DP wouldn't have even made High Valyrian and Low Valyrian carry the distinction between the two words and associated the "media bias" connotations with it if people didn't complain about the modern usage of the word giving it those connotations.

Eh, it was more a case of me thinking it was a cool linguistic twist than anything else.

Anyway good night guys, see you all in the morning with the curia, including but not limited to where it will meet how it will meet and maybe a few political rituals just to make the members feel useful.
 
The word count feature when you write a post is full of jokes now. It's even got a Douglas Adams reference! Is this a new thing? And is there a post where they're all listed? I was typing a vote, then got distracted trying to find all the numbers which have been replaced.
 
I didn't expect gold fish to become a react or the word count to start memeing when I logged back in after work today. Fuck it, if this isn't a sign that we should pull something sort of silly then nothing is.

We should transfer some of the Whisper safes we have in use to the MoP and craft them some Books of Whispers so that they can monitor and respond to public opinion/rumors in real time. The first item even comes with built in analytics, so we could dip into the fel power of target advertising tactics when manipulating public opinion.

Truly we are the darkest timeline. :V

Just to round out their "big brother is watching" spell/item list:
Seek Thoughts
Rumormonger
Find Quarry
Reveal Secrets

Which allow them to scan crowds for particular opinions or ideas, trace those ideas from person to person, find the exact location and current direction/means of travel, and compel people to admit having secrets about a particular topic then forget that you asked.

Anyone (other than us) trying to use low level dupes to screw with public opinion would have a hell of a time if we had people running a few of these in key areas.

It'd be even easier if we could swap out the typical spells added to a Crystal Ball for rumor monger or seek thoughts since they offer built in filtering that detect thoughts doesn't.

Seriously, what's wrong with the Ministry of Propaganda? The word doesn't have nearly the same negative connotations in this time period that it does in the modern day.

Off topic but the recently acquired Eruphyte template can explicitly make plant creatures sentient Int-wise (unlike Advanced) and Tintargurill have the problem of only having 2 INT but now we can fix that!

Time to start spamming them! Yes I know they are hyper specialized plant units that don't offer much support but think about the Fey tears! :V
