At the same time, there is something else that is rubbing at her, and after a long moment, the young woman sighs. "I can't leave you alone with this thing, no matter how much I trust you."

"That's fine." Sei says simply, "I just don't want to leave it like this."

Samui snorts, shaking her head. "You and your friends are too kind for your own good, one day that is going to come back to hurt you."

"Perhaps," Sailor Moon admits, but there is a smile on her face, "And on that day, it may hurt, having my trust thrown back in my face, but that won't stop me from reaching out a hand in friendship even then."

Samui is quiet for a long moment when Sailor Moon says that, before she sighs, a soft smile on her face. "I wish more people were like you, Sailor Moon."

There is a not so quiet voice at the back of my head screaming not to do this.
But Naru wants to do it and it is the right thing to do.

So, the image of the duck pillow kid seems to be related to Kyoya Hibari from Katekyo Hitman Reborn! , but given that the character is a teenager in his series, it's probably to be considered an OC.

As for Bad Hat Man... apropos of absolutely nothing, the first thing that came to mind was this:


The Millenium Earl, from the D. Gray Man series. His MO is to find people who are grieving their deceased friends and family, and offer them a contract to bring back their loved one's soul. However, the "resurrection" actually takes the soul and encases it in a Dark Matter skeleton, becoming a creature referred to as an Akuma. Once trapped within the skeleton, the soul is then forced to kill the one who called it back, and then wear the corpse's skin as a disguise. The Akuma then goes on to kill more and more people, growing stronger all the while.

...I don't think that quite fits the situation, though. I'll keep looking.
 
So I reverse google image searched the little boy, and I thought I was onto something when I got the phrase "dessin manga petit garçon."

But then I plugged that into google translate, and it just means "drawing manga little boy" in French. So that's a bust.

Naru's identity has already gotten torpedoed for one of the enemy factions. I just hope that she will explain everything to her mother soon.

We should make sure Usagi stays with Naru as much as possible.
Incidentally, this should also make telling her mother an automatic thing. At the very least, about her magic.

- there is still a small amount of Naru's blood on her fingers that she would be use to prove once during all of this, and would create a personal action for Both Naru and Usagi that would have to be taken together to properly draw blood to give to MCAT

Naru, I'm not against telling the govenment who you are but there is someone who should be told before the govenment.

Please tell your mother something.

Hmm.. can we change this to Give Naru's Identity to the MCAT higher ups off the record?
Nothign offical, they still get the identity and Naru/Sei can stop by to provide the blood. (oh look, senshi representative stoped by to talk about something, and bring more of that stuff that breaks the slave colars) But common elements won't know it, and nothing is officially written down to prevent leaks.
