Senshi finds glass head of Sailor Mercury

Mercury: SCREAMS!

Moon: Well, this was a bust.

Jupiter: The talent show did say they could help you get ahead in life, I didn't realize they were being quite so literal.

Mercury: STILL SCREAMING KICKS THE HEAD AWAY.

Luna: Mercury! Don't lose your head!

...Alas, Poor Mercury, I knew thee? :p
FTFY. For some reason people keep thinking the line is "Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him well," when it's actually "Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio." I don't know why (not an avid scholar of Shakespeare), but maybe it's like "Beam me up, Scotty" - another misquote that was never actually said.

It'd be pretty neat if there was at least one intact "statue" in a good pose - if there's a way to make sure it won't turn back into an enemy, it'd make a great decoration if a dedicated home base is ever acquired.

So from the pov of that negaquest that battle was the first actual solid supernatural event over the quests in-universe 4 year run

Kimiko Quest Reaction!

Bronzeprince: Uh, Solaryon, what kind of genre-shift are you pulling here!? Like, we signed up for a fun little police quest, and we were doing pretty well for a while. We built up our trusted teammate, got our weapon certification, thwarted the bank robbery, Totem shot the human trafficker right in the face. We even finally, FINALLY managed to fulfill the thread's deepest desire and tell Daisuke to make us some damn coffee! (That "promotion" we got for neglecting to kiss up to the higher ups makes sense, but it still stings a bit)

Then we get a lead on a drug-dealing terrorist organization that goes after children (standard Big Bad material). Then we get to the raid, Daisuke comes to steal our credit as usual, and Sudden Monster Movie out of nowhere! And suddenly we get a Crit on Martial and Learning, and suddenly we're Harry Potter? Gosh, I hope we don't have to start dressing up in costumes and shooting out rainbow beams.

Solaryon: Well, I did tell you that increasing the Learning stat may have additional benefits further down the line. As for becoming full-fledged magical girls, you're not on that level yet. You've got one spell that totally drains you, and Hagrid hasn't shown up to give you directions to magical training. Unfortunately, if you don't want another wipe-out, magic seems to be the only reliable weapon against your new foes.

Hopefully, Sailor Moon can pick up the slack while you prepare.

RealityBag: Ha, very funny. Anyway, I'm going to see if Google brings up any hints for Dark Kingdom and...wait. What were the other operations that the police had busted before this raid?

CowellJoker: Um, a fortune teller and a cram school, I think. Why?

RealityBag: ...Oh. Oh no.

Cinderella Caravan Part 7: Meeting the Boss?
[X][Room] try and find anything interesting in the room
"What is she...?" Makoto asks, before Usagi screams again, the blast shattering more of the replicas. The glass demons rests against the fake moon, which glimmers like a mirror, then is a shimmering shine, and the Demon is gone.

Once the replica's creator is gone, the demons suddenly come to a stop with the sound of glass against glass. They are now, no more than glass statues of the Senshi.

Usagi looks across the large now empty courtyard, wincing as she slowly rolls her injured shoulder, before placing her hand on the injury again, channeling her magic into the wound a second time in order to try and further accelerate the healing magics. "Alright." Usagi groans, "We should probably look around in here." she says, causing the other two girls to look to her.

"What?" Makoto asks of her new friends.

"This place clearly isn't like the other places that we've hit. Osa-P, the House of Fortune, the Crystal Seminar, none of them had any... weird magic space hidden away in them. Or, at the very least, if they did we never managed to find them." Usagi explains a little further, "So we need to look around and see if we can find anything that we can hopefully use to figure out more of what the Dark Kingdom is planning."

"Isn't that... Stealing?" Makoto asks again, a question that does draw Usagi up short for a moment, the girl thinking about it for a few long moments.

"No..." Usagi says, shaking her head, "Cause, this place isn't a regular part of the building, the Dark Kingdom made this place, so everything here wouldn't belong to the Cinderella Caravan."

"There is also the possibility that there are dangerous things in here," Ami adds, "And if regular people were to find them they could hurt or kill themselves, or others."

It takes a long moment, but Makoto nods. "Alright, if this stuff definitely belonged to the Dark Kingdom, or if it is dangerous, I can understand taking it."

With that, the three girls start to move through the strange moonlit courtyard.
2, 6, 22, 34, 42, 51, 54, 61, 76, 84, 95
2 - Creepy Glass Head of Sailor Mercury
6 - Drawing of a Key
22 - Uncut Gemstone of Unknown Worth
34 - A small stained glass image of Jadeite
42 - Information gathered by Youma about Sailor Moon and Mercury
51 - A floppy disk
54 - Detailed almost stalkerish information about Jadeite
61- Lead on Shapelin Gym
76 - Lead on whereabouts of the Clock Shop Demon
84 - A strange crystal that tries to absorb the magic of whoever holds it other than Makoto
95 - A strange tome written in a language that looks sort of like High Lunar, but that the Senshi can't read
The are two major problems with searching through the courtyard - The first and far more obvious is the fact that regardless of the time, it is the depths of night in the courtyard room, with a full moon hanging in the center of the discrete ceiling designed to look like the night sky.

