So if I'm reading things right, there is just the Apostasy Devil, one Judgement Devil, one Erinyes, and two heavily damage Bone Devils remaining active?

@DragonParadox, how far away from us are the Apostasy Devil and the Judgement Devil?

We're kinda horrible to DP in how much shit we dig up from 3.5/Pathfinder.
And he's kinda horrible to himself in how much of the shit we dug up he allowed to stack at once.
We're near-impervious to any encounter that isn't 2+ CRs higher than the group's.

There's sufficiently prepared and sufficiently paranoid.

Once it was determined that everyone really was out to get us, we decided both of those things didn't exist and there's only "more prepared" and "justified precaution".

In hindsight I think DP should have limited a lot of things 3 or 4 years back.
Number of effects on one item, no slotless items, permanancy limited to a handful spells, stuff like that.

But he didn't and we are still having fun, so that's fine.

Edits done, she is still wounded, but not falling to earth unconscious.
Also it's ironic you forgot Teana's ability to escape death as a core class-feature, considering she had a whole character progression which mentioned how she was scared of death due to being understandably traumatized by having a horrible afterlife hanging over her neck like a Blade of Damocles for so long, that even without the threat of that any longer she's still a little reluctant to go adventuring.

To the point that she straight up found away to substitute her body with a Shadow Clone in order to feel more comfortable with the idea of a lifestyle of danger and mortal combat, interrupted by relaxing periods of doing paperwork and giving lectures. :V

Even with those restrictions, people would have still found ways to optimize. I think if your D&D players want to optimize, and you can account for that just by pulling out different encounters, you should probably just let them. It's a problem if they expect you to do additional work, but @Goldfish does all of the boring stuff already, and the internet makes it easy to reference non-standard material.

Back on topic, I'm still not sure what the plan is here.
This is a nice crew, enough to kill some people, but certainly not our current party.
Even if the Deimavigga is souped up, it's not enough.

These devils should have run or called for greater reinforcement when we showed off Timestop, so either there is a plan going on, or they are expecting even more Devils (maybe from the other cities), or they all massivly failed their WIS-rolls.

Or it could just simply be the straight forward answer. We have been operating in the shadows for months, sending only competent people who have not been showing off and have not been really picking fights that weren't ambushes of isolated infernal agents.

This is outside of our usual MO.

I'm not saying they have to recognise us, seeing a Time Stop is propably enough.
There are not many 9th circle mages and it's unlikely any of them would travel with a weak party.

Here's what I've got so far.

[X] Targaryen Demon Force, Go!
-[X] Viserys targets the Apostasy Devil with Freezing Glance as a FREE Action, then as a Swift Action casts a Targeted Greater Dispel Magic on Garin to specifically Dispel the Dimensional Anchor effect on him. He then targets the Apostasy Devil with an Amber Sarcophagus spell using Wild Arcana. He commands his Summoned Demons to physically harass those Devils nearest to them.
-[X] Dany targets the Apostasy Devil with a Chains of Light spell. She Counterspells as needed using Divine Defiance, or her Battlemagic Perception buff and Ring of Spell-Battle of they have not yet been expended.
-[X] If the Dimensional Anchor was Dispelled from him, Garin Shadow Steps to the Judgement Devil's location and makes a Full Attack action against it, single or dual-wielding as he sees fit. If necessary, he uses his Belt of Battle to gain another Full Round Action to finish off the nearby Bone Devils. If the Anchor has not been Dispelled, he once more launches a double salvo of Darkbolt spells, the first Quickened and the second Maximized, all targeting the surviving Devils.
-[X] Mereth attacks the surviving Erinyes, then switches focus to the Apostasy Devil, while Richard and the Seeker immediately focus on it.
-[X] Benerro acts as he deems appropriate, targeting whichever Devil appears most in need of destruction of capture.
-[X] Teana casts a Targeted Greater Dispel Magic on herself to specifically remove the Dimensional Anchor effect. If anything tried to attack her after that before she can receive healing, she uses Celerity to Teleport to safety.

Viserys' Time Stop wasn't necessarily obvious as a Time Stop spell. Her cast it as a Swift Action and theatrically slammed his staff into the ground. From the Devils' POV, after that all that happened were five Demons immediately appearing. It probably looks more like he Summoned them, which is admittedly still quite impressive.

@Goldfish, is it possible to do this without also stripping Garin of his buffs? And is it worth taking the time to do it when we could focus everything on the Deimavigga?

[X] Goldfish
Yes, a Targeted Dispel Magic can be used against a specific spell effect without stripping all of them.

We need those Dimensional Anchor spells removed. Better sooner rather than later, IMO. Viserys is still using Freezing Glance and Amber Sarcophagus against it.
Is the Deimavigga even in sight?
It looks like he just used his BOundless Reach to attack and did not yet show himself.
Ah, damn. Forgot about that in my rush to murder. Okay, editing plan.

He must have sight-range to Taena, since he can't scry or otherwise far-view our peeps under Mindblank.

Propably in a nearby building?

I guess I more meant that the straight forward answer is they didn't have a stronger response prepared, possibly because this group decided we were a distraction two rounds ago when we flipped the board with those twin Chain Dispels.

If you're wondering "where's the kaboom?!" it's probably happening with the other party right now, who are understandably busy. The only good news is they sent around twenty devils, which isn't a terrible number to have pulled away from their defenses, as well as the local chief lieutenant.
