And because it's suddenly relevant again, here's an observation. I'm pretty sure we're still being recorded by the news crews. They've caught most of the fight, and if they are here, people are absolutely going to see what we do with/to Kintoleski.

That may or may not include melting him in a beam of blinding light and/or heavenly fire.
Probably not, even in the worst case scenario i doubt his passing would be that flashy, but it is a thought to consider.

I was not going to mention it, but if we are going to start talking about the merits again, i think it should be noted.

And that's why I'm voting to:

[X][Runoff] Banish him

There are too many agents/opposing forces that can either misinterpret our actions (MCAT, TMPD, many yokai, other Precure teams) or use it against us (IMO, the Dark Kingdom, scheming politicians, the Black Moon Clan later on…) if we practically kill an enemy that has surrendered to us, because that's what it will look like if we fail to save Kintoleski.

Shouldn't purifying not kill Kintoleski if we just have Naru do it? It didn't kill the Youma, it probably won't kill Kintoleski

To do that, we need Naru back up on her feet and at 100%, which is probably going to take a while. The purification option is to do it, right then, right now, banishment gives us the opportunity to find a less risky method to cut off his connection to the leader of Dark Fall and ensure he survives, which is possible to do without getting into spoilers for Splash Star.
