...Can't say I care for the rumors at this exact point.
We're in homerun for Westeros, what would distractions off-plane or from Essos get us, exactly?

i mean, we still need to finish the westeros rumours aswell. we got sidetracked in north rumours due to other assassination

I'm also looking forward to a rumor post. Momentous stuff happened, pantaloons were shat upon, etc.

Think about it.

Viserys launched a decapitation strike on the high nobility and monarch of a court of super-beings, one of which had godlike power.

The Faith must be shitting themselves. The Reach must be shitting themselves.

It implies two things: Viserys doesn't see the Most Devout as much of a threat, since he certainly didn't launch this decapitation style strike on the Conclave (or thought it wouldn't be worth it).

And he already obtained the fealty of most of the Reach, like a third of it personally.

... that probably doesn't make it particularly better, in fact people might think the parallels are rather intentional. "This is what I would do if I found you legitimately threatening to me".

Can't we have all the "holy shiet"-reactions in the final pre-Westeros rumor post, anyway?
We did the most fun stuff (CoS, revealing shit about Lannisters...) in the final days of the past month, the rumor-mill wouldn't have had the time to run in Westeros anyway.

Ten days is plenty for something this huge. Fey of the Court of Stars were everywhere throughout the Reach, and all of them would have known instantly.

The Court of Stars went from a couple thousand strong with plenty of powerful creatures to a broken, fleeing court in the span of 10 days. We just shat on the balance of power in terms of supernatural Westeros.

So does anyone else think that Tywin is going to teleport his curse-dragons directly into a Viserys' coronation? That seems like the kind of thing he'd enjoy. It's also a good way to force us into fighting them, since running away on live mirror vision would undermine our image.

As if we wouldn't have all of our ridiculously killy Air Force up above during the coronation and Forbiddance cast all over the place.
He drops forces in the middle of our coronation?
We style on him and massacre them all.

[X] Rumors of Westeros
Okay, no.
Summarize.
Rumor of the whole Westeros is okay, but we have enough stuff to trudge through without spreading few daily posts we get thin across it.
Fair enough. Plan updated.
Actually, I think this deserves to be its own thing. Rumors from every kingdom before the Conquest (because we've already started the month off that way). This is something a lot of us have been looking forward to, and we can spare an update to do it properly at its own pace.

If they survive a couple turns of our direct artillery I would count them lucky.

I'm actually worried about collateral damage if they try to attack.

  • [X] Adventure/Combat Reports:
-[X] Sarnori Pacification -- Continuation: The Void-touched Olethrodaemon that regulated much of the proceedings among the Undead of Sarnor may be gone now, but too much of its accursed legacy still lies in that land. Have your agents scour the lands, working with agents of the allied Sarnori Kingdoms, to end the Mindless Undead still in the area, and to, perhaps, seek out any Sentient Undead who hide still in the wake of the sound defeat of the corrupt hosts but two months ago.
----[X] Nettles & Sheepstealer (Level 12); 1x Adult Mind Dragon (CR 15), 1x Very Old Myrkdreki Dragon (CR 15), 11x Veteran Erynies, 11x Lejnths, 5x Verdant Phoenixes (CR 15), 50x Verdant Kingfishers, 10x Verdant Ravens (CR 6), 2x Wild Hunt Archers (CR 14), 2x Wild Hunt Scouts (CR 16), 8x Praetori Squads (Total of 72 Praetori and 8 Light Warstriders deployed.)
-[X] Operation Pest Control MK II: Send forces to the apparently shut entrance to the Underdark you found in Sothoryos. Have them scout the tunnel system, confirm that it is sealed, try to eliminate all pests within and finally retrieve the bodies of the slain mages for a Chain Resurrection. The expedition will be equipped with a set of Titan's Tools which they can use to more thoroughly seal any passages they locate, or for any other uses which may present themselves, along with a Wayfinder for navigation and investigation.

----[X] the Misfits, Darkstar, Kennos, Thoros, Mors, Bonifer, Velen
-[X] The Hill Fey Chose to Die On: The location of the former main stronghold of the COurt of Stars is of interest to you as a future outpost into the Feywild. Protecting it from an opportunistic takeover by any locals is but good sense now.

-[X] Scouting the Neck: Send some people to investigate the situation in the Neck, which Fey there are and how they are aligned in the wider Fey politics. Take special note of any information relevant to the movement of large armies, such as a potential host from the North trying to march through the Neck to the Riverlands.

It is like the Court of Stars was trying to turn Westeros into a J or K RPG.

And it would be disturbing how a continent of people conditioned that way would see the world.
