Depends.

The regular parts, magister villas and all that will be worth a fine sum.
But I have no idea how stolen idols and statues and such will be counted and if they are valuable in an easily sellable way.
The Dothraki also got obscene sums as tribute from the various cities of Essos on a regular basis. With the khalasars mostly dead, all that wealth is in Sarnori hands now.

Yes, but did they gather that wealth?

Vaes Dothrak was a marketplace, but aside from trading for the things they wanted I never got the impression that the Dothraki hoarded valuables.

Either way it amounts to the same thing. If the wealth was in Vaes Dothrak, the Sarnori have it now. If the wealth was individually hoarded among the khalasars, the Sarnori have most of it now.

Canon Omake: To Ride the Poisoned Water
To Ride the Poisoned Water

For a city as diverse and special in so many ways as Sorcerer's Deep, who can claim to have those living in it from all walks of life all over the world and beyond, even seeing a Dothraki youth rushing through the streets with a determined look was not all that surprising. Ever since the creation of the great brides that connected the various larger and important islands of the Stepstones to the mainland even the remaining horse lords could confidently cross the sea, what they referred to as 'poisoned water' for their mounts could not drink it, without fear or need to rely on boats to travel. Many of whom travel to the Deep for work and opportunities in this changed world.

Ezolat, he who learns in his tongue, was just one of many Dothraki in the city, however he was on the younger end and the reasoning for his rush was for something that likely many of his fellows would find mad. Of course, with the raise of magic and the loss of their plains, most of their people, and even their holy city many surviving Dothraki were at least a little mad, made less so if under the banner of Dragon Khal and those khalasars sworn to him.

Some among his people even claimed that despite their losses that his new age was for the better, for magic beyond evil blood sorceries were possible to learn and use for the betterment of all, his people had access to mounts with the blood of the earth within them and could even fly through the air like mighty birds of prey, and there were even whispers that soon the Dragon Khal would lead a mighty reconquest of the Dothraki Sea! Of course, for now none of those things interested Ezolat.

He slowed his pace as he reached the docks, half to avoid running into any that worked in one of the busiest parts of the city and half to look for his contact. He soon spotted the triton in question sitting by one of the piers and rushed over with a smile.

"Heh, almost thought you wouldn't come," the triton admitted as he spotted Ezolat come before him. "You got the payment and the amulet?"

"Yes to both." Ezolat said as he handed a heavy coin pouch to the triton, who started to count it out, and showed off said amulet which had been imbued with magic hat he would need for what he planned to do. The triton nodded as he confirmed the payment was all there, turned to the sea and made a series of clicks. Not long after a beast that Ezolat still found equal parts mysterious and beautiful rose from the depths.

Ezolat had seen several of it kind ride and jump beyond the docks, which is what had captured his mind and heart, and for months he had worked hard in any job he could find that payed well and made good use of his skills just to save up for this day. He even sold his old mount for this day, something which made his fellows look at him as though he had truly gone crazy, or worse heretical.

For what greeted him as it breached the surface and flicked the water from it's finned mane was no doubt a fine horse, simply one that had been bred for what many of his fellows considered a place of nothing but death and taboo.

"She's well raised and trained, one of the finest mounts you can get that swims through the water if I do say so myself," the triton said with pride as he patted the creatures musclar side. "Still, rather shocked you want her. From what little I know your people don't trust anything born of the sea," the triton said with a slighly annoyed look, likely being on the end of distrust and superstition of Ezolat's people.

"Then they are foolish and I plan to prove them wrong." Ezolat declared confidently. "For too long we Dothraki had unjustly feared the poisoned water when there should be no place we shouldn't be able to ride. This new age has given use mounts connected to the earth more than any other and can even let us conquer the sky, and this is simply another for surely the form of a horse is truly holy to be made to fit every land beyond our own." Ezolat reached his hand out and pet the horse's head confidently.

"Just be sure you have the water breathing amulet on you when you do or else you won't be ridding anywhere for long," the triton joked. "So, want to take her out for a spin?"

