I mean.

I didn't really want Tuxedo Mask to tell us his secret identity if he didn't want to.

I just wanted him to tell us WHAT he is and what he's even doing. :p

Short of a natural 1, dialogue with the Precure girls was always guaranteed to pass. A toast to what is hopefully the start of a beautiful partnership and friendship for these two groups of fellow magical girls.

As for Tuxedo Mask, oh well. The Sailor Senshi have been managing just fine without him, in any case. Better coordination would have been a bonus, not a prerequisite.

Well good news is that I completely misunderstood the question, and the +4 was in part a bonus based on Tuxedo Mask not wanting to unmask.

So you failed the DC to finding out his identity, but the actual question 'What even is your deal' you passed.

Which means that I had to rework the conversation, but I honestly think it is better for it.

Are you going to include that into the conversation? Where TM thinks they want him to unmask, but when they clear that up, things go smoothly?

Yeah, I only meant "who are you" in the sense that if you asked "who are you" to Usagi right now she'd say "Sailor Moon, guardian of love and justice and enemy of the Dark Kingdom" or something.

Not only would learning his secret identity have been a major stretch goal that I arguably wouldn't even want, I would have specified more directly in that case.

Though I totally get the misunderstanding, and Gore's right, it'd be hilarious.

I do.

I want jerk boy and odango girl to go "YOU!!??"

GM Lunaryon is saving that moment for maximum comedic impact.

The Dark Kingdom has some kind of bastardized magical Geiger detector they use for dangerously Light Kingdom aligned energies.

[waving it over Jadeite...]

"Picking up lots of Light radiance, yeah. I do not envy you getting clocked with that attack, boss. Also... uh, something about the sidebands on the detector here. I'm picking up considerable residual lesbian energies."

Jadeite is stalking the corridors of the Dark Kingdom back to his chambers because he has had A Day.

Youma 1: Do you taste metal?

Youma 2: Yeah, what is that?

Jadeite makes a 180 turn towards the hospital now sweating bullets.

Didn't think a sailor moon quest could be this good.
oh, a good quest can be about any franchise, really.

Like, the (relatively) famous sage of eyes's CORE is basically a greatly expanded highschool dxd's quest (+ some tokyo ghoul elements), and one of the last quests of the month here on sv (and one of my favourites) is a cultist simulator/My little pony quest.

And there's a lot more, with the most varied settings. It just takes the right qm.

yay, he's finally talking to us!

Cinderella Caravan Epilogue 1 of 3 - Starting the discussions
[X] Plan Lunchtime Can Wait, Concussions Are Important
-[X][Cinder] Try and heal Akane x2
-[X][Cinder] Try and calm Ranma down
-[X][Cinder] Ask Two Questions of Tuxedo Mask
--[X] Who are you?
--[X] Is there a way to contact you? Because if we're going to keep attacking the same places and bad guys like this, we should probably start coordinating.
-[X][Cinder] Ask Two Questions of the... Pretty Cure was it?
--[X] Hi! I'm Sailor ______, [SNIP DESCRIPTION]. Who are you? I mean, aside from what you shouted out in your intro. Good intro! And, uh, thanks for getting the power back on last week I guess? That was probably you, wasn't it? Blackout, rainbow beam, power comes back, y'know?
--[X] Who was that Kabuki guy and what did he want, anyway? Our villain said he tricked your villain into attacking us...
The Zakenna gives a groan... only to then pop like a balloon. The demon scatters into hundreds of tiny creatures, all crying out "Sorry! Sorry!" as they flee, each bounce that the little creatures do makes them grow smaller and smaller until they fade entirely, vanishing and leaving nothing behind.

"What...?" Sailor Moon asks, staring at where the creatures disappeared to.

"Finally." Tuxedo Mask says, leaning down and picking up his sword. "Caliburn. Back where you belong."

The battle seems to finally be over. "Mrrow?" Everyone turns to the source of the sound. The redheaded Girl kneels next to the shattered crater in the stage, looking down at the girl with a very worried look on her face. The cat turns, looking to the Senshi, before meowing again.

Sailor Moon continues to stare at where the tiny creatures that had burst from the demon they fought had disappeared for another long moment, the girl's mind trying to understand what just happened. Her confusion only lasts the moment however, before the girl starts, shaking the question from her head for now. There are more important issues at hand.

"Mercury." Sailor Moon calls on her friend as she hops up onto the remnants of the theater stage. The blonde girl carefully makes her way to the crater near the back of the stage, where the still flame wreathed Ranma crouches, purple slitted eyes entirely focused on the battered and broken girl at the bottom of the crater.

The Cat-like girl's attention is drawn to the two Senshi as they approach the crater, carefully kneeling down by the edge. Ranma hisses, one claw tipped hand raised and ready to swat either of the girl's if they do anything that the girl doesn't like.

Unfortunately, there are limits to every spell. They may be limits of power, or limits of scope; Limits of skill or knowledge, but every spell does indeed have a limit, and Mend, but it's nature as a roughly crafted spell dedicated to a single purpose has many limits. Limits of near every kind.

