I would also point out one flaw I see with "Plan Plowshares before Swords": It uses Sorcery for the public celebration we are planning. And thus, it will involve our civilian population bearing the risk of suffering the majority of the side-effects if anything goes wrong. I mean, I'm for using Sorcery where it can potentially bring great rewards and the risks are managable. But I've been pretty vocal about not using Sorcery where the narrative risks are mainly on our populance if we can in any way avoid it. And besides, I don't see as much benefits using reality-bending powers there, at least when compared to our industrial/scientific/military/etc. projects.

Don't mix Sorcery and partying, kids. That way might lay horrible regrets in the morning.

Wanting to do the Modernize your Dogma action is sane, as is wanting to Speak to the People and show them VM isn't some kind of perv. But doing both on the same turn seems... unwise. Dogma is DC 75 and Speak is DC Unknown - both of them should really have both of our +Preaching heroines on them, but Niamh only has one action. It seems more like VM to try talking first before handing down scripture, so that's the one I'm in favor of doing this turn.

I'll certainly push for the Dogma action next turn, after we've talked to people - and if it's gone because of auto-doctrine, it'll likely be something inspired by our big hospitality project, and a doctrine of hospitality (likely good for diplomacy with visitors) wouldn't be bad.

I am pretty sure Speak to the People is just our normal Preaching action to boost recruitment dice, and will be available every turn.
 
The plan I ws voting for has literally one vote, so I might as well change to the closest plan that has a chance of winning.

I don't like this plan I think it has many flaws, (uses sorcery where it shouldn't in particular) but I like it more than treehouse.
