness is really the wrong place to focus here in my opinion. These guys will go on to kill people and advance the interests of Emma-O. They have no choice but to do that.Approval voting for all actions that aren't killing the prisoners after we captured them, if you think that letting them go is going to be seen as weakness, you should think about the fact that killing them now can easily be seen as being willing to kill prisoners.
Please note I added a suboption of also writing a very short and to the point booklet concerning akuma containment. That's exactly to lower the probability of vivisection, and also of them escaping.Should have refreshed before posting, This is much better than executing them. As long as they don't vivisect them or something.
I don't like giving lore away for free, but that's probably a good idea. Please note I added a suboption of also writing a very short and to the point booklet concerning akuma containment. That's exactly to lower the probability of vivisection, and also of them escaping.
Yeah, you are probably right. It's still a good idea to give them enough not to be taken over by Emma-O through his minor minions.I don't like giving lore away for free, but that's probably a good idea.
Only for containment purposes though, if they're the type to cut people open for supernatural knowledge they'd probably still do it anyway.
We're out of combat, so a crown question to confirm might be a good addition as well.
I really hope the Library is reasonably above board, because mortals need something like it badly, but we don't really know them too well yet.
That's a concern, but I'd be more worried about them escaping or something than that. We're talking about true blue mooks here. They can bowl over mortals in a lot of ways, but unless the librarians are stupid enough to sit in their prison cells and let them keep throwing dice at them it should be fine.Yeah, you are probably right. It's still a good idea to give them enough not to be taken over by Emma-O through his minor minions.
Sounds suspicious to me. It came up earlier that swapping investments was somewhat involved as a process.Emma-O can remotely grant them massively super-human social skills and mind control powers when he sees they're somewhere they can use them.
