Threads Of Destiny(Eastern Fantasy, Sequel to Forge of Destiny)

Voted best in category in the Users' Choice awards.
I'm really not too worried about the assassins. There biggest strength is attacking before you know they're there. The only reason they hurt us so much the first time is we didn't see them until the blade was at our throat. With two stealth cultivators of at least equal stage here they're not nearly as dangerous as they could be. Even if we lose track of them, the mist is active which will make it harder for them to approach.

Kennel and the Brute seems like the option that is currently where Ling Qi would shine the most.

Sure, she can tango with the assassins, especially with Ji Rong, but it's not really her speciality. The Drillyard feels like it would have been more of a Zhengui thing if he had more Qi? As in, Zhengui would really shine in fighting a shit ton of enemies. Ling Qi would too, but she would tend to do it by destroying buff structures... which is what Kennel and the Brute is about.

[X] The shrine and the Dancers (hinders enemy stealth attack efforts, morale damage to enemy)

[X] The Kennel and the Brute (Hinders Enemy buff structure and tracking/intelligence gathering)

Can't decide between the two so I'm approval voting

Also 2 hour moratorium's over, feel free to vote

Sticking to what I said before. The Dancers are a lesser threat when they're not a surprise and we have enough spirits and stealth cultivators to deal with them regardless. The drill yard will let us do more damage and fight longer but thats not what we're here for. The Kennels though will tell us how they act when they're weak points are attacked. Plus, it plays to our and Ji Rongs strengths.

Cries of alarm were beginning to rise from the fortress, and Ling Qi could hear the faint sizzle of impurity burning flesh from within the warped and darkening cloud.

I guess this is how the impurity starts to react with higher level cultivators. It's nice to see after hearing about it for a bit.

Man, I'm a sucker for cool entrances and three of the team got to do it there along with Guan tossing a rock and making tower disappear.

I am a bit worried about getting the dancers out of our sight since I don't think we have a counter for their poison yet but it is best to get rid of these guys before they start buffing.

I was leaning towards the dancer but the arguments for the Buff structure are very compelling.

Ling Qi a thrill went up Ling Qi's spine, warring with her worry and caution.
1 too many Ling Qi here.

Hmmm. Either Brute or Dancer I think.

The assassins getting stopped should be a good way to prevent them exerting more force than they should through lucky/skilled wetwork.

The Brute though, cripples their Intelligence gathering, and might just make it so they have no way to second guess the reason for this attack on them. Also, these are the ones most likely to figure out about the Bugs we left behind.

[] The shrine and the Dancers (hinders enemy stealth attack efforts, morale damage to enemy)

Either of these options will help our retreat.

[X] The Kennel and the Brute (Hinders Enemy buff structure and tracking/intelligence gathering)

But with this, they won't know what hit them.

Well, the arguments are very convincing, so...

[X] The shrine and the Dancers (hinders enemy stealth attack efforts, morale damage to enemy)
[X] The Kennel and the Brute (Hinders Enemy buff structure and tracking/intelligence gathering)
[X] The Drillyard (Overall chaos, prevents enemy organization for forming up.)

Chaos will give us more time, killing the assassins will keep a repeat of what happened when we were facing the cloud tribe from occurring again.