Ezolat was already a step ahead of him as he mounted his new beast and with motions he knew since he was a child directed her forward, only this time his mount dove. Thankfully Ezolat had practiced using the amulet and had back his instinctive desire to hold his breath, instead letting the salt water freely into his throat and only feeling air.

He felt giddy as he and his mount rode in several circles before jumping upwards, mount and rider as one as they took on the world.

Now Ezolat just needs to convince a few hundred of his fellows to join him and he can become the first Sea Khal. 🐎

Solid bit of world-building and a good reminder that the Dothraki are more than the savages the Sarnori see them as.
They are quite philosophical, the horse lords.

"What is best in life?"

Classic Dothraki... I bet if we had a course on Philosophy at the University--bam... you'd have a Dothraki professor.

I like to think that Dothraki would feel vindicated that horses are holy creatures what with how there are horses of all kinds, if with different forms and such, across the various planes of existence.

How much y'all wanna bet that now Ezolat is going to ride over to the Underwater District and try to chat up the Triton girls? :p

Part MMMDLXXXVI: By Silent Council
By Silent Council

Sixth Day of the Second Month 294 AC

No need to press, you decide after a moment. It is better than you had hoped upon leaving Sathar. If you can but deal with Sarnath, which you had intended regardless, then there will be one less city that needs to be taken by force of arms. That alone will spare the blood of your legions even if the hosts of Mardosh do not march out with you.

"It is agreed, Lord Protector. May our next meeting be under the walls of Sarnath, those who call themselves its lords cast down for their crimes. I ask only for an envoy such as the reputable Eskil to accompany me onward in the hope of finding more who would deal in peace rather than work bloodshed and murder upon the world."

"Know that we Mardoshi have no great skill in the art of peacemaking, but I shall send a herald with you to serve as a mark of the pledge given this night. May we all see a better dawn and a worthy foe to face beyond it." The last is a sigh, almost a prayer, though onto gods long dead if it was so.

As in Sathar it takes a few hours longer for the herald to arrive, though unlike in the halls of Queen Namaaru there is naught to wait upon but benches of hard stone looking down upon training yards where the dead battle the dead in endless preparation for a battle they have already lost three and a half centuries ago.

"I think we should speak to the prince before we leave," Dany speaks up unexpectedly in the silence of your mind. "We left him with words of hope, yes, but no solid pledge or promise. I'm afraid a darker hand might offer him false solace in his sorrows. Despair is a path to the temptations of daemons, perhaps even worse things."

"He is but one and bound in place by the lord of this place,"
Teana counters. "It would be difficult to ask to see one we should officially know nothing of, and if we should be spotted in a second secret meeting it could unravel all we have achieved here."

"I know... I know..."
Dany shakes her head. "I just have a hollow feeling in the pit of my stomach that will not be convinced by reason. Mayhap it is just a worry without cause, I've cast the bones and seen nothing ill in the fires, but we would not be seen thus either, would we?"

"You think there are warded agents of the Void this far east, or west however you want to call it?"
you ask, remembering the Shadow beyond Asshai and the Five Forts, both as far from here as the Wall if nor further.

"I think there could be, they might be abroad and loose in Sarnath after all, and..." your sister hesitates. "If I were trying to to drag this place into death and despair I would not start with the Lord Protector, but with the powerless and the bitter, with Zadin."

What do you do?

[] Trust Dany's instincts
-[] Visit the prince in again in seccret and warn him against the dangers of the Void
-[] Try to visit the prince openly and warn him against the dangers of the Void

[] Leave well enough alone, it is only a short time before you can come to a more definitive solution and it is easy to jump at shadows surrounded by so much death and sorrows

[] Write in

OOC: Once again more italics than I would have preferred but not so many that I felt it would have been worth getting rid of all of them for out of character convenience like large Bloodraven discussions.

Here's an edited version of the chapter, DP.

Why do I have a feeling we are going to interrupt a Void agent visiting the Prince and cause a scene anyway, but then as we will have proof that they were trying to drag the city into the Void through the Prince, the Lord Protector will march with us instead of dithering?

...in advance, @DragonParadox, I FUCKING CALLED IT.
