Targaryen loyalists in the Eyrie, if there were any, would have been drawn to House Royce by now.Hmm, this brings one albeit very unlikely form of situation...
What if there are Targaryen Loyalists in the Eyrie? Bidding their time to strike? Will they get caught in the crossfire?
Unlikely. If this works out just as planned, it's far more likely that Lisa will be attacked while on the road. The Eyrie itself is too hard to attack for the remnants of Bryndens forces. This incidentally maximizes the confusion if he swoop in, throw some evil looking shadow spells around and then Teleport out.Hmm, this brings one albeit very unlikely form of situation...

If this doesn't help out, we will at least have weakened any Arryn loyalist faction that would be problematic in the post-conquest order.
It honestly isn't that convoluted. We've pulled off far more complicated plots.honestly I just think we should stab Blackfish and his men and move on, this is a pretty conveluted plot and i feel it's going to come bakc to bite us

i mean that i can get but then also having it so that said knight attack Lysa, extracting her and her kid and having Arryn loyalists and Faith people fight each other just seems a bit muchIt is being delegated because Blackfish is not a big enough threat for us to directly intervene but a big enough nuisance that he is affecting our plans in the region. Stabbing him won't really change the political outlook. Hell it makes him a Martyr. Casting blame on Lysa thorugh some deal she made...well that will weaken the Arryn's greatly.
This is a single false-flag attack aimed at smearing a political rival.honestly I just think we should stab Blackfish and his men and move on, this is a pretty conveluted plot and i feel it's going to come bakc to bite us
Look. If you don't like the exfiltration part I can gladly remove that. This is a bone tossed to you in particular for complaining about the potential death of that kid as collateral damage.i mean that i can get but then also having it so that said knight attack Lysa, extracting her and her kid and having Arryn loyalists and Faith people fight each other just seems a bit much
The Blackfish directly stands in the way of us deposing House Arryn, which we've been committed to for a very long time now.I don't generally keep up with the thread plans, so could someone explain why we gotta shank the Blackfish? I didn't think the Tullys were one of the Andal families that had to be wiped out.

I like his canon character too, but there's not much justification to risk keeping him alive when the plan would run so much smoother with a legitimate corpse to point at. If we really wanted to we could use a resurrection as a carrot for House Tully after we reveal the Riverlands are getting split up. Blackfish might even accept, if only to spite his brother in death.Ah, true. Maybe it's just my like for his canon character shining through, but why don't we just turtle him and stick him in a zoo for a while? Pin his disappearance on the dark fey that Lysa Arryn is consorting with. We could 'rescue' him down the line or something, and then he'd be useful to us in some fashion or another. If he's not on board with the restoration he can just never reappear.
Our plans involve ousting his sister and his nephew and settling the Mountain Clans in the former lands of House Arryn. Trust me, he will not join us after we did all that. It is a waste of time and resources that can be used elsewhereAh, true. The Mold might be a bit large to fit into a toddler without killing it.@Azel, what if, rather than slaying Brynden, the Greater Blood Clot Mold and its accomplices arrange things so that it appears he is successful against the Undead Giant? With the magic and abilities they have access to, they should be able to put on a good show.
The trick would be to make it look like a very close battle, one which severely injures Brynden. Then the Mold could take the opportunity to Infest Brynden. It won't be difficult for the Mold to play the part of a barely conscious Blackfish.
From there, Brynden's own men could be induced to return him to the Aerie. Once there, the potential shenanigans are nearly limitless. It could dispose of Brynden in order to Infest Lysa, for example, or her "son". I wonder how difficult it would be for the Mold to puppet Robin without arousing too much suspicion? He's apparently an odd child, so an imperfect performance might not be that remarkable.
