The idea that Ling Qi would need spring imagery to represent the warmth of her love baffles me. One of the great pleasures of a cold and stormy winter's day is sitting by a fire with friends/family and that type of imagery seems much more in keeping with Ling Qi to me especially given her Winter's Hearth Reclamation scene in the last update. The herald of spring should be a joyous role full of hope, which seems alien to the person usually described as "gloomy girl" by Sixiang. She's not a bright, bubbly, optimistic person - she's a cool, polite and reserved woman until she gets to know someone, and only then does she thaw and show warmth.
Regarding this vote, I would like to emphasise the stealth aspects of the art as it is very likely to be our only stealth art before too long (since we aren't likely to develop ENM), and I feel that it has been one of the most consistent aspects of Ling Qi's portrayal in both the last quest and this one, and one which I don't want to be lost.

A great update. I can't wait to see just how big of an increase Laughing Flight of the Wind Thief will have on our capabilities, especially in the Ji Rong duel. It's going to be great.

Spring is to soon, we are not ready narratively to go with the change from winter to spring. Its premature to try to make LQ view hope and warm when she hasnt gone and resolved the problems back home, mother, zhengui, etc. The foundation is weak, right now it isnt the time for this change. It feels rushed.

Because adding offense (or defense) in a Mobility art will only weaken it when we could simply use a pure offense (or defense) art which we already have.

It will always feel rushed if no small steps are ever made. I don't view this as a baptismal change, just the first step on a new path.
Not exactly the first, either.
It's been there since Ling Qi's understanding of the harsh depths of winter included "but ends can lead to new beginnings."

Yes an art called Laughing Flight of the Wind Thief is incredibly solemn and serious and involves no warm happy feelings whatsoever you can tell because it has laughing in the name.