Of those limits, there are two that are truly important. The scope of the Mend spell is very narrow, and bordering on shallow. Equally, the spell's greatest strength, and greatest weakness is the fact that is draws on the skill and the knowledge of the caster and the target.

In short - One of Akane's arms was broken, as was her other leg. Several ribs were cracked, and the girl probably had a concussion of some sorts. Even with all three of the Senshi adding their knowledge together into the strange healing spell, the best that they are able to manage is handling the worst of the injuries... And even then just to a degree.

Akane's arm is no longer broken, but it is still fractured in three places. The girl's leg is in much the same state, but the fractures are smaller, and there are only two of them. It will still hurt, but the girl should be able to walk on under her own power once she awakens.

The girls may have been able to achieve a little more, but Ranma still seems to be a cat in all but body, and cats are ornery creatures. Jupiter hisses lightly at the long, bleeding scratches running up and down her arms. The towering green Senshi had made the mistake of coming between the cat and her view of her friend.

"Sorry..." Usagi whispers again, looking away from the girl as she channels Mend into Jupiter's arms. "Again."

Sailor Jupiter grins, watching as the golden light shimmers out of Usagi's hands and over the wound that Ranma managed to carve into the Senshi's transformed state.

"It's fine." Makoto says, wincing a little, "I should have been a little more careful around all that fire." The girl says, her eyes turning to where Mercury was doing much the same for the two other magical girls that Usagi was doing for her, while Tuxedo Mask stands to one side, having picked up the growling cat-girl by the scruff of her neck and keeping her at an arms distance.

Ranma is no longer trashing about, her arms crossed and looking away from the ally of the magical girls with a pout on her face. "Owww~" Cure Black complains as Sailor Mercury's hands glow blue over the girl's injury.

"I apologize for this hurting." Sailor Mercury says, "I don't seem to be as good at this as Sailor Moon is."

"It's..." Cure Black starts, before hissing for a moment, shaking her head. "It's fine. My brother's best friend has a cat."

Sailor Moon pops back up to her feet, quickly checking the green Senshi over one last time. "Well, that looks to be the last of it. I'm not sure why you can't use Mend on yourself, we'll have to talk with Mercury at some point and see if we can figure out why... Can you get Cure White?" The girl asks, "I've got some questions for Tuxedo Mask that I would like to get answered before he goes and disappears on us again."

"Yeah." Jupiter agrees with a smile, her hand momentarily shimmering a soft green before she moves over to the dark haired member of the Pretty Cure in order to heal her.

Sailor Moon makes her way over to Tuxedo Mask, making sure to keep a fair distance from the smoldering cat girl. "Alright." Usagi says, looking over to where Akane was still unconscious. "We've done everything that we can for the girl, so you should be okay to let Ranma go now."

Without a word, Tuxedo Mask does exactly that, letting the girl drop to the ground. The lands feet first, nearly blurring over to Akane's side, where she sits back down, glaring at everyone around her.

"So..." Usagi starts, "Is there anything else I can call you other than Tuxedo?"

"I'll admit that I am partial to what the Pretty Cure call me. Mister Tuxedo, but I have a feeling that you are asking for something a little more personal."
USAGI - Who are you? - 4 + 14 = 18
TUXEDO - I go by many names - 8 + 9 + 4 = 21
"I..." Sailor Moon starts, before pausing, a slight frown on her face. "I mean, I was... but not like that. You don't have to tell me your secret identity if you don't want to."

Tuxedo Mask nods, grunting.

"And to be completely honest, I'm not sure I'm okay with you knowing my secret identity, or those of my girls." Sailor Moon continues, even as Tuxedo Mask raises an eyebrow. "So far you've been fighting against the Dark Kingdom, just the same as I have, but I don't know what your goals are, or for who you are fighting. I don't know if I can trust you with something as important as my family and friends."

"You're thinking this through." Tuxedo Mask says in response, but there is a smile on his face, and not an unkind one either. "I'm not ready to tell you my civilian name, but there are a few things that I can tell you." The man pauses, before glancing over to the others. "However, before I am willing to say anything, there two outliers that I am not willing to speak in front of."

The man is carefully staring towards Ranma, who has begun lightly poking at Akane with a smoldering hand.

Sailor Moon sighs. "I have to admit, the redhead was a good fighter at first. "No idea who they are though."

"And that is exactly the problem." Tuxedo Mask confirms, "They could very well be spies for Jadeite, or another of the Dark Generals."

"I don't think so." Sailor Moon argues, shaking her head. "There is certainly something going on there, and I am going to have to figure out what at some point, but for now, they are just another pair of victims."

"I'll take your word on it for now," Tuxedo Mask says, "but I'm going to be keeping an eye on them in the future, and if I see something that puts your mission or mine in danger..."

"Oh!" Sailor Moon claps, "Yes, yes. That is the other thing. This isn't the first time that we've ended up hitting the same place at the same time."

"True." Tuxedo Mask admits,

"It probably won't be the last either." Sailor Moon continues

"Also true." Tuxedo Mask butts in again.

