I am grateful so many lords give us the excuse to strip us of their lands, titles, and lives. That's making fulfilling the grudge of the Pld Gods a hell of a lot easier.

I still remember the bind we were in when House Grafton was on the chopping block but they were loyalists who fought and died for the Targaryens. Good thing that was resolved.
 
Graftons converting to OG worship was top-tier.

One of the low-key moments of the quest which didn't get focus since it had to jockey for position with conquering half a continent.

I am still smug we pulled that off. Getting the lord to sacrifice Corbray to the Old Gods was something I never we'd pull off at the time.

We should grow him a tree once this is all finished, just to add insult to injury for the Seven.

-[X] Deploy a Lindworm with a Greater Bloodclot Mold and 10x Snatching Terrors with Greater Bloodclot Molds to capture them. Have them protected by Mindblank by Nirah so that nobody can later ask questions.
-[X] Declare House Vance of Wayfarers Rest to be traitors against the realm and all their titles forfeit.
-[X] The children will be taken into protective custody for the time being, and depending on the fate of their parents either returned to them, offered to the main branch of House Vance for fostering, or given a place in an Imperial Orphanage.
 
The Seven are honestly kind of fucked. We are antithetical to their form of existence in every way.

While the Imperium is a secular state our citizens are polytheistic as fuck. Even the Rhllorites are probably double dipping into multiple gods. The main issue the Faith of the Seven has is that they can't really fight well against the mercantile nature of the gods we have promoted. How do you compete against "Gib X amount of pigs for good harvest" without offering a better deal? You can't. Blood sacrifices are antithetical to the Seven and that's gonna get them to fall into irrelevance in their current state. Best case scenario for them is reforming to becoming more mercantile. and compete with the other gods...which suits our interests well enough.

@Goldfish, the issue here is that the Vances will likely all die while resisting capture. But I'm no longer willing to deal with people getting small children as armor.

We had so many lords who had no small kids and folded, but if course, the house we can conveniently kill to fulfill the deal with the Old Gods has three of them.

Ohhhhhh. i thought the snatching terrors were of a different line than the necro harpies. just making sure, the lindworm is a giant dragon/worm thing with wings right
