That Time I Became A Dictator Of A Small Asian Communist Nation Original

It is undeniable that, even with all the efforts in the world, Guangchou could never be a leading actor on the world stage as a peer next to powers like the USSR and the USA. Even if your home managed to fully mobilize every single centimeter of land in the most effective way possible and work...

Yep, the vote started all right. We just actually took our time and deliberated instead of rushing straight to a vote to bandwagon.

I don't see Mongolia on the list.

You're right!

I thought Mongolia would be more inclined to stick with the USSR, but I was wrong! After doing some digging apparently Mongolia was dissatisfied with the economic role the USSR assigned it (agriculture and mineral extraction) and undertook industrialization programs on their own. They'd definitely want in!

@MrRageQuit, could you swap over to the plan name? I've edited in the Xs and added Mongolia in the original post.

[X] CyPac: The Consequences Of My Own Actions

Does anyone know if there's ever been a word from the gamemaster on whether Che Guevara is still alive in this timeline or did he meet the same fate as in ours?

@CyberEnby any reason why the plan is ignoring the pacific islands?

Mostly because there's no way to secure them against the US funnelling endless amounts of money and weapons to anyone on the islands who is willing to shoot at the government officials who are pro-CyPac and we have no forces that can contest this. I'm open to arguments for it, I just assumed that it wouldn't be very successful.

@CyberEnby, Could you add a core principle about enviromentalism to the Pact? I don't know if it is accurate to depict enivironment as an issue of international interest in the 1980s but if the CyPact succeeds on their Developementalist objective then we are about to worsen global warming without a plan to solve it (except building nuclear plants).

That is, in fact, our plan. :V

Well. North Africa is probably going to pave over the Sahara with concentrated solar plants, but everyone else gets mass produced MSRs.

Yeah, but that's not the only issue, the flora and fauna suffered a lot of over-exploitation during the colonization period and most of the countries we are inviting to the Cypact used to be colonies, we could even make it part of our anti-imperialist propaganda.

Sure, but I just don't see the use making it a central plank? It's not going to be on anyone's radar yet, and the vast majority of countries we're inviting have way more immediate problems to address. I can change the wording to say 'sustainable development'?

Yeah, fair, sorry if I'm being too insistent with this issue.

It can work - "The International Initiative To Preserve The Glorious Splendor Of Earth's Biosphere For Future Generations" (TIITPTGSOEBFFG).

I've been nudging towards a national park system for the last little while but it's hard to get enough actions to spare one with China having trouble and healthcare in shambles.

I am going to try to fit in two supercomputer builds in turns 3 and 4, which will ease the action economy a touch, but that's strongly dependent on us finding the RP for it. We've been too busy pissing on fires to do much environmentalism beyond not building coal plants.