The second problem is not one native to the room itself, but is instead the numerous chunks of glass scattered across the ground from the different Senshi replicas that the pair of Youma had set against the girl.

"Urgh." Sailor Mercury groans out as she picks up an entire glass head that is a copy of her own. "This is a little macabre, isn't it?"

"I think it's kind of cool, honestly." Usagi says as she leans over Mercury's shoulder, "It looks just like you." The girl laughs, "That's better than what I found, to be honest." The girl admits with a laugh, holding up a piece of fabric. Unfolding it and showing it to the girl, Mercury's head tilts as she looks at what is in Moon's hands...

"Is that a key?" The blue haired girl asks, looking at the rough charcoal drawing.

"Even sillier! It's a drawing of a key!" Sailor Moon explains with a laugh.

"Why would anyone make a drawing of a key?" Makoto asks, approaching the two, a large blue stone of some kind in her hands.

"I have no idea!" The blonde senshi practically cheers, before looking to the stone. "What's that there?"

"I... think it might be a Sapphire," Makoto says, "But I'm not sure."

Usagi looks at the rock for a long moment, before a massive grin breaks across her face, and with a flash of light, the Senshi of Love and Justice is once more just Usagi Tsukino.

An Usagi Tsukino who happens to have a mostly empty school bag. "We can stick everything we plan on keeping in here," She says as she puts her bag down. "Moon Prism Power." Another flash of light, and she is once more Sailor Moon. "I'll regrab and retransform once we're all done."

Both of the other Senshi blink at that, before Mercury gives off a small laugh. "I would have never thought of that." She admits, causing Moon to rub the back of her head.

"I noticed it a bit back," Usagi explains, "The fact that anything I was carrying when I transform just disappears until I transform back."

"That's really interesting." Jupiter admits, making sure to carefully put the stone into Usagi's schoolbag. The three continue their search through the room, and it isn't long before they begin to find more odds and ends through the room.

Usagi finds a slate holding a beautiful piece of stained glass artwork, one that has the image of Cendrillon kneeling before a tall thin man with short blonde hair.

"Really..." Jupiter asks, drawing the attention of the other two senshi - The Senshi of Thunder and Courage is... holding a tri-fold pamphlet. Moon and Mercury are curious, and upon looking over Jupiter's shoulders, Usagi can't help but giggle. There, on the right is a relatively accurate doodle of her - There is a little arrow pointing to her tiara, with a hastily scribbled note that her tiara is dangerous.

On the other side is a similar doodle of Mercury, with it's own notation and information. It seems that the Dark Kingdom has been trying their best to learn everything that the Senshi are capable of, and have started making pamphlets to explain what they know. "Well, I have to admit that that is a much easier way of sharing information." Mercury says, holding up a floppy. "Found this under a futon over behind the wall over there." Mercury explains pointing off to one direction.

"Meanwhile..." Usagi starts, looking more than a little nervous, "I found this." It was a little pink book. "Every page is filled with some guy named Jadeite. The times that he wakes up, what he has for breakfast, where he goes, every single person (or maybe Youma) that he speaks to, what he does for lunch, what times he goes to the bathroom. It's kind of creepy honestly."

Jupiter grimaces a little, "I guess we should probably grab it anyways, if whoever the Youma was obsessed with is part of the Dark Kingdom, then it might contain some useful info, no matter how creepy it is."

Usagi looks down at the book again, grimacing as well. "...Do I really need to?" The girl whines, but the two other senshi nod. "...Fiiine..."

"It has a decent chance of being useful." Mercury repeats, to which Usagi nods with groan, putting the book into her bag, before the three separate again to begin searching for anything more they can find.

After a few more minutes of searching, the Three Senshi finally return to the center of the room. In Ami's hands is another small book... However, unlike the book recording every passing movement of Jadeite, this book instead has notes in it.

A mention of how a Doctor Macht and a Mister Heben are working over at Shapelin - Supposedly, according to the notes, the two Youma have decided to develop a far slower and methodical means of collecting energy. The book brings up that this is some kind of 'Course correction' brought on by the efforts of Sailor Moon and the police sniffing around places that they shouldn't be.

From the sound of it, they originally were planning on doing something that would draw a lot of life energy out of those who came into the Gym, but recent events have necessitated a change. What that change is, it doesn't say.

