Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
Well, considered as threats:
-The Wailing Wind is likely to be hard to stop and stay stopped, because the Wind comes and goes wherever it pleases. It probably wouldn't dedicate effort towards harming or impeding the party, think of it as random attrition to the party's resources if it cannot be distracted or diverted.

-The Stolid Glacier is more like a landmine. Its going to do what its going to do. You figure out whether what you are doing would get in its way, then get out of that way. Think of this as a time tax, time spent winding around it's path can be considerably taxing...or we might find some easier compromise.

-The Smothering White, by the nature of the spirit is always going to be personalized. Unlike the other two, which are embodied as uncaring forces of nature, the White is the experience of death's embrace within the cold. Its possible to get through completely unhurt, but if aggressed in some way they would fight harder and more spitefully than the impersonal forces would.

Given Zeqing's statements regarding how it's the Cold's nature to seek out Warmth, and by taking the Warmth for itself, Ending its source, I'm inclined to think Smothering White, the spirit of the purest cold, will go on the hunt for the sources of warmth that come within range regardless of whether its aggressed upon or not. Her insatiable hunger/loneliness would need to be deflected somehow for the group to pass through her territory safely.

[X] Seek the wailing wind.
I think I am mostly interested in Ling Qi seeing more expressions of wind in high end arts. I don't believe it will have to do with lftw, just that a lot of art modifications are coming up, and I like wind.

I can't decide which one I want so I'll let the dice pick.

1 - Wind
2 - Glacier
3 - White

Edit: I'm curious to see how unlike Zeqing she turns out to be.

Hanyi brought her a book of rough charcoal illustrations in a foreign style, depicting a people that lived in the high snowy mountains who worshipped the lethal and beautiful spirits that lived there and cultivated through exposure to the fierce blizzards that raged on icy peaks.
---
Ling Qi had found Hanyi's finds interesting but… a little disturbing frankly. The unnamed mountain peoples had been rather explicit in their depictions of the various self mutilations that were part and parcel to their cultivation. She didn't think herself squeamish but… no she didn't feel regret in knowing that those traditions weren't a thing any more among civilized people. She would remember to be much more cautious with spirits like her mentor Zeqing if she encountered them away from the Empire's influence though.
Ling Qi: "Oh cool, Zeqing nr. 2!"

Huh, looks like is neck and neck for the Wailing Wind and the Smothering Snow (Not its actual name, I know, but it was a clear missed chance for alliteration).

I wonder if yrs is gonna do a tiebreaker with this one or just have them both dancing together when we try to say hi