"If this is a thing that is going to keep on happening, then wouldn't it be better for us to have some way to talk to each other and communicate?"

"You have a point," Tuxedo Mask begins, "However the girl is starting to wake up, so let's hold off on this discussion for now."

True to your sometime ally's words, you can hear a soft groan, followed by a mumbled "God. I don't think my everything has hurt like this since the last time Daddy took me a training trip." Akane slowly opens her eyes, blinking in confusion as she looks up at the bright lights of the theater ceiling. "How long was I out?"

"Only a few minutes," Sailor Mercury says, "But the battle is over, and you've been injured."

"Is Ranma okay?" Akane immediately asks, as the blue haired girl slowly pushes herself up into a sitting position.

"I..." Sailor Mercury starts, but before the senshi can say anything, Ranma preens as she all but prances around the edge of the crater, her head bobbing back and forth with a smile on her face.

"...Am I seeing things, or is Ranma on fire and not being hurt by it?" Akane asks, as she starts to push herself to her feet. For a moment, the girl falters, hissing in pain as she looks down at her leg. "Ah. A fracture. That's... Annoying."

"You're taking the whole fiery cat thing remarkably well." Cure Black notes from where she and Cure White are sitting, watching the cat girl with a slightly nervous look on her face.

"This isn't the first time that this has happened..." Akane mentions as she hops up out of the crater, wincing again as she lands. "At least the cat part, the whole being on fire part is new. The last time this happened the two of us were locked in a pit with a tiger."

"Locked in a pit with a tiger?" Cure Black asks, sounding even more confused than she did before.

"Long Story." Akane says as she glances around the room, wincing a little with every step. "I need to find somewhere comfortable I can sit down to try and coax Ranma out of the Nekoken."

The door to the main hall opens with a long, heavy creak... before it falls off it's hinges, collapsing to the ground with a heavy thud. Sebastian enters the room, sparing only a moment to look down at the door, before his eyes track across the room, from the flattened seats to the shattered stage, and the hole in the ceiling. "I shall have to inform Miss Alice and the Master of the damages..." He muses aloud. "Perhaps it would be cheaper to just tear down the theater and rebuild it. I do remember the Young Miss mentioning that she was thinking of remodeling even before the Caravan was taken."

Sebastian turns to Sailor Moon, "Miss Sailor Moon, I feel it prudent to inform you that the police are on the way," He explains, "Given the location of the Theater, I would expect them within ten minutes. I am unsure of how you and your companions wish to interact with the police, so I have not informed them that you are here." The man glances towards the smoldering cat girl, "If you do not wish to speak with the authorities, and need a small amount of additional time, I am certain that I will be able to delay them for a few more minutes."

Ten minutes is more than enough time to finish up the discussions that you are already planning on having, but the arrival of the police still introduces a wrinkle to your plans for the night. Do you wish to speak with the Police over what happened tonight?

[ ][Police] Meet with the Police
- Expect a sizable increase in Attention if you do this, I still haven't done the rolls for the event preceeding this, but with the addition of meeting with the police, you are all but assured to reach the next level of Attention.
[ ][Police] Do not meet with the police

IF MEET WITH POLICE,
[ ][Cure] You are already planning on talking with the Pretty Cure about their villain, you might as well try and convince them to meet the police with you, stand together as allies against evil and all that
[ ][Cure] These girls are a year younger than you are, putting them in the spotlight might not be the best idea, you can take the attention off of them by claiming full responsibility for what is going on.
[ ][Tux] Once more, you are trying to convince Tuxedo Mask to at the very least be willing to communicating with you, and that might be easier if you all meet with the police together
[ ][Tux] However, you have a really solid feeling that he is not interested in meeting with the police

[X][Police] Do not meet with the police

I'm thinking we don't need the extra attention yet and can probably cover off the more immediate DK plots now, while they start to shift to more things like the gym, which have less chances of disastrously interacting with the police like before. Plus, want to talk more to the Precures and TM (or will he be 'MT' in this timeline as 'Mister Tuxedo'?) and I think they're a bit more freaked out by everything and likely to want to leave.

The lone protector has only ever been the wrong decision in this quest. Teamwork makes the dream work and all that.

Meeting with the Police is the 'logical' thing to do in this kind of situation. We'd be able to inform them on our side of the story, but that doesn't guarantee that they will believe us. At worse the Senshi will be treated as another cult/terrorist organization at war with the DK, which would greatly complicate things. On the better side of the scale... See, grown adults, especially sexist male police officers (like the ones we've been shown), would find young female vigilantes with magic/superpowers as...problematic at best and a threat at worst. Working with them wouldn't be out of the question, but it would be tense, grudgingly, and a 'don't call us, we'll call you' kind of relation.

Also, I'm not a fan of going to the police. We've done a good job of keeping people safe and stopping the DK's plots, so I don't feel like's there's a pressing need to team-up with them, especially with the limits they try to place on the Senshi and the other possible issues above.

Third, I'm really digging the street-side aspect of fighting evil and the struggle of it. They'll be a time to do things more officially and professionally, but right now I think things are fine as they are.