There is one other entry in the book - This is very new, according to the date written just yesterday, there was a Youma in town that had set up a store selling clocks. Apparently, the store had been raided by the Police. The entry almost joyfully states that casualties were extremely high. Apparently, due to the raid, the store is having to move.

The Youma apparently is planning on setting up shop again somewhere to the South of Tokyo, but that Youma hasn't found quite the right place yet. "This are things that we are definitely going to have to look into..." Usagi says, as she looks over the information.

"Yeah," Both Mercury and Jupiter agree. After placing the second book into Usagi's bag, the three look to the last two items that the Senshi managed to find.

"So can either of you read this?" Makoto asks, holding out a thick and heavy looking tome. Across the front of the book is text, and... While the letters on the front definitely look familiar, the actual text... Usagi and Ami shakes their heads.

"That first letter definitely looks like an 'M'," Usagi says, before shaking her head. "But the rest of it..." She scratches her head. "It's not High Lunar, I don't know what it is. Maybe Luna will be able to tell what the language is."

"And what about you, Usagi?" Ami asks, looking over to the team's leader, who is holding some kind of shimmering stone in her hand.

"I found this weird stone that keeps drawing on my magic." Usagi explains, "I don't know how it does it either."

"Can I see it?" Ami asks, holding out a hand. The girl passes the stone over, drawing a surprised hiss from Ami whose hand nearly flinches back from the lightest of touches. "Ow." The girl grouses, "It shocked me."

"A shock?" Makoto asks, reaching out and grabbing the stone from Usagi instead. Lightning snaps and pops off the stone. "Yeah, I can definitely feel that the thing is trying to take magic from me, but the more it tries to shock me the hungrier it feels... Well, I'll empty it before we stick it in your bag just to be safe."

[X][Cinder] Go to the Managerial Offices to Speak to ???
Upon leaving the strange midnight summer room, things take a turn for the far more... odd.

Ding. The three senshi pause, glancing up to the ceiling where the sound comes from. "Pardon the intrusion." A soft, feminine voice calls out. "But could the three young ladies who are actively aware on the premise come to the Managerial Offices. I would like to thank you for assisting in the reclaiming of the Cinderella Caravan, there is much that I would like to speak with you about."

"What do you think?" Jupiter asks, looking to the two more experienced magical girls, "Do you think this is a trap?"

"...Maybe," Mercury admits, but she shakes her head. "I don't think so though, I have a feeling that this is something different."

"Either way..." Moon starts, looking up towards the ceiling. "I think we should go. There is a definite chance that this is a trap, yes, but if that is the case I would rather stop it here rather than leave it for the people who work here." She shrugs, "And if it isn't a trap, then we don't have to agree to anything."

"That... is a fair point." Mercury admits, as she hits the button to call the elevator. Thankfully, there is a single chime as the doors slide open, and the three enter into the Elevator.

Usagi quickly hits the second from the top button, and ever so slowly the elevator makes it way up, once more stopping at every floor as it goes.

The door opens to the Managerial Offices, and the three enter into the halls of the actual building, rather than the false floor that they had been on prior. Entering into the managerial floor, it is quickly clear which room they are looking for. There might be the rest of the floor to check, but directly across from the elevators are a pair of large, ornate doors that when closed their doorknobs form into the four leaf clover symbol that represents the Cinderella Caravan's parent company, the Yotsuba Media Group.

Taking the lead, Sailor Moon approaches the doors, carefully but firmly opening them and entering into the room. While there are all the general amenities that one would expect from an office - A desk and chair, a computer, even a vase with a flowers in it. However, that isn't the part of the room that draws the attention of the three Senshi.

No, that would be the small table set up to one side of the room. Sitting there is a young girl - A year, maybe two younger than Usagi herself, sipping quietly from a cup of tea as a tall Butler with silver hair and the most impressive mustache that any of the girls have ever seen stands in the background, his eyes carefully watching the Senshi as they enter into the room.

Dressed in a beautiful yellow and orange dress, the girl's brown hair is done up into a pair of buns, with a few small clover shaped pins in each bun. Her eyes are the color of burnt honey as she puts down her cup of tea, before motioning to the three seats opposite her. "Greetings." The girl says cheerfully, "Won't you sit. Sebastian can have tea ready for you if you desire."

With a bright grin, Usagi quickly slides into the center of the chairs, across from the girl. "Yes, please. Thank you."

"Moon," Mercury hisses, even as she sits down to the girl's left. "Be polite. This is Alice Yotsuba." Both Moon and Jupiter look over to Mercury, clearly neither of the girls recognize the name. "The Heiress to the Yotsuba Media Group that owns the Cinderella Caravan."

