At this point I would be a hypocrite if I didn't take this. The less they know about our seals and our other abilities the better.

Plus, swording is what we use more often and finish hard fights with. And it's our main stay in our entire fighting style.

Plus Plus, Gai will never shut up about the spring time of youth around us and that amuses me.

Having had time to consider it, the misinformation we might get from this is ultimately going to be limited. So it probably is better overall to apply this to our core strengths.

That said, I'm in the camp that does want to get more well rounded in general.

Shit that's a strong argument

[x] Sealing Art: Chakra Burst Network. This network of extremely thin seals, corresponding to your muscles, allows the use of explosive bursts of chakra for physical enhancement. Each precisely controlled burst of chakra gives the user a burst of strength, acting like an early version of Tsunade's Chakra Enhanced Strength. Though inferior to beginning-of-part-two Sakura's usage of the technique, it can be improved.
I was rereading and noticed this as a option for reaching Chakra Control A rank in a chunnin exam update.

Imagine Tsunade's reaction if we copied 2 techniques off her with sealwork and Shisui ability, in between copying a bunch of other legendary ninja.

I can already hear it 'You going to create cursed seals holding part of your soul to plant on zetsu next kid? Damn Uchiha were all sandbagging.'.

Eh, after some consideration, I think I'm going to let love-of-Sealing overwhelm possibly-unique-upgrade. Especially since, the more carefully I consider them, the more I think most of the upgrades could actually be trained for directly (albeit with some effort).

(Doubly so if Sasuke is a Genjutsu-expert.)

I'm hoping to get Seals to A-Rank and start making progress on Speed to S-Rank by the next major quest/fight.

Thanks for the update, @Tekomandor! Here's the typos I saw, if you feel like fixing them:

This is related to another reason why I changed votes: Hisana already feels like she 'stole' a ton of things from Sasuke, particularly regarding clan leadership stuff.

That, plus the fact that Sasuke is focusing somewhat on Genjutsu, means that if such a thing were possible, I'd rather this trait went to him.

Don't know if this has been discussed before, but Special Jonin is not a standard rank. It's 'This person will never be good enough to be a Jonin, but they're pretty damn good at one thing and we should recognise that.

It's a dead-end rank, you cannot be promoted from Special Jonin.
That's not canon. In canon, it's a way to give more authority to specialists who are not ready or don't want to be jounin for one reason to another. Hisana was given the rank so that she can order around chunin in a seal related emergency.

"But even the three of you we can promote will aid our village immensely. Teams such as your own are designed to operate as units long after their genin days, but your teachers are dearly needed for the moment. So leadership will have to fall on our new Chunin for most missions. Would Shikamaru Nara, Hinata Hyuuga, and Hisana Uchiha come up here,"

Bit of an interesting note- Tsunade promoted one person from each of Teams 7, 8, and 10- effectively meaning that each team has a potential Chunin leader for when their teachers are away on other missions. I get the feeling we'll be seeing a few missions where its 'team 7 minus Kakashi, who is busy'.

It does make me feel a bit bad for Gai, as the only one who didn't get any of his team promoted.

I like swording, sword more.

They're pretty good and have an extra year on their belt, I'd guess they all make chuunin inside of 6 months.

Luck of the draw. Neji broke a leg against Gaara, and the Invasion didnt let his other team members shine.
Gai canonically had Neji as the first jounin of the Konoha Twelve.
I suspect they'll make up for lost time soon enough; field promotions should be a thing.
