[X] Beware the Deal
-[X] Point out that the change the fey bring is illusory and behind it is stasis that would bind him away from the best abilities of mortal minds, their creativity.
-[X] To be bound by the narrative of the Court of Stars is to trust their Queen far more than what a lord may ask his bannermen, it is compulsion of the mind and spirit however subtle.
--[X] Furthermore, while the Fey have indeed fought against darker creatures, you would not put it past them to refrain from placing mortals in their debt for such actions. And a debt to a Fey is no light thing. We've seen as such with how we found the Tyrells.
-[X] "No decision you make will ever be truly your own, Lord Leygood, nor those of your bannermen, your heirs, or the smallfolk who live in your lands. You will merely play the part most fitting for the story the Court and its Queen wish to be told."
--[X] "Stories need heroes, but they also need villains, enemies to be overcome. Who is to say that your heir might not be chosen for that role in the not so distant future? Would you rest easy knowing that the next Lord Leygood could become the villain of the Court's story on a whim? That to fit the narrative, he would be twisted in mind and spirit so that the next bunch of valiant heroes can storm his keep and slay him, no doubt moments before completing some foul ritual?"

@Duesal, this addition might fit in your plan.

Thanks, added that. 👌

Aw, he interjected before Viserys got to the part about either metaphorically burying him in ridiculous amounts of money or literally in a shallow grave! You're not supposed to do that. :p

I hope I can get this done properly, feeling tired from going to bed really late last night.

You've already written three parts today, DP, counting the new Hell's Heart chapter. No need to overwork yourself, dude. We're spoiled enough as it is.

I am somewhat concerned the update might feel rushed or hollow because I write it tired. Would you guys mind if we leave it off at two parts today?

Is there any character sheets or other bakcground stuff to vote on?

I think we're up to date on character level up votes. I just need to use the ones we've already voted on to update the relevant character sheets (Shara and Sarell).

Yeah OK stopping, thanks guys. It feels a little weird to do this because it's not really a hard update to get out I'm just really tired. But it's also that I'm trying to pay more attention to updates like this so as to keep them engaging give interesting vote options etc...
