Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

Like CRX here I think.
[X] Clockwork Blades (Cai Renxiang, Xia Lin, Xia Ren)

I actually have an idea from a civilization whose elected officials get more power the more populance support they have

Could work in threadverse too, deification by election is not completely out of the question...
Basically how the cultivation of the undersea folk at the north works.

Hoping this is some introspection on the difference between what CRX has learned from Cai arts and what those two have learned/become. I'd like to get some more insight into CRX.

I thought it operated via caste, not popular acclaim?
It is based on the Polynesian concept of mana. You gain mana both by your lineage and by your deeds. We see this in the Under the Sea sidestory:
running strong with the mana of heroic deeds.
One of lesser mana than a King would be tainted by mere proximity, let alone by trading words with them.
And things Yrsillar said on Discord:
while I would need to do more research to fully lay it out, theese guys sytem is a lot more based on deeds, so it's more having to live up to an maintain the image you create of yourself
their system is more mutable and 'free' but you also risk losing your power a lot easier if you fuck up
Inoke has 'a king's mana' so he isn't susecptible to taint or tapu in the ways others are (instead he's vulnerable in entirely different ways)
Mana requires participation in community and acting within your communal role
hence Inoke having 'a King's Mana'
which makes him stronger the more kingly things he achieves
So you probably couldn't get a king's mana unless you were born into the role or unless the job opened up somehow and you proved yourself equal to it.