"I would say don't worry about it," Alice begins with a smile, "But one of the reasons that I wish to speak with you does have some relation to my father's estate." Now that the attention is back on the young heiress, she gives a small laugh, "To begin properly, my name is Alice Yotsuba, heiress to the Yotsuba Media Group." The girl introduces herself, "First of all, I would like to thank you for... dealing with the interloper that had taken over my company."

"It was no trouble," Sailor Moon says, completely ignoring her still bloodied and painful shoulder. "I am Sailor Moon," The girl says motioning to herself, "To my left is Sailor Mercury, and to my right is Sailor Jupiter."

"It is very nice to meet you all," Alice says, "I do wish it could have been under better circumstances,"

"The same here," Mercury says, with a nod.

"So you wished to speak with us?" Jupiter asks,

"Yes," The girl confirms, "However, first there is something that I do need to confirm. You did deal with the fake Mikan, correct?"

"Yes, we did." Moon confirms, noting the way that the girl's brow furrows when she hears that.

"I see. I had hoped that removing the source would cause my employees to return to their senses, but it seems that whatever..." The girl pauses here for a moment, as if she isn't sure of the next word she is about to say. "Magic, has taken hold of them is more difficult to remove than that."

"I was afraid of that," Mercury confirms. "We had hoped that dealing with the..." the girl glances to Moon for a moment, before continuing, "source of the problem would automatically resolve the issue, but given that that isn't the case, then at least we already have a plan for dealing with the majority of the effected, tomorrow during the Talent Show."

Alice blinks, before she nods. "Ah, of course. Everyone has become entirely focused on the Talent Show, which means that they are all going to be at the same location, allowing you to deal with the effect at the same time, correct?" Moon nods, "If that is the case, would it be possible for you to deal with those effected on the premise?" She asks, "While dealing with them tomorrow is... acceptable, their families have been worried over the ways that they have been acting the last few days."

[ ][Stardust] Heal those who are at the Cinderella Caravan
[ ][Stardust] Wait for tomorrow

"Speaking of which," Mercury says, looking at the girl and her butler, "How did you manage to avoid the effects?"

It was the butler who stepped forward at this, "We have been monitoring the building around the clock ever since the... creature first took Mikan's place, and we thus alerted when you infiltrated the building."

"That makes sense," Moon agrees, as she looks to Alice, "You mentioned that there multiple reasons to speak with us?"

"I do apologize," Alice says, "We do seem to keep deviating from the topic. I wish to pledge my support." The girl says simply. Far too simply for the statement itself.

"I... What?" Usagi asks, her composure completely lost.

"There are strange things happening across the world, and it seems particularly in Japan." The girl begins to explain, "Mysterious deaths are rising across the board, Cryptid sightings have increased nearly ten fold, suspicious memory loss that just so happens to coincide with technological malfunctions are increasing. Something is happening, and whatever it is, it is not a good thing." The girl confirms, "There isn't anything that I can do to try and stop these horrible things from happening, yet... Here you are, having done just exactly that here today."

All three Senshi blink at that, and Mercury's eyes start to sharpen as she begins to realize what the girl in front of them may be offering. "I have outline three separate plans that I believe may be of assistance to the three of you, and I would like your input before making any decisions - Let us start with the smallest of the options and build larger, as each of the greater options builds upon the prior options."

"The very least that I can do for the three of you is..." Alice begins, "Pay you a little of my allowance on occasion to try and assist in your works, but that feels like a gross misuse of the options I have... Admittedly, it would be the least intrusive option as well."

"Moving beyond that, it would be far easier on the both of us for me to create a company through which I donate funds to you, given the... Strange effect that is preventing me from being able to commit your faces to memory, I assume that your identities are a secret and you do not want them to be known."

"Finally, the last of the three options and the one that I will admit I am the most interested in - I am offering my services as a full managerial suite for you and your offense against whatever this threat against the world is. I can definitely not only form a company through which you will be able to be paid, but also acquire a base of operations from which you will be able to work, and I will be able to assist in acquiring just about anything that you desire." The girl pauses here for a moment, "Note, that doing this will shine a bit of a spotlight not only on you, but on your opponents as well. But as your fame grows, there will be chances for even more monetary gain in the future."

I notice there's no option for choosing medium support or major support. Was this intentional or a mistake?

And she seems to have completely left out the fact she is/was a magical girl...
Not exactly familiar enough with the series to know for sure...

[X][Question]
-Do you think you could identify other areas impacted by the DK?
-Is there any way you could get us a secure location to practice our skills?
-Would you like me to see if you can learn magic?

Go big or go home... but I don't think we need a full-on managerial staff yet.
